Pros and cons”
As our room is located on 2nd floor and ground floor is for car parking, it will be inconvenient for family or people who is handicap or lugging heavy luggage. Room is very cold and not warmer. Balcony door was a little shaky and could hear soft banging sound when wind blows. Breakfast is quite pathetic as they send it to your room. But service staff are very friendly and tried their best to help. Location, there is starbucks and some restaurants around. But not easily accessible so we took taxi each time we are out.

Really big toilet”
Yes, I understand this is a motel designed for couple. But I really would like to try once when I realise that most motels in Taiwan are known for their spacious and spectacular design. We travelled this time with rental car, that's why I thought it's perfect time to try motel. I love the easy check-in and the misterious atmosphere there. My kids also felt excited about the garage which directly linked to the room, and the curious thing is : the door without lock ? ? ? By the way, we didn't have any room key. All access control was done by security man at the car park entrance. This is one of interesting experience for us. We opened the door and I could not stop saying : Wah Wah Wah ! A very decent room with decent light effect, bed was big enough for 4 of us. Actually I have learned those comments from other bloggers about the bathroom, I still was suprised by what I saw when I entered the big big Jacuzzi room. Even you can see my photo posted here, but you cannot imagine how your room would look like. Every room has its own design. In the morning, we wanted to share our breakfast in the room, we missed the eating experience at the restaurant. After we ordered our room service, the breakfast set was delivered in a very low profile which we didn't even notice. Later on, we finally found our 2 full set breakfasts ready outside the door. the toilet had a tv with great stereo and theres another one outside. u can choose free video on demand including those r21 ones, careful with kids

Amazing, clean and fun place”
We are an American family with two boys (5yr, <1yr). This motel and its kind are not really designed for children, but it still worked. The baby didn't care, of course, and our 5 year old had a great time in the hot spring tub. The room was clean, well stocked with basic amenities, and CLEAN of any cigarette smoke. I believe smoking has been officially outlawed inside all hotel types. The service included breakfast delivery at the time of our choice (between 8am - 10am); we are vegetarian and they accommodated us. Although this motel is designed for couples, we had a good time. My one suggestion is that they work out a solution so that the exit sign doesn't light up the room like the noon sun. We will return during our next sojourn through Taichung.

Lovely place for couples”
The room was really comfortable and conducive for a quality twosome holiday. Enjoyed the huge jacuzzi and quiet surroundings. Just to note that this was a drive-in style motel and we didn't own a car, so it was quite inaccessible. But staff were really helpful when we needed help to call a cab. Taiwanese style breakfast delivered to your doorstep. Wonderful place for couples!

not what I expected”
1. it's supposed to be a non smoking room, but i could smell of cigarette... 2. i stayed there for a night but it's really not a proper hotel, there was no luggage rack to place our luggage so we had to put our luggage on the floor. 3. i didn't feel that the carpet was very clean. the texture itself was comfy but when u step on it, it's sticky (properly becos of the humidity?) i just don't like the feeling. 4. towels are not enough, they have this beautiful jacuzzi, but there were only 2 standard sets of towels. i expected at least a bath robe is available for a love hotel but they don't. 5. for this price level, i could only stay there for 12 hours. it's expensive. when u compare with some other 5-star hotels (like banya tree in macau), i don't think mulan motel worth your money given u could stay in other hotel longer and enjoy the facilities. one good thing about this motel - u could get your own private garage. it's really a love hotel, so don't expect too much

Amazing experience”
We booked the superior double. The room was huge and the bathroom was about the same size! Bathroom has a really nice bath tub with jets that we used every night. It's a bit pricey because it is a love hotel, but room was worth it for us. The staff was also great. We were asked what time and what type of breakfast we wanted delivered in the morning and it came on the dot.

Very good place for couple”
Receptionists are nice. Since it is a motel, you need to open the garage gate everytime you are going out. Beside the staircase going up to the room may not be convenient for heavy luggage. Breakfast can be delivered to the room in the morning. Nice bath space with rain shower, water feature, spa tub, shower and TV. More suitable for couple.

Awkward but quite an experience”
Wasn't aware what kind of hotel this is, was awkward as business guest but it was a fun experience. The room was massive and nicely done with a huge bathroom with Jacuzzi.

Great value stay and fun for couples.”
The smart TV froze up a few times not long after we checked in. The staff responded quick enough after our report to them. There was some wear and tear throughout the room, but in general they are reasonably well maintained, though we're not sure the bath tub was 100% clean. All in all, it was a comfortable stay.

If you have a car it's good as it's a drive-in/out motel. But there is no lobby and the location is a little bit far from bus station. If you have many lugguages you better get there by a taxi.

First time staying in motel, excellent decoration”
As a HK family, space is a luxury so my family actually screamed when they first entered into the room. A lot of space, excellent design and we all spent a good two hours in the bath room to enjoy the jacuzzi. They also offered a good selection of new movies in a big TV.

Nice hotel, nice people, big room”
I was stayed in this hotel for a short vocation, it was too nice and the room are extra big. Nice staff will help you to call taxi if needed and arrive on your downstairs, highly recommend especially the big big bath room, you wont be disappointed!
