Nuchjaree - Highly recommended value for money”

Very pleased with Nuchjaree Place and would stay again. The staff were all friendly with genuine warm smiles to greet you. It's a 2 minute walk to some nice restaurants and the lake 'Beung Kaen Nakhon'. There are also 3 temples within a short distance as is 7-11mini mart. It's a long way to the main shopping areas Central or Fairy Plaza but there's a good taxi service operating around Khon Kaen which is inexpensive. The bed was probably the most comfortable I've slept in for a long time but the bedding was a bit tired, however it was very clean and so all in all no complaints. A night market is within walking distance and other night life is available if you go in search of a beer but you'll need a short taxi ride costing about 60 baht! The breakfast of eggs, toast, marmalade and biscuits was adequate and really, for the price paid, breakfast was a bonus! I would recommend Nuchjaree Place and can say I enjoyed my few days stay there.

Good location, good price, a good night's sleep”

Nuchjaree Place is off Na Mueang, a main road, so it's quiet, but it's near a Lotus Tesco, a Seven-Eleven, a coffee shop called Times Square which also has excellent ice-cream, and there's plenty of street food. It's also near the lake, which is pleasant. The staff has some English, but they're kind and efficient; room is cleaned daily, water is free, they did laundry for me.

Great value ”

Nuchjaree is fantastic value. A/c, Fridge, TV, spacious and clean room which is serviced daily. Breakfast included in cost and free bottled water each day. Friendly staff. Close to good food and 3 mins stroll to the lake.

Perfectly fine budget hotel”

This hotel is an older building and the room is somewhat dated and could use a paint job. But that rarely seems to get done in these cheaper places. The bed was good. The room and bathroom were adequately cleaned. No pests. The staff that I encountered were pleasant and spoke some English. Breakfast was toast and coffee. I had some problems finding the building with google maps and wound getting help from a man up the road. It’s on a lane off the busy street. Allow yourself some daylight to find it. Just down the street is the lakefront where I found a Saturday market with some great food at really reasonable prices. Some advice on the hot water. Many of these on demand heaters are under powered. For more heat, turn down the flow.

Better than average value”

Very convenient and comfortable. Exceptional value: Places in this price range don't usually offer free coffee and toast in the morning. Also, beverages stocked in the room are priced as low as neighborhood shops.

Comfortable stay for good value”

Very comfortable stay. The room was spacious and cleaned daily. Refrigerator, TV, AC, and wifi included, and all worked well. Free water provided each day. Large bathroom. Balcony area. Short walk to cafe, shopping mall, the lake. Very good value. Staff helped us arrange bus tickets to our next destination. Would recommend staying here.

Nice stay”

Our room was very clean, sheets were changed every day and new towels provided. Staff was friendly and helpful. Asked for an extra bed after showing up at 2 am, given a mattress on the floor and blankets and pillows. Charged 100 baht extra per night for the mattress, very fair price. Good place to stay, song tows run often. Lots of good food nearby

Great place”

Really big rooms, clean, cheap & location is good. Night market is less than 10 minutes walk & there are a few temples within walking distance also. I wasn't into the breakfast they offered but apart from that it was a really good place. Would stay again.

It got better”

Arrived just after 6pm after a long journey, the receptionist turned out to be the security guy, sitting in his little hut in the car park. After taking an age to find names, finally, after a phone call, he gave us the key to our room. After a while he came back to give us the key to the room we had been allocated. After that everything was good, the best night's sleep we've had for a long time. I am not sure about the definition of 'breakfast', if it is toast with butter and jam, plus some small bisquits, then we did have breakfast. All things considered it was a very pleasant stay. When we are next in the area we will certainly stay there.

there are 2 bottles of free water, fridge. clean room. they clean the room everyday. close to the lake, seven-eleven and main road.

A nice visit to Nongkhai”

Hotel did not have bicycle rentals that were listed.Room needed to be vented .It stunk from moisture build up. No screens on windows. Very clean otherwise. Bed was too hard for me that seems to be the trend all over Thailand. Not many people can speak any English. I found that difficult. Tuk Tuk driver was lost..

Very comfortable bed, with good breakfast, I stayed here for 4 nights, thought a little English were spoken, people here are so nice to me, always show smile on their faces.. highly recommend!!

Value for money”

The room was a decent size, and there was a balcony. I was a bit disappointed though as I thought that it was within walking distance from Central Plaza.
