I was tasked by my friends to arrange for our trip and stay in Taipei. I was glad that I made the right decision to booked with Park Hotel. The hotel itself is not located in the busy shopping district but the entrance of MRT Daan station is right infront of the hotel. Daan station is where the red and brown line crosses which can take you back and forth to any places. Specially with the red line, were the Taipei 101, Shilin Night Market, Chang Kai Shek Memorial hall, Zhongshan shopping district and the Taipei main station is located but if you are not into taking subways, there's always taxi readily park outside of the hotel. Aside of its accessibility, what I loved about this hotel is the room size, the AC (really cold), the shower has plenty of hot water, it's super clean and the staff is super nice (my friend got a birthday cake for his birthday). It is definitely value for your money and I will definitely go back.

Service Exceeded Expectations”

Given some previous reviews, I wasn't expecting much in terms of service at the Park Taipei. But I have to say, that the staff exceeded my expectations on all fronts. They were exceptionally professional, responsive, courteous, and personable. I was on an extended stay for business, and they either did or attempted to meet every last request or need. Unlike other hotels that might have an "executive center" that is barely functional, the Park Taipei has a very clean, comfortable and *staffed* executive center. Every time I walked through the door, I was offered a fresh cup of coffee. The staff helped me with everything from rebooking my flight to opening a bank account ... I mean, really over the top (in a good way). The room was also very clean and comfortable. On the last night, I changed to a room with a view of Taipei 101, which was just so ... Taipei. Why spend money on a big name "five star" hotel when the service here is just as good, and far more personable? If I have to search for one negative, it's that the fitness room is a little bit small and poorly equipped. I'd prefer to see an elliptical or two rather than the (very nice) massage chair, but that's just me. There's also a California Fitness a block away that's very convenient, so it wasn't a deal breaker. All around, it was a really great stay. Convenient to transportation (right next to MRT station), and located very close to main business districts. I really couldn't have asked for much more.

Great Hotel & Attentive Staff”

Wonderful, boutique hotel! Greeted professionally by staff upon arrival. Check-in/out smooth and quick. Hotel rooms are new, housekeeping is friendly and great, front desk seems to remember all guests, bell boys speak Mandarin and good English, and location is fantastic. Metro (MRT) is literally in front of the hotel, so you walk ~ 12 feet to enter hotel doors. Get off at "Daan" stop, Exit 6 and not "Daan Park", which we did as we reached it first from the airport and "Daan" was next. Meant an extra 750m of walking with luggage after a long, long flight. Great spread for breakfast. Hotel across from a bakery, next to little cafes (incl a Starbucks), across from restaurants, stores (incl Watsons dept store), and near a night market. Business centre with adjacent room with comfortable couches for reading English Taipei Daily and Chinese magazines & paper. Big deck with comfortable couches outside of this room as well. Try to get room facing park--quieter. Thanks to staff of Park Taipei!!

Great hotel at convenient location, will be back!”

Stayed here alone from 7-9th Aug 2014, booked the room at around $190 sgd. per night via Agoda.com. Location The hotel is at a great location in DaAn area with a MRT exit (XinYi line) right in front of the hotel entrance. Across the street is another MRT exit/entrance for the WenHu line. As you then left exiting the hotel, within minutes of walking, there's a Starbucks and Family Mart, super convenient to pick up quick meals or a cup f coffee/tea. Approximately 10-20 mins walking time to reach the 2 Sogo shopping malls & Breeze Centre. If you don't want to walk, there are plenty of buses at the bus stop near the hotel. Also within walking distance are the DaAn park and YongKang street (full of great eateries). Room I booked a superior room with King size bed and was upgraded to a same tier room but with a Taipei 101 view. It was a nice touch for sure. There's a balcony but can't seem to open it. The room itself is very comfortable, clean and well appointed. Size is reasonably big. Comes with a working desk & an armchair. There's a bathtub in the toilet, good for soaking after a long day out. Staff The people working at the hotel are generally nice and pleasant. They are also quick to offer suggestions when asked. Paul in particularly was very helpful. It's great to feel welcome. Conclusion All in all, this is a hotel I definitely recommend and will not hesitate to rebook when I'm back in Taipei again.

New, modern, and comfortable hotel”

i stayed in this hotel because it was a great deal through Agoda for a 5-star hotel. the stay at Park Taipei turned out better than expected... the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the bathrooms had the Japanese toilets that wash your butt for you and even has a seat warmer, fast wifi, comfortable beds, decent sized tub that allows you to watch your partner shower while you bath, and fully automated lights via a remote on your nightstand. I booked this hotel because it was very close to Daan MRT. However, we still ended up taking taxis everywhere. It was very easy to get a taxi from the hotel. Also, whenever someone asked where we were staying and we mentioned Park Taipei, they were very impressed and said it was a famous hotel. What an ego boost! Overall, loved it here. Definitely would not mind staying here again!

Great location, Excellent service, New comfortable”

Park Taipei is a relatively new hotel only a few years old. i have to commend the hotel service for being top notch as we needed a WIFI connection in the rooms (currently its internet in rooms are only via lan cable), and the staff promptly set up a router inside the room to our surprise! fantastic, even shangri la wouldn't do that. hotel is located in a central district Daan, its only a few steps away from the station. There is a starbucks just next door, and its walkable distance to the main zhongxiao east road. rooms are very comfortable, molton brown toiletries. service staff was always friendly and willing to help. you can use the business room facilities for free, there is an iMac and 3 windows computers there, you can make yourself a cup of tea or coffee and rest on the sofas there. gym has some fee weights, a bike, and a treadmill, and a very comfy osim massage chair!

This hotel is very STRATEGIC in location, I'm telling you, VERY. The MRT station is located right in front of the hotel, there's a local bubble tea vendor next door and a local breakfast place. 7eleven, Starbucks,Family mart, and a cat cafe are all within walking distance. The staffs were very friendly, always greeting us everytime we enter the hotel. The hotel room is very complete, comfortable, and clean. Oh! and to further proof the "strategic location" point, the MRT station right in front of the hotel, "Daan" is operating on the red line, which has a lot of tourist attractions so we didn't have any trouble transferring MRT lines. The view of Taipei 101 from our windows were clear, but pretty far so it wasn't exactly pretty but it was enough. Me and my family had a nice stay and would definitely recommend Park Taipei Hotel to anyone.

Excellent location and wonderful staff”

The hotel is right next to the Daan MRT Station - very convenient indeed. It is sitting in the juncture of 2 train lines. You can almost go anyway by trains. The train in Taipei is very handy. Toilets in the stations are very clean too - credit to all Taiwanese. Thumbs up. Nice friendly staff at the hotel. They are very prompt and helpful in their service. They speak very good English. They have maps at the desk. We went walking in the Daan Park early in the morning around 6:30am. I was surprised to see so many Taiwanese already there. 'Gym' is a bit small though. All in all, I enjoy my stay here and I would love to recommend Park Taipei Hotel to my friends.

Forget Typical Western Hotel Brands! Stay Here Ins”

Instead of staying at your typical western hotel chain brand like Marriott, Sheraton, Westin, Intercontinental, and paying big bucks, I'd recommend Park Taipei. The rooms are modern. There is free broadband internet. You get free water bottles that are replenished daily. They provide free slippers (that's important for me). It has a great location. Everything is within a 1.5 mile radius including the Taipei 101. The metro station, Daan, is a block away. And there is a Starbucks right outside. What more can you ask for?! The staff is extremely helpful. Even though their English isn't strong, they will not give up trying to help you. We arrived early in the morning around 3am. We were hungry so they helped us order McDonald's delivery even though the entire menu was in Chinese. They even made sure we were happy with our order! Also, whenever we had questions on how to get somewhere, they are happy to help you. The view is awesome too. You can see the Taipei 101 building from your room. And I can't forget to mention their cool technological marvel called the toilet. You'll understand what I mean when you sit on it.

Very clean, comfortable and spacious rooms”

the hotel is conveniently located next to daan mrt station and has a starbucks round the corner. also within walking distance from the hotel is the zhongxiao fuxing mrt station, which is right in the middle of one of taipei's shopping district (3 sogo malls are located here). there really isn't much to do in the area around the hotel, as compared to say, taipei city hall area or the ximending district so this is great if you are looking for a hotel away from the hustle of taipei's epicentre of activities. the rooms are very clean, comfortable and spacious. the amenities in the room are in good working condition (and the toiletries are from molten brown, in case you are interested). the staff at the conceirge are really friendly and eager to help with directions around the city, which is great if you land in taipei not having a clue as to what you intend to do and where you intend to go! wifi in the room and hotel lobby is free and pretty fast. do note the standard 3pm check-in time, though. i was able to get the room before that because the previous guest checked out early. overall a great hotel and i would stay here again during my next visit to taipei.

COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN HOTEL WITH GREAT LOCATION”

You can reach this hotel from Taipei Main Station by taking the red line. Taoyuan International Airport has an express train going to the Taipei Main Station. This hotel is very accessible via train. It was just outside the Daan Station of the Red Line. If you have not been to Taipei, the redline serves tourist destinations such as the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall, the Taipei 101 Tower, and the Shilin Night Market. The Daan Station is also an interchange for the Brown Line, which serves the Taipei Zoo, among others. This hotel has clean rooms. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and has a bath tub. Water pressure was excellent. The only downside was that the breakfast buffet. It had limited choices. Nonetheless, hotel experience was great for me and my family. We will definitely stay here again. This is highly recommended.

This was our second stay at Park Taipei Hotel. The staff are always exceptionally attentive to our needs and always go the extra mile to assist us with restaurant reservations, currency exchange, booking taxis, etc. Rooms are always clean and housekeeping staff are always responsive. Room rates are very reasonable, and the hotel’s close proximity to the MRT (Daan station is literally steps away from the hotel’s front entrance) makes it ideal for tourists. We will definitely plan to stay at this property again on our next visit to Taipei. Highly recommended!

booked only 1 night to check out the area and the hotel but extend my stay for another 3 more night. hotel is located 3 mins walk from daan mrt which is very convenience to travel around taipei. through there's nothing much around the hotel surrounding but i like the quietness after whole day of shopping and touring around taipei. room have standard business amenities but has contemporary design and it's relaxed and comfortable. breakfast is not bad with both local and western cuisine being served. service is friendly and helpful, they give tips everyday on where and how to explore taipei city and surrounding area. had a wonderful stay at the park

My second time staying at the park hotel. Came back to the same Taipei hotel 2 years in a row becos of the good location, reasonable price and good size room. The hotel is also near to my fav yong he dou jiang. Is my breakfast place for a few morning. Just a step away from the daan mrt station hence is easy access to most part of Taipei. The hotel staff r friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back to the same hotel when I am back to Taipei
