Beautiful place and Outstanding Service from the Staff”

Panviman Koh Chang is a truly beautiful resort in a fantastic location on klong prao beach which is arguably one of the best beaches on the island. It is situated right in between White Sands and Kai Bae / Lonely Beach which makes it great for exploring all the different areas. Panviman is hidden away down a private road which is about 1 km. As such it makes it really secluded and fantastic to escape the hustle and bustle. It's easy to access however as they have a free shuttle service and also local taxis will ferry you down for a vey cheap price, which is a god send in the heat. Panviman is very grand and a stunningly beautiful resort. The villas are stunning in design and the rooms are fantastic. Some of the fitted wardrobes could do with refurbishing but as it is quite a grand resort you kind of accept this, but as it is so beautiful it does deserve a little TLC. The pools are beautiful and the beach is stunning. The restaurants serve excellent food and drinks and we took advantage of the great food and service quite a lot. What makes Panviman even more stand out is the service. The staff throughout the restaurant, bar, spa and front office are absolutely fantastic. From the minute we arrived we where made to feel so special! The staff are absolutely excellent and are obviously very professional. Winnie who is the Guest Relations Officer is a truly fantastic! She made our stay so special and the service she is able to deliver is genuinely amongst the best we have experienced. She is very attentive and is always wanting to make sure all the guests are happy and taken care of! All in all with the beauty of the resort followed up with outstanding service I would not hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone. Couples, families and groups it is really perfect! What an amazing place and amazing staff!! Thank you so much for making our holiday so special.

Best service in Koh Cheng ever!!”

I pick the resort by a really accident chance. Surprisingly, got a lot of nice experiences. Rooms: although you can tell the resorts has built in some years, but it maintains pretty well (they also just renovate in 2019) and a lot of nice and sweet details to make your vacation more relaxing. Service: this is one of thing I love the most, all of the staff are very professional and helpful, they greet to you every time when they see you, always polite and but not making you feel too much. facilities: SPA and the price of the restaurant is very reasonable (in a touristic area). Especially, Thai massage, the skill of the masseur is very skillful. You can really just relax here, Santhiya Tree Koh Chang Resort, is one of the most thoughtful resort in Koh Chang. Must come visit again :)

Paradise”

I've been raving about Santhiya Tree to anyone who will listen, since I checked in. We had booked a 4 night stay, and then 4 nights elsewhere, but we ended up cancelling our last 2 nights at our 2nd accom to come back to Santhiya. The staff were friendly and accommodating, beach was beautiful, and everything we needed to relax was there. We stayed in the pool suite water view (our first room in the newer (?) building was immaculate, and the other was also beautiful with some very minor signs of wear which I'm hopeful the resort will keep on top of). Felt totally private despite having neighbours on either side (never heard a peep from them). Breakfast buffet was delicious with a great view. The only thing I'd fault is not having more frequent transfers to/from the main street (although it's a pretty cruisy 15 min walk), and the price of the restaurant (especially when there is incredible food on the main street). Overall, conducive to total relaxation and I can't wait to go back.

Perfect honeymoon ”

We spent 5 nights at this resort for our honey moon and it was fantastic. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. We were welcomed with a cold towel and a Thai herbal drink upon arrival. The staff took us on a tour of our room and were very thorough. We had so much fun in koh Chang mostly because our hotel was so great. The resort is situated on a nice white sandy beach and it is by far the best compared to the other resorts around. The resort provides motorbikes for rent at only 200baht per day which was an amazing way to allow guest to fully enjoy all the island has to offer. We spent two days exploring by bike and it was the best 200baht spent! They also offer a fabulously luxurious massage by the beach for a very reasonable price. We took advantage of the oil massage and it was lovely. The breakfast was also a large variety which was great! The food at the restaurant is also not bad but a little pricey. We ended up eating most of our meals elsewhere. Overall if we come back to koh Chang we will surely be back to panviman resort!

Island Dream”

Exceptional staff and facilities. We will however use their van services the next time because it was a very long drive from Bangkok for us, but we did leave late. To fully relax I would suggest a 3 night stay and use their transport. This is a absolutely beautiful spot, the beach is so clean I will return here again especially when we travel to Rayong and spend some time there, afterwards we can continue on to Koh Chang and stay at the Santhiya Tree, give out thanks to Joy and Joy who were your trainees, superb place I would think for them to learn. Truly luxury hotel with great atmohsphere”

We stayed at the deluxe pool access room for 3 nights. The room was spacious and especially the bath room. There are both bath tub and shower cabin. The room has everything, from the standard things like beach towels, soap, shampoo, detergent, body lotion, to more exclusive stuffs like scented oil, beach bag and slippers. The hotel staffs were all very helpful and they always smile. Suprisingly, heir english are very good compared to many places in Bangkok. The hotel has 3 pools and a lot of sun beds. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of both eastern and western cuisine. There are also many different types of fruits. The hotel offers a selection of tours at market price. Cons: The hotel is next to the beach, which means that it is far away from the mainroad, you will have to rent a scooter in order to go out in the evening. There are shuttle bus services in the morning, which brings you to the white sand beach and the main road. It should be noted that this is quite common for many beach front hotels at Koh Chang. It is nevertheless possible to find other dining possibilities than the hotel's restaurant if you take a stroll down the beach.

This resort was just great. The staff were instrumental in my wife and I having a wonderful and unforgettable week in Koh Chang. I have nothing but great things to say about the resort and especially the staff in the dining area and the reception desk. The reception staff went out of their way to help us book excursions and book our trip back to Bangkok via taxi and the service at breakfast and dinner was five star. A minor recommendation is that I would suggest the resort pay more attention to minor repairs and maintenance around the grounds. The overall appearance and the location is fantastic - the best location we've stayed in the 4 beach resorts we've stayed in Thailand. The beach is quiet and beautiful the water is warm and the sunsets are amazing. We will definitely return as long as the prices remain reasonable.

TROPICAL PARADISE ”

We arrived by Santhiya Tree boat transfer and it was a amazing way to arrive. We felt like movie stars. Reception staff were polite and friendly and after a quick welcome drink we were taken to our pool access villa. Room was clean with thai style furniture and a huge comfortable bed with mosquito net. The bathroom and whole room was so beautiful the best we have ever stayed at. We loved everything about this wonderful resort including breakfast which was amazing with beautiful views of the mountains river and massive pool . Dont hesitate book this beautiful resort.

Sanctuary on Koh Chang”

We spent a week on Koh Chang as the final leg of a 2-week Thailand honeymoon, and wow - what an experience. Koh Chang - gorgeous, serene and so quiet. Not very touristy at all, which was precisely what we were seeking. The resort is gorgeous, and the entire staff was great. Food was really tasty. Drinks could definitely be stronger, but they're buy one, get one free every day at happy hour, so just double up and you'll be fine! Otherwise, nothing but wonderful things to say about this place. Beach is fantastic, and when you're bored there, just wander the 20 feet up to the pool for a few hours. Speaking of pools - spring for the private pool villa. It is ABSOLUTELY worth it, we loved the private, romantic getaway very much.

Excellent resort ”

What an amazing resort, really nice swimming pool right on the beach. Breakfast lots of choice, rooms super clean( we stayed in a pool suite room, plunge pool and outdoor bathtub).Really cannot fault Santhiya Tree Resort in any way, all staff were super friendly and polite. We will be back .

Best resort on Koh Chang ”

We spent 12 days in total and were very happy with this resort. As the other resorts were couple of hundred meters away the water was never too crowded with other tourists compared to for example white beach were everything was packed. Also not being located close to the main road allowed less noise, however the shuttle bus could run more frequently than every second hour. We rented scooters and they were delivered to the hotel with helmets available, very slick. The crew was very friendly and helpful. Food was amazing but the beachfront food service has a few improvement points to strive for. In general we thought this was the best place to stay at on Koh Chang.

I had a wonderful time with Santhiya Tree Kho Chang Resort during my stayed 3 nights. Lovely staffs, excellent service, Pool Suite that were stayed very nice facilities with nice view. Spa also great service. Love this place will come back again.

Very good”

I like the style of the hotel. Not just another modern and square European style hotel. The place was Nice. Good rooms, good Beach, good location, good food. What really makes this hotel great is the staff. They can be a little confused from time to time, but they are so friendly and helpful. The waiters, the cleaning ladies and the general staff are just so kind and warm. Thank you staff at Santhiya Tree for being you!

Great luxury resort”

We came to Koh Chang for rest. We stayed in a garden villa. Roomy well appointed rooms with good quiet airconditioning Recommended. We were initially given a garden villa near the high rise extension of the hotel. which is still being finished. We requested a room further away from the inevitable building noise. The reception staff arranged for us to move to a similar villa closer to the seafront. The balcony in front of each room is nice, but not usable wihout ceiling fan. The staff is well trained end very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent. The only thing that annoyed us wasthat around the pool and restaurant area music started at 5 pm sharp. We complained about the bad sound mix (pumping bass sounds) and the choice of music (house). The restaurant staff said they could not change things because the engineering department was responsible. Even in between quite romanitic live music or dance performances engineering decided some heavy house music was the most appria

Lovely resort! ”

Resort is lovely, pool and beachfront are wonderful. We were there in their slow season ( may) so was not crowded at all. Stayed in the pool access villa which for the most part was lovely, but the resort needs some maintenance and updating. The bathroom on first look seems wonderful but the bathtub is too large to fill up- a wasted space with small tiles that are broken. Our roof in the bathroom leaked badly as many nights and few times during the day it rained and soaked everything in the bathroom. If they could redo the roofs in the villas and replace the tubs with a smaller working version would be fabulous. Most of the staff were great, English was a challenge for a few of them. Note: if you plan on visiting Koh Chang it has sand flies which bite and are worse than mosquito's!! We thought the food here was a bit pricey but a short walk down the beach has a wonderful little restaurant and serves great inexpensive food. There are many restaurants on the main road as well. When you leave the resort take a left for about 5 minutes ( by motorbike) you will find several great little restaurants that have amazing food & drink for very little price!. The resort is a bit off the main road but they will offer you a drop off service to the main road every half hour. You can also rent a bike from the resort.

We stayed in Paradise and will definitely be back”

We stayed in Panviman for 2 weeks and enjoyed every moment there! The trip from the ferry to the hotel was crazy, I mean the mountain road where crazy taxi driver never slowed down.And when we turned from the main road to Panviman and saw nothing but jungles for 2 km, we were close to regret about the hotel choice. But then we forgot all that in this paradise. We were met by the best manager Nookie, Rus and other girls in Thai costumes who gave us cold wet towels and cold drinks. In the room we found a greeting letter with a plate full of fruits for us. There were lots of orchides,other tropical flowers and trees everywhere. The breakfasts were so great and tasty that we couldn't leave the restaurant for 2 hours. We were happy that we lived far from the main road. it was a big plus,because we didn't hear traffic, it didn't smell like in White Sand Beach and we felt very secured there. When we needed we took the shuttle bus to the main road or White Sand Beach which was for free. No difficulties with transportation at all! Nookie is always ready to help you and make your stay the most comfortable. In the hotel we ordered elephant trekking, snorkeling and I took fruit carving classes right in the restaurant. I loved it so much and wanted to buy special knives. They delivered them for me from Bangkok. I tried massage many times in different places but never found anyone better than Moo. The price was twice higher but the quality was 100 times better. Our beach was the cleanest and not as crowded as white sand beach. There was a fumigator in the room and we never had any problems with mosquitos. Even gechos in the bathroom were friendly. The best place for honeymoon!

We spent 3 nights in Santhiya Tree during our honeymoon. The bungalow, the beach area, the pool, the staff, the food, the spa, really everything was perfect. Thank you very much for such a nice stay!

2nd Time to Koh Chang”

We have now visited Koh Chang 2 times this year and loved both trips. The hotel is a little bit off the main road but there is free shuttle bus to and from the road. Staff are very very accommodating, friendly and polite; some of the best that I know (I stay in a lot of hotels for both work and vacation). Breakfast has good choices whilst dinner offers a wide variety of Asian & Non-Asian foods. Pool is good and the beach is super - sand (no stones), shallow and good enough to swim properly. The rooms are large with a massive bed and plenty of room; esp. in the bathroom. I will definitely return here; not for the above points but in one of the 3 rooms we occupied the air-con failed and the manner in which it was handled was excellent.
