A surprisingly pleasant stay!!”
We went to Tainan over the weekend and the choices were limited when we were booking, so we chose this little inn for our two-night trips. It worked out really well given it’s close to a large university and the vibe is very laid back and chilled. The room is spacious for its value. And the bed is sooooo comfortable, that is definitely on par of a 5-star hotel’s!!! Highly recommended if you are hoping to find a budget stay but wants a good night sleep with a heavenly bed!

except that when we checkin at 3:30, we sit at the lobby for around 1 hour. All the others are quite nice!(but the receptionist gave us a small gift as compensation!) Room is not very big but quite clean! and full of almost all facilities! quite recommendable!

Positives: Bed good, shower good Negatives: No heat, television channels overwhelmingly mainland Chinese, hotel price for a cold dormitory room. If you have no other alternative, staying here certainly won’t kill you, but this place is unremarkable at best.

It’s ok, not great”
Look around Tainan and you will find places with better value. Chose Old School because it stated they had parking on Agoda, but it’s street parking just like most of the accommodations in Tainan. Good: very comfortable bed Not great: no attention to details… found a small tube of toothpaste floating in the WC, no drinking cups and a phone that doesn’t let you know what number to dial for reception. Overrated: the breakfast!?!

Was perfect for us as we stayed one night only in Tainan. As tourist, maybe not the best location. But taxis are easily available. I’m confused about the hotel name... On building & everywhere inside it said “old school” no reference to Nan Fun House. The above two are picky details. The rooms were spotless! The team was excellent! Restricted English but everyone tried super hard to help us etc. Really great!

Great hotel for a weekend stay”
Very nice hotel for a weekend stay. The place appeared to have been recently renovated and is very clean and comfortable. The location is not so convenient, unfortunately. It takes 15 minutes to walk to Tainan TRA Station or to Tainan Park. Longer to the main points of interest in the centre. However the hotel provides bikes free of charge. The staff is polite and incredibly helpful. For breakfast you choose between their meal sets (mainly western type brunch dishes) but they can accommodate dietary restrictions, just make sure to talk to the front desk the night before. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would recommend Nan Fun House.

Two days of accommodation in Nan Fun House Hotel, the staff offered their best to the traveller. Their whole hearted service warmed my heart. For example, the breakfast. Ｉtravelled alone. And they insisted giving me two breakfasts. One eating in and another going out. As for the room, Ｉhave to say the design was just perfect. And the BED, it was five stars! Wonderful! I definitely will come back when I visit Tainan.

I very much enjoyed my stay at Nan Fun House Hotel. Its location was perfect for my purposes (visiting family and relatives). My room was clean and comfortable. All the staff were most welcoming and enthusiastic and always happy to help with anything. The breakfasts were great and there was a good choice. Overall, a great place to stay in Tainan.

We arrived earlier than expected but the staff offered us some tea and snaks and managed to provide us the room quickly. Our room was very clean and nice ! The breakfast is really yummy , you can choose between different options. The hotel provide free bikes to explore for city and it was perfect ! Overall, we had such a nice stay at Nan House hotel !

Great location, amazing breakfast, nice and helpful staffs”
This is my second stay in this hotel, the location is amazing- 5 mins walking to train station. The hotel is clean and well furnished, very modern, cozy and bright. And the breakfast is so delicious and fresh, it's one of the best that I had in a hotel ever(and I had many experience) The only cons I will say is the bed is just too soft, I prefer harder beds personally. But if you enjoy soft beds it will be perfect for you. Recommend this hotel 100% and will stay here again whenever I'm in Tainan!

Top hotel in Tainan”
Awesome hotel 15 minutes by foot from Tainan park bus station and 20 minutes from Tainan train station. Breakfast was really good and the staff helpful. We had a problem with a strange smell in the room, and as soon as we told the reception the problem was solved. Nice furnishing style and super clean rooms. Really recommended!

Would definitely recommend this hotel. It's clean, the interior design is simple yet funky, and staff are nice too. And of course, extremely value for money. Only downside that is that it's at the back of the Tainan train station which is a much quieter side compared to the front of the station. It's also about a 10 to 15 minutes walk to the station, but it's definitely manageable even with a big luggage.

I was deeply impressed by the decor as I stepped into this hotel, located in a central Tainan. The passionate staff always made us feel like at home. The brunch-level breakfast was totally a plus. But the only but not the least point I did really care about was that the sanitation of the room was not up to bar. I could feel a slight coat of dusts on the bed; even worse, when I lifted open the bed cover, there were at least 5 hair (some may be pubic hair), which totally made me feel uncomfortable and lowered my evaluation on this hotel.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very new and very clean. Room equipped with everything 's you'll need for a stay. they have 6 parking lots right in front of the hotel. and if its full (which is very likely to happen) you can park in nearby public parking space and the hotel would pay the fee for you. about 8 mins walk to the main street and train station. Breakfast at the hotel was good as well.
