Oakwood & Songdo a Revelation! ”

Absolutely brilliant. Just way to short. Rather than stay in Seoul for a few days before flying onwards, the next time we visit Korea we will DEFINITELY make Oakwood and Songdo our preferred base near the airport. Yes, it's a 35-40 minute bus trip airport to hotel, but WELL worth the effort. Fascinating new city to explore with boating, a jogging course and park immediately outside the hotel and the very best of staff welcomes...from EVERYONE we came in contact with. A priceless asset. On this visit we needed a hotel near the airport for an earlier flight the next day. My son and I really enjoyed the luxury of the twin room with movie-style views of the city. I can't wait for my wife and her nieces to enjoy what I later learnt is the tallest building in Korea. A USP indeed, but the friendly welcome beats even that. Just disappointed it was a flying visit, not a destination in itself.

just like any other brand new hotels... oakwood premier songdo was clean.. neat.... fancy...... n everything! all the kitchen tools were perfect. had the best night view after the sunset!

Superb quality but lacks important information”

Great hotel, beautiful room, excellent facilities, shower, bath etc. kitchen is extremely well equipped if you want to eat in. My only and biggest complaint is the complete lack of information regarding how to get there, even a phone call to the front desk revealed nothing. Took a taxi which wasn't cheap only to discover late evening there is a shuttle bus for 7,000KRW which is a great deal and only takes 30 minutes from Incheon Airport. As with many local Korean hotels all the important information for the traveler is often missing which can be quite frustrating. I'd definitely stay there again if I can find out where to get the shuttle bus from the airport otherwise it will be somewhere closer!

Good place if you want to escape and relax”

Solo traveler with dog looking for a weekend escape (mostly staing in the hotel room). It was great for my purpose- loved the room. If you are needing a place near the airport or looking for a nice travel base, this is NOT it. It is very far away from the airport and main attractions of Seoul. Also, I had to call multiple times before someone would answer the phone. Pet deposit: 500,000.00 ￦(refundable if no damage- dogs up to 8kg allowed) plus a 55,000.00￦ pet cleaning fee. For tourists, I recommend Grand Hyatt (no pet) next to the airport or Incheon Airport Hotel if you have a pet. This hotel is not great, but it is near the airport and they are one of the very few hotels that allow pets in Korea.

Spectacular Night/Morning View of West Sea ”

The hotel was very new and spoltless clean. When I walked into my hotel room, I was amused by the spectacular night view- The morning view was also beautiful! The staff were very attentive though they didnt understand English when I asked them for a menu book for a room service. The location is excellent as it is so close to a local subway station connected to the main metropolitan line of Seoul. You can also catch a subway train directly to Incheon airport. The downsides are that WiFi is not complimentary (but I had a local sim with data so that didn't bother met), their lime flavoured pana cotta tasted a bit thin and was not creamy enough for me (could be subjective) and there were not enough resturants/cafes and convenient stores in the surrounding as the building has just been newly built (next to Sheraton). Nonetheless, the spectacular and glamourous view from the window and the spacious room def outweigh the downsides.

Recent stay before departure from South Korea”

Stayed at hotel on last night of business trip prior to leaving South Korea. The hotel is in my belief catering for mid-long stay clients as rooms are more like apartments with fully fitted kitchen, living area and bathroom. The standard of room was best we encountered on visit to South Korea and we had pleasure in eating on restaurant on night of stay and again quality of food was best we had on trip. Did not have time for breakfast in morning due to early flight but again shuttle service to airport (for nominal charge) was excellent. Will certainly stay again if visiting area and highly recommend to anyone looking for a home from home. Located near Incheon Centre with variety of bars and restaurants for those staying for a longer break.

Must Try!”

A very clean hotel with a spectacular view of Incheon. It can be accessed via subway but is quite far from downtown Seoul. The central park in front is perfect for strolling and the several restaurants in the park serve good food. I highly recommend this hotel to new couples or even families who just want to relax. A hypermarket is right beside the hotel. A shuttle bus to and from the airport is available for 7000 Won starting 5am everyday. Absolutely 5 STARS!!!

I love my stay at Oakwood. You have a full grocery store a 2 minute walk. Take basement elevator. My room was a true 5 star hotel. Plus a full kitchen and washer/dryer. I would stay there again. Its a great place to stay with all the home remedies away from home. Its so clean too and very safe location. I was there April 24th

Beautiful but lacking in some aspects”

Loved the staff and the rooms are fabulous. The views are wonderful and the dinner was terrific. The air conditioning was not working and I did not know, I had a very bad nights sleep with being a hormonal woman who gets hot flashes :( when I am in a hot room and was not aware I could have opened the windows. The staff member did apolozized the next day and wished she had told me but at the point it was too late. I didn't make a fuss but for the cost I paid it was not the experience I had hoped for, I would suggest the hotel install an ATM somewhere for convenience of their clients. It was hard to find one in the immediate area in Songdo that morning which is still being constructed and I was anxious about not having any problems paying for my taxi to the airport early that morning but luckily the concierge really helped me out with the driver and explained in Korean my dilemma and I was able to prepay which meant I could finally relax.

I visited Songdo Oakwood on a trip with my child. I made a cheap reservation through Agota, so I had a good trip. Oakwood is great for short-term travelers because most rooms have kitchen facilities and washing machines. The location is also in the center of Songdo. The view is also excellent because it is located on the highest floor.

Outstanding”

Fantastic, My son and I stayed here for 1 week for the Presidents Cup in golf from 5th Oct to 12th Oct. We had a 2 Bedroom apartment and it was near new ,clean, fully fitted out with everything you needed in appliances and had luxurious living, bathrooms and bedroom areas. All staff were excellent and security was evident everywhere. If there was a better score than 10 out 10 I would give it.We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Seoul(Incheon).Its simply OUTSTANDING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Stay In Incheon”

This is probably the best hotel I have stayed while visiting our factory in Incheon in past 8 years. Immaculate rooms and best view from the bar it also is very close, walking distance to restaurants and a stones through away from the Lotte market. Will defiantly be my choice for my return.

It was good”

Room condition was good and it was enough to wide to stay four members. The location of this hotel is also fine. it is close to station(Incheon Univ. station). So everybody can visit this hotel easily.

Fantastic”

This hotel was everything all the other reviews had said. I hadn't been to Korea before and the staff are so hospitable. The room, kitchen, laundry had everything you could hope for except for milk for coffee. But there is a really good convenience food store next door at the Sheraton Hotel. I took a shuttle from the airport which takes almost an hour and most places require a taxi unless you are confident using public transport in a country with limited English. I took a cab back from Triple Street and despite behaving it written in Korean where I wanted to go, the cab driver took me to the wrong hotel and I had to walk from there as there was no way to communicate.

No-brainer hotel if you're attending tradeshows...”

I didn't harbour any expectations prior to checking in, except maybe for the hotel to be located to the convention centre next door as close as possible. Having arrived at the hotel early after a tiring red-eyed flight, I requested for an early check in and was given an option to do just that but at a rather steep cost (about 40%-50% of what I'd paid for the hotel room upon a quick mental calculation), which didn't really make sense to me, given it was only a 2-3 hours before the normal check-in hour at the supposed hour. I politely declined the offer, although a bit worse for wear; I had experienced some other hotels that would do an early-check in at no additional cost at all, though. Anyway, besides that, I didn't really have the time nor inclination to try the hotel facilities and F&B there, so couldn't really comment on these. The most deeply-felt impression was the comfort of the bed - couldn't recall the last time I slept on such a comfortable hotel bed - as well as the bathroom that has a sort of floor-to-ceiling window, peering outside to the distant mountains and down to the street-level below - very Zen-like feel, while bathing or just laying in the bath tub. Since this hotel only opened last year, as I understood, it's furniture, fixtures and everything are pretty much impeccable. I look forward to trying the one in Seoul the next time.

Pricey but fantastic room!”

i always stay near incheon on the day before flying out for convenience. Thought the room was a bit pricey but well worth it for the big room and luxurious interior and exterior. Very high rise hotel and if your lucky when it is not foggy, fantastic view! Residence type hotel room but feels like a mini suite room. Basement garage access to Lotte Mart. One bad thing was that there is nothing nearby.

It was my second visit at Oakwood. We had a great time. The location isnt too good if you are using public transportation, but otherwise it is a neat, clean hotel.

I have no time to travel abroad. So I choose and stayed at oakwood hotel. Fully refresh!! Itz nice time for me.
