We are not disappointed with our second stay with this hotel. Reception staff were friendly, helpful and easy to chat with. Room is spacious, clean, equipped with drinking water dispenser and fridge. Breakfast is usual local food and delicious, toasts, coffee and tea provided. Breakfast staff is always friendly and easy to chat with.

Excellent budget hotel near Hsinchu Station”
Great place to stay near the train station in Hsinchu. I regularly use it as a base of operations for onward exploration and the experience is always smooth and hassle-free. Some rooms are older than others but most are in good shape. Bring a blindfold if you have trouble sleeping when it's light out; there are no blackout drapes. Front desk is 24 hours, which is a nice touch, and the location really couldn't be any better. Recommended if you don't need anything fancy!

Good budget hotel near the station”
I've stayed in a few cheap hotels in Hsinchu and never liked any of them... but Peach hits the sweet spot: affordable, excellent location, clean and comfortable enough. The only downside was the dysfunctional wifi, apart from that everything was cool and I would stay again.

Not suitable for people who want non-smoking rooms”
I stayed in room 902. The guests in room next door were smoking and the smoke actually came into ours via the aircon / ventilation. It was really bad. I could smell the smoke whenever I on the aircon. It was disappointing as the hotel stated that it was a non-smoking hotel. Yes, the hotel furnishing was a bit old (half the curtain were not blackout) and not very clean (the bath towel they gave me had a stain on it). The good thing was they provided a water dispenser in the room, which was great as I did not have to worry about getting hot water. Location wise, it was great. Breakfast was normal too, just porridge or bread. There was a self-laundry area in the basement which was awesome. They provided the detergent and the cost to clean and dry was low too. Yes definitely value for money but you may not get a good night rest if you have a smoking guest next door.

The hotel is actually very old, the photos in the website makes it looks so new, the rooms were in a old fashioned style, bathroom style ass old, tiles on the bathroom was very slippery. The TV did not have any English channels and had a section called movies which were also so old . If they reduce the price to less than 1300 then I would prefer. Their breakfast was hopless... it's pure Taiwanese style, which won't be preferred by foreigners. I only had bread toast and scrambled egg with corn... I would only go if they reduce the price... Sorry for the harsh reviews..

If you are seeking for save money then it's a fine choice but the building is very old. Has many dirty houseitems inside the room. Housekeeping didn't visit even after i requested it. No keatle in the room. Steps are dirty.

Smell smoke all night long”
I did not realize it’s a hostel when I booked it. Paid NT4000 for a family room due to CNY. The only good thing is that there is a water bottle in the room. The room is ok in size but really old. Towels have holes. We smelled cigarette smoke all night long, husband got a major headache the next morning.

Great Hotel at Good Location”
We reached Hsinchu late at night via train with our elderly parents. However, it was within minutes by foot when we reach the hotel from Hsinchu Train Station-excellent location. The triple room comes with a double bed and a single bed, a min-fridge, a TV and a 19gallons distilled water dispenser. It is a contrast to some other hotels where a common water dispenser is located on the corridor or maybe just offer a few bottles of water in the fridge. For an additional occupant where we paid NT$200, only a mattress was provided. To fill up our stomach at night, eateries with fabulous food was just round the corner of the street.

Great hotel for the money”
If you are looking for a comfortable, clean, and nice hotel for a budget.. this is a great hotel. The room was clean and large. Free breakfast was decent (Asian style of course). It was located just a couple blocks from the train station and not far from the night market. Across the street from SoGo department store. A great budget find. Will stay again if I travel overnight to Hsinchu.

Second time I've stayed at this hotel & will continue to stay there when I go to Taiwan. I've got friends that live in Hsinchu & I know the area. Staff is very helpful & shopping and the train station are right there.
