1) Arrival: smooth check in at 2.30pm, had a warm welcome from the lobby staffs, my family was offered to the lounge with drinks while waiting for the check in. 2) Room: clean and amenities were all given. Room is according to the photos and my expectations. little feedback on the air ventilation in toilet was not Okay. i need to open my room door for better air ventilation after my soon used the toilet. 3) Facilities: Did not use much of the facilities, The Gym room was surprisingly quite well equipped. Swimming pool was clean and I like the complimentary ice lemon water for hotel guest. 4) Breakfast: Although was not school holiday but weekend was very packed with people. but the waiting line was cleared fast. well trained staffs handle breakfast crowd well and they do serve plastic glove to everyone who was taking food. Overall stay: I enjoyed my staff at this resort, the bed was superb big (can sleep up to 3 adults for king size) and pillow was soft enough. Well done and will visit again for sure.

The room was superbig. The view from my balcony was amazing. The staffs are all were super polite, friendly and nice. The checkin process was a dedicated check in style, meaning theyll make it as comfortable as possible as they will attend to us instead of us having to queue to be checked in. The breakfast service was excellent. The only 2 things that i find it upsetting was the parking issues (with animal litters spreading all over my car and giving the aweful smell and also the parking coins. The coins was something I don’t really fancy) apart from that, all was great and can’t wait to go there again soon…

We booked 2 deluxe half facing Seaview. The rooms was big and clean. 3 of kids are happy n excited . They played at the sliding pools which our actual plan when looking at the Penang resorts. Drive to city is like 20 mins if bad traffic up to 30 mins. So far so good. The staffs are friendly n we really felt comfortable during our stays here. This is my 5th resorts in Penang . It does not disappointed us at all. We will back here again for next trip. Highly recommend to all.

As usual, Parkroyal Penang never disappoint it's guests. I've booked a honeymoon stay for my brother and his bride for a 3 days 2 nights stay and it was excellent. Mr. Jelani, the F&B Manager literally went out of his way to provide the best experience for my brother and his wife. A romantic dinner at Gustoso where he surprised them with wonderful table set up (fresh flowers and beautifully decorated table) and the best hospitality. Food was suprerb as always. Parkroyal Penang is indeed a 5-star resort that I would recommend to anyone be it for couple, family or even solo traveler. MY MEMORABLE STAY WITH PARKROYAL RESORT, PENANG”
The hotel has excellent facilities, both inland and water sports. Sunset picturesque scenes are excellent but the sun goes down quite fast. Room and hotel cleanliness are good overall with friendly staff. However during buffet breakfast, guests were not wearing gloves nor masks when at the buffet counters. This is an important aspect of preventing Covid-19 spread as I saw some guests were coughing and sneezing without covering their mouths near these counters. I hope the Std Ops procedures can be improved further. Overall, both thumbs up!!! I will definitely return again!!!

1. Very efficient and fast check in and check out. Front desk staff and concierge are polite and friendly. 2. The hotel is on the beach. The beach is nice. The sand is clean and beautiful. 3. We checked in Deluxe king room. It is very spacious, nice arrangement and clean. The king bed is very comfortable (except the pillow is too soft). 4. We received complimentary fruits and dessert platter from the hotel for our 34th wedding anniversary. It was a heart warming gesture. 5. The hotel really follows the SOP. Feel safe staying in this hotel. Very impressed by the F&B team. Buffet breakfast was served by waiters and waitresses. A nice sight to behold was a team of chefs and the chief chef were seen taking order from the guests who lined up and handed over the order which was already pre cooked (fried noodles, fried koay teow,nasi lemak). All of them are very friendly and efficient. The nasi lemak and fried noodles were very good. 6. The hi tea set at the lounge was very nice. You can choose either western set or nyonya set. The western set came with 3 tiers which served cakes, macaroons, sandwiches, scones and free flow of tea or coffee. Value for money. 7. The hotel is quite big with nice surroundings. The night view was very nice ,beautifully lighted. 8. The location of the hotel is near to food places and street shopping stalls. You can get good seafood at Beach Corner Restaurant nearby the hotel. Highly recommended. 9. Overall we enjoyed the stay but too bad we only got to stay one night as the same type of room was fully booked.

Service was great from check-in to check-out. All staff are well trained, always with a smile and makes guest feel at home. They are always ready to assist in request. Housekeeping was fast to response to guest needs. The food was great. Beach surounding was clean, goes for the swimming pool. The view from the room 515 was great, the bed was comfortable, room is clean and quiet. Would highly recommend to any travellers when visiting Penang and I will definitely stay in Parkroyal Penang Resort whenever I travel to Penang.

We stayed at a deluxe room (due to the additional sofa-bed). The room was clean and the staff at the reception were very pleasant and accomodating to our request. The kids enjoyed the amazon pool area and the beach line was clean and beautiful. We also had the high-tea at the jazz lounge, which was tasteful. Overall, a nice holiday stay! We will be back for sure.

I settled for Park Royal as Shangri La Sands was fully booked. It tuned out to be an excellent choice. Location wise, it’s next to the beach and just outside is a stretch of Pasar malam and plenty of food options. The beach offered water acitivites… water slides at pool and a splash zone (aka water playground) kept my kids occupied plenty. What was supposed to be a 3d2n stay ended up as a 5d4n stay. Highlight was the staff who went out of their way to accommodate our needs and wishes. We truly enjoyed our stay. Special shout out to Ali, Kuna and Leen.

I booked 2 rooms as I have 4 kids and I brought my mom along for the trip. In my booking, I requested for 'rooms close or next to each other' and was given a connecting room. That was convenient. The rooms and bathroom were clean. We requested for bedroom slippers as the floor was not carpeted. It was promptly sent. My a/c had some leaking problem and housekeeping promptly sent maintenance to fix it. Very good service. The highlight is obviously the pools. My kids really enjoyed themselves with the slides. My toddler had fun at the mini water park, 'Amazonia'. He loved the mini slide. I hope Amazonia can be upgraded with more exciting features and add 1 or 2 more toddler slides. The area is quite big but not much going on. All in all, we had an amazing time and would love to come back! :)

Family vacations are sure to be fun! there is a large pool.. there is a slide for children to play... there is an interesting amazonia water play... the beach is also clean... beautiful landscape... the breakfast menu has a variety of choices, delicious, and satisfied with the service of the staff who is friendly and very polite! - Their beach is relatively cleaner than the beachfront of other hotels along this stretch - Staff was 5/5 superb! - Pool was great but a lot of acorns. We almost tripped many times. They should have a cleaner around pool area to sweep up the acorns a few times during the day - Great stay for families. Asked for towels and bath gel and they were happy to give more than requested - Free parking here is great. Have been to another neighbouring hotel in Feringghi that charged RM30 for non-valet parking to hotel guests. - Will be back

We visited in Apr with our toddler. We didn’t manage to get a crib as requested but it was ok. We booked the premier seaview so we had a king size bed to accommodate us. Our room had 2 balconies and amazing views. There’s a small baby pool and slides for adults. Amazonia is a bit of fun for kids too. Beach is fairly clean but could do better, the sand is not very fine for toddlers but u would expect it so in this part of the country. There are watersport activities in the sea but a section is cordoned off for safe swimming. Our room did not come with breakfast but we had lunch at the restaurant which is decent since we wanted a quiet lunch. Staff are friendly. We also liked that the hotel is refurbished in recent years compared to some others around the area.
