View is great. Location is far from community town. Suggest to rent motorcycle with skills. Foods can pre order at the resort cafe but quite costly. Room is good fir adventurous. At night can hear noise on the ceiling . The place is dusty but understandable since it is made from bamboo. Flies can be annoying here. Mobile coverage is bad here. So it is good place for escapes.

      A lot of potential”

The resort has beautiful views and makes for beautiful pictures, with the thatched roof huts, the infinity pool, the seaside cliffs. It’s a nice place. For the price, I was disappointed that our room appeared not to have been cleaned (clean sheets, but a lot of hair and dust on the floor. The bathroom could use a deep clean), and the grounds are not particularly well maintained (trash, patio furniture needing maintenance, ..). There’s a lot of potential here but the management needs to tighten up their cleaning and maintenance. We enjoyed our stay but would likely look at other options next time.

      Paree Hut meh”

I didn't want to believe the reviews here but it's all true. No one answered the phone or LINE to pick us up so we had to pay to be taken there. 200 baht. There was no one staying there the night we stayed, it was very odd. Views are nice, but the entire facility needs to be renovated. Also, in the morning view was ruined by 30+ ships sitting right outside in the ocean. Breakfast buffet was made fresh for us, but I think it made me sick and lacked cleanliness. Have been sick for the last day. My Thai girlfriend was okay though so I am not 100% sure. I think this place has huge potential, but they really need to work hard on it for 6 months and put in some money. Get organized. The owner was nice and did help us get back to the pier the next day.

      Worst service”

I arrived at Pareehut but could not check in since they could not find my booking. Saw another group having the same issue as mine and we had to wait for hours. I booked this a month ahead of my trip but i was put in a villa located far away from the sea (but another group of Chienese made a reservation a day before got a villa next to the sea). Room & toilet were very dirty and there was no lock at the entrance. Fishing was their main activity promoted on their website as well but the reality is I had to wait for 2 hours for the rods. I checkout after 4 hours.

Very Disappointed - Do Not Go At All ”

Here are the reasons why I don't recommend it. Staff don't speak English. Prices are same for all room, so you're on your own luck. Room doors are not equipped with lock. No amenities except towels. No closet and table. Bathroom made by bamboo and people can see you taking bath. Resort is located next to waste disposal factory, at night the factory discharge the toxic smokes which you can see and smell it. Garbage is everywhere. Snake spotted outside our room and last day in our bathroom. Very very dangerous. Food is tasteless. Nothing is good except the view.

The price of the Hut is Too Expensive for old unmaintained bamboo huts”

We did not get the hut we booked & were given a hut without air conditioning, although the A/C was new but did not work. When reported a father & son was sent to check out the A/C but neither one had a clue what the problem of the a/c plus they did not know anything about electricity ( how could property’ owners employ such unskilled staff ) There was a table fan but didn’t help as the weather was hot & could not sleep as the windows had to be shut to stop mosquitoes coming into the room. The hut also had leaches crawling all over the ground plus many parts of the bamboo hut was broken or cracked & no maintenance nor repairs. To make things worst a plate of Fried Rice for dinner was super expensive at 100 Baht Same meal in Pattaya cost 1/2 price. This is a Rip-off .The swimming pool water was Brownish & seems the property owner couldn’t care less to clean it. B/fast was tasteless Thai boiled rice & plate of ham sausage fried eggs .AGODA should stop promoting this property

      Felt underwhelmend in the end.”

Ill keep it short, this is my first review. Paree Hut is what it sells, a rustic, almost tribal hut style experience located on the ocean, nice views and lovely quiet atmosphere. But, overgrown gardens, rusty nails sticking out, unclean unsanitary kitchen and food prep areas, bodgy repairs. This place would have been swell when it opened long ago, but the typical Thai way, no budget has been given for maintenance. Our room still wasnt ready by 3:15pm, there is no wife or internet, and the ocean 'view' is littered with ugly barges and cargo ships. The menu is expensive, and limited to any race except Thai. Dont believe the photos folks...

The views were amazing, the food was very good (as long as you like seafood) and the staff seemed friendly. Very little English is spoken here. An excellent place to stay if you want to escape. No television, wifi or windows in the hut. Not very luxerious at all but comfortable. Power outages were a problem but from what I understand it is part of life there. I would not return there as I prefer a few more creature comforts. Although, if unplugging is what you're after then this is your place

If you watch Thai soap operas and want to visit the location where one of them was made then go to visit Paree Hut and see how it really looks like. In any other case, my advise is: do not go there. The Bamboo hut and interior would cost you maybe THB 1,000 somewhere else.

      Privacy Scenery Nature

I wanted to stay at this hotel because I've seen many beautiful pictures taken at this place. We stayed for 2 nights at this price we expected good seafood and spacious room. It turned out that they used cheap ingredients in every meal, small prawns and 10 Baht worth of vegetable. Besides we had to have lunch at another restaurant in town, which was very ridiculous. Why do we had to ride the scooter all the way to have lunch in town? Can't they just serve every meal at the hotel? Room was very small, difficult to find space to settle our bags. No proper lock on the door, only the bamboo bolt. Anybody can just walk in when you're away. Receptionist wasn't always at the table, so it's very annoying trying to get the daily food coupons. You can't really swim when the tide is low because there's so many sea urchins at the bottom. Only nice thing about this place is the scenery.

Good seafood and large portions, quiet surroundings, no noisy kids

This bungalow resorts needs some serious renovations, and doesn`t look like the internet pictures. The location is far from the island`s village and no public transport available. The staff was not at the hotel in the night, and when my girlfriend and me was the only guests then we were left completely on ourselves in the "bush". The bamboo bungalows are not especially comfortable, and we found a large rat in our bathroom. Two nights was plenty for us at this resort, and it was really not many activities to enjoy at this remote resort.

The place is obviously lacked of maintenance and caring from the owner. ”

The hut has no locks from outside Some chairs are rusty. Some bamboo tables are molded. If it's for your own house, you 'd have thrown it away already. The bamboo wall and door were broken and seemed like the owner doesn't care to fix it, also the soap bar is hanging loose out of its place. The breakfast is very substandard, considering its price, not to mention a troop of flies, leaving you eating with one hand, and another is for fanning the flies away. Seems like only the staff are there to operate day-to-day job, no more, no less. It's a pity that the resort is located in good surrounding and the design and layout seemed to be well thought of from the beginning. At this point of time, the current owner seems to let go and indifferent to see the business go down along with the collapsing bamboo huts. With more caring maintenance, it would have worth the money that clients pay. Feel disappointed and pity. I won't recommend this place to my friends.
