Nice Hotel with Great Service and Location”

I went to Koh Chang with my wife. One of our friends suggested Nest Sense Resort to us. So, we decided to stay here for 2 days. The resort is much better than we expected. It is very well designed and the location is quite good. It locates in a more private area of Lonely beach and yet, you can walk outside to see many retails and restaurants. We stay in the Villa which has an outstanding view of the ocean. The room is very clean and has a good internet connection. We also love the interior design. It is very functional and makes us feel very comfortable. We were quite lucky since the weather was very good during our visit. So, we spent most of our day by the infinity pool near the club house. We really like their coffee and tea set. I would personally recommend the pearl jasmine tea set. They also have a small restaurant, which locates in the club house. The breakfast are really exceptional. My wife do love their poached eggs and Greek yogurt. Last but not least, their staffs are very helpful and attentive. They helped us organize our trip to visit Koh Chang attraction and also arrange the transportation. They are very friendly and we do love chatting with them. In short, me and my wife love this resort and would strongly recommend it to anyone

Amazing Nest Sense Resort....we loved this place!”

My wife and I and two of our close friends have just returned from a truly memorable stay at the Nest Sense Resort in Koh Chang. This resort is absolutely perfect and only a 2-3 minute walk from the village centre and 15 minute walk to Lonely beach. It is a perfect base to explore the island and very accessible whether by taxi pick up trucks or motorbikes. The resort itself is stunning and has amazing views out to sea with fantastic sunsets each evening. The rooms are very clean and modern and the infinity pool is great and it really does have a very classy boutique feel to it. Breakfast is very tasty with many options cooked fresh from their menu and the lunch and dinner options are also very good. Happy hour is fantastic here between 4-7pm every day and the cocktails are excellent and so inexpensive. The staff are very, very lovely and we enjoyed spending time getting to know them all and they looked after us so well during our stay. They offer cooking classes at the hotel which are excellent and worth trying if you enjoy Thai food. Overall, I would give this resort a 10 out of 10 and would love to return here in the not too distant future. Stayed January 2016

Great Hideaway”

The Nest Sense is located on the very end of Lonely Beach, if you're coming from the main ferry. One has to go down a small driveway to reach the boutique resort which is situated on a rocky beach next to a jungle forest. The reception and the restaurant have an open atmosphere and a very modern, light toned design. Right after the restaurant comes the infinity pool which is very refreshing, especially since the temperatures are pretty high right now. The pool overlooks the beachfront villas and the rocky beach. We stayed 8 days in Villa 1 and it was wonderful. The room is very spacious and well taken care of. The interiors are kept in a light tone and the wall towards the beach is completely glazed with windows. Most of them can be opened to let the sea breeze in. The shower and the toilet are separated by a wall so both can be used at the same time. The only thing that could be improved is the shower cabin. The paint comes off from the ceiling. But that's just a small detail. There is an additional couch/bed in the room which can be used for a third person or a child if needed. They offer great amenities such as a minibar, TV, a good working AC, an additional fan on the ceiling, a big desk, slippers, bathrobes, a hairdryer and a small bag to keep a phone dry when going to the beach. Although they don't have a real beach, it's no problem to walk a few minutes to Lonely Beach and enjoy the sand there. On the positive side, it keeps the beachfront a lot quieter. We booked our room with breakfast and didn't regret it. They offer a small but delicious choice of à la carte meals. We tried several of the dishes and were never disappointed. I especially want to mention Captain Nat and her breakfast team (June, Ren and all the others). They are all doing an awesome job and made a real difference with their attitude, friendliness and attentiveness. Thanks a lot for your great work. Best private pool villa and view ever ....”

First of all we have to say thank you to the more than friendly and politely people who are working at and for the Nest Sense Resort! This includes the managing staff as well as all the women and men who take care on food and drinks, cleaning the rooms and the pool or taking care on the ground. Whatever you need, they try to help you as soon as possible. We stayed two weeks in the middle pool villa V7 and whenever we had a view (from the bed, out of the room, from the terrasse, out of the private pool but also from the restaurant or the infinity resort pool) ..... it was amazing! Just 18 rooms seems perfect for the resort. Breakfast and other meals as well as the drinks were extremely good. And just 200+ meters to Lonely Beach village with a good choice of restaurants, street kitchens, bars and shops are no work to enjoy the typical Thailand tourist scene. You can also reach two beaches by feet but with motorbike it's much easier.... Thanks!

An incredible stay ”

Our stay at Nest Sense was perfect. The staff could not have done more to ensure our stay was anything but perfect. All of the staff went out of there way to help, serve and ensure we were comfortable. The hotel is situated at the end of lonely beach, therefore we had the luxury of privacy. The small town was only a short walk away. The rooms are situated right by the sea, and the large glass doors and windows allowed for a breaktaking view. The pool is just gorgeous, since there are only 18 rooms you really benefit from the boutique style of the resort. I would recommend the chicken and cashew nuts for dinner, so tasty. We secured the deal through a great price on Agoda too. I can't wait to go back! Remember to rent a moped from the little town near the hotel, only 150b per day!

Next to the private pebble beach is natural rainforest uphill sloped to the beach, where I found a Red-backed sea-eagle nest is on a big tree. Awesome scene from father and mother bird flying from the nest to hunt fishes just at beach front is spectacular. This is the best value in addition to property 4 stars standard. Breakfast is alike home, where you can order various a la carte on menu. Staffs are friendly with extraodinary services mind. Accommodation is superb designed with super privacy and alike home feeling. It is modern classic room with ample light furniture and amendments. The landscape is humble to nature conserving original big trees and sand dune. The owner grew up grass into the landscape and could be reached out just step from the room. I recommend Nest Sense for nature lover not for family with children. You may take just 5 minutes walking from hotel to local market, bars and restaurants.

Superb villas”

We had a superb 4 night stay at The nest sense resort. The resort has lovely simplistic villas, nice spacious rooms which are very tastefully done up with your have your own private verandah and garden. The villa has a complete glass front and all the villas are designed such that you still get a lot of privacy in your own villa. You get the most awesome view from the seaside villas - you see just the rocky beach and the ocean, no other structures. The hotel is thoughtful enough to provide you an umbrella, torch and a beach basket for use. You can also borrow their towels for the beach. The staff are friendly and helpful. The cleaning lady even washed our baby's bottles without being asked to. The breakfast is really good especially the seafood omelette and mango banana pancakes. The pool is small but pretty and you can see a stunning sunset from the poolside. On the downside, in the room, they provide only tea bags, no coffee, milk or sugar. I wish the villas had a bath tub so you can enjoy the amazing view while soaking in the tub. The restaurant closes at 9pm which was a bit too early for us, but there are lots of restaurants nearby. The beach is 5- 10 mins away by bike. I wouldn't walk the distance in the heat.

Fantastic hotel ”

I loved this place! I spent 7 nights over the Christmas holiday here and was really impressed. I was in a deluxe room, which was really spacious with thoughtful touches, like a beach bag and two free bottles of water daily. The views were incredible. The breakfast is really tasty and you can order as much as you'd like. It's also from 6:30-12, so even if you had a late night, you can still grab brekkie. I used the beach shuttle a few times, which was very convenient. The location of Nest Sense is great. It's down like 100 metres from the main road, so near everything in Lonely Beach, but just far enough down that it feels like you're super far. The staff are incredible. So friendly and always willing to help. The restaurant prices are a little high, but I guess you're paying for the convenience factor. I definitely recommend staying here, and don't miss the sunset over the pool -- it's incredible.

Beautiful small resort with very friendly staff”

Nest Sense Resort was our highlight during our Thaland travel - this is a beautiful small resort with an amazing pool, very good breakfast and very very friendly staff. We are already sad to leave this beautiful place and would recommend it to everyone!! Note: the resort is not on the beach but it only takes 15 minutes to walk to lonely beach or you can take the transportation to the beach which the hotel offers at specific times

Best choice for staying at lonely beach area”

I just want to stay at clean and good location for the water activity. But the nest sense hotel provide me more and more and more than I expected. I really didnt expect this condition of rooms and its scenery, considering the price. It might be expensive to backpackers but for the travel who stays in short periods, its best best choice with resonable price of room. The breakfast is really good. its not the buffet food. You can order food like restorants. Stores, pubs, restaurants, clubs were located about 5-10 minute by slow walking distance. If I visit to ko chang again, my choice will be nest sense!!!

Very relaxing stay”

We stayed at Nest Sense for 5 nights. It was a very relaxing stay, staff were brilliant (Bob and his team were very attentive), our room was clean, large and comfortable. Very quiet location at southern end of Lonely Beach, only downside being that the sandy part is at the north end, about a 20-30 minute walk. Even still, it's close enough to the many bars and restaurants but away from the noise of the main drag (which was minimal in low season bit I can imagine it being very loud in high season). The pool was lovely, albeit on the small side' which again was not a problem for us in low season but could be an issue when they're fully booked. The breakfast was AMAZING (special mention to Natt and Savitt who kept the tea flowing!), and the two dinners we had there were delicious. Overall, a fabulous stay, would highly recommend

Scenic, peaceful and elegant ”

Really enjoyed our stay at Nest Sense, one of the best placers we have stayed in South East Asia. The room was stunning as was the view. The personal infinity pool was great- a lovely placer to enjoy cocktails in the evening. The free buffet breakfast was amazing and its close proximity to the Lonely Beach means it is ideally located for those wanting to go out in the evening. There is a gym at the top of the road and a football court where you can play with locals close for those that are interested in keeping fit on their travels.

Nice Hotel at Lonely Beach”

If someone wants to hang out at lonely beach without missing comfort, then The Nest Sense is the place to be. The Staff was very friendly and careful. The villas are really nice, clean and have a great view. It's a pity that the beach is so full of rocks otherwise it would have been perfect. Just a quick tip from us - don't let your sandals on the outside, because the dogs will grab them!!!

Great value if you’re looking for something classy”

We loved nest sense. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the beach but it’s worth it to be away from the crazy backpacker strip. Which is fun but the peace and quiet at nest sense is amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a wide selection and is cooked fresh rather than buffet style. Some of th best croissants we have ever eaten! The infinity pool is divine. Only 4 sun beds but it’s very quiet with not many people and we were there in high season. There are also other lounge type beds back from the pool. The view from our room was stunning and the bungalows modern and well fitted. Definitely worth the extra money. Perfect for our honeymoon.

Recently finished, brand new hotel”

The Nest Sense Resort - a designer boutique beach hotel - was recently finished, although parts of the compound are still in need of a make-up. Even though it is close - walking distance - to all the bars and restaurants at Lonely Beach, the hotel itself is relaxingly calm and tranquil in the evening. The pool is a bit small, but offers stunning views and a nice experience when lit up with slowly changing color hues at night. Staff could be a more attentive, but that might change as soon as the hotel enters the fully complete stage.

Luxury and tranquility”

Our stay was a delightful experience in this newly built and well designed resort. The little village with many quaint eateries is just a few minutes walk away which means one does not have to catch taxis to dine away from the resort. The staff were always most obliging and the rooms very comfortable and spacious. On travelling around Koh Chang and seeing the other resorts we believe we made a very good choice. The absence of a sandy beach did not really bother us as the beautiful infinity pool and deck overlooking the ocean was ample recompense. It is a boutique experience and we loved it.

Great resort”

We were very happy about our stay at Nest Sense. As we see it, there is only two things that should be improved: - the road between the resort and the main road should have lights - the food at the resort's restaurant was mediocre. Luckly, Magic Garden is close (good food!).

Amazing place”

Nest sense had only been open A few days after the COVID shutdown when we arrived. I’ve got to say the place is incredible. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing Place this is it. There is no actual beach, but we had a pool villa, so it didn’t really matter. Our pool was cleaned every other day, and was sparkling!!. The staff are just so nice, and the food delicious!!

Staff was very friendly and willing to help us out a couple of times. Breakfast is really good too. Wifi didn’t work in our room on day one and they went out of their way to fix it. Close to lonely beach, which is gorgeous. A very nice place to stay when on Koh Chang!
