Poor service and location”

The hotel does not provide telephone in room and in the reception you cannot call outside mobile phone! I asked the reception to give me a morning call, but the call didn't come until half an hour later.

Too far away”

The hotel was too far away and hotel room does not even have a telephone. In the reception, you cannot call mobile phone outside!

Decent location, but overpriced”

Prices in Mongolia can be surprisingly high for tourists and this hotel was a tad too, though this was expected. Location is not as convenient as the hotel or maps suggest (as I like to wander), but taxis are easily available. One issue here was that the taxi service they used tried to cheat us a few times, especially on the outbound trip to the airport that made the great vacation end on a bit of a downer. Otherwise, some of the staff were very good and friendly, others much less so; pretty much reflects the inconsistent quality of this hotel. Local area lacks any interest.

Very overpriced for what the hotel is. ”

Very overpriced for what you get. The hotel is clean but run down. Shower took 15 min to get the hot water. The hotel is in a nigthmare street and it is very difficult to find. Hard to recommend this hotel given the price.

A stopover before going horse riding.”

The hotel room was clean and comfortable. We stayed for a night before moving on to spend a week horse riding with Horse Trails Mongolia. While the rooms are functional, there are no picturesque views, the hotel is in a rather run down area and a little difficult to find. The staff were friendly and more than willing to help with the booking of taxis.

Very helpful and friendly staff”

The best thing about the hotel is the very friendly and helpful staff. Even with our 3 small children, they were always helpful. The staff know some basic English which was enough help to make our travel arrangements. The hotel is a short 7-10 minute taxi ride (depending on traffic) to the center of UB.

below average. it is definitively not worth the money I pay for. With extra $, I think I can get a much better quality hotel in Mongolia.

Not bad for the price paid”

The overall hotel experience ranged from average to not bad. The good things: (1) the room was new, clean and reasonably comfortable for Mongolian standard (this is a Mongolian hotel, dont expect international hotel standards). (2) staff was friendly and helpful, and would cater to your requests as long as they can understand your requests (some dont speak good english). The bad: (i) had quite a bit of trouble connecting to the room WIFI. Even when connected, internet connection was not working late at night. (ii) breakfast was rather basic with toast, eggs done sunny side-up and juice, (iii) hotel seems to be situated in a lower working class area and can get quite noisy at night.

従業員は親切で良かったです。 確かに中心街からやや離れていますが、夜間は大変静かです。 設備については夏場は冷房がかからず、シャワーもお湯がすぐに冷水に変わってしまうことが難点。 ただそれほど気にするレベルではありませんでした。 一番の問題点は、チェックアウト時に覚えの無い請求をされてしまいました。 すぐに苦情を言ったところ、隣の部屋番号の人だっということ…。 また利用して判ったのですが、このホテルは韓国資本でした。

大通りから離れており、非常にアクセス不便”

ウランバートル市内ではタクシーが非常に少なく、危険な白タクも多い。ニューワールドホテルは大通りから離れており、砂ほこりまみれになってホテル入口まで歩かなければならず、非常に不便でした。値段は安いですが、ホテル施設も古く、あまりお勧めではありません。

저렴하지만, 그리 편하지만은 않은 호텔”

우선은 나담기간에 방문했기에 다른 호텔의 예약이 어려운 상황에서 저렴한 숙소의 역활은 충분히 했음 하지만, 호텔이라고 말하기에 매우 민망한 수준이였음. 직원은 친절하였고 조식은 먹을만 하였으나 모든것이 몽골이라는 환경을 감안하여 이야기 되어야 할것임. 돌이켜 생각하면 그 가격에 그곳에 묵는 것은 매우 불합리 했으나, 편안하고 안전한 공항 픽업을 제공(유료) 받을 수 있다는 생각에 그냥 선택했던듯
