Clean room, nice views, friendly staff ”

We stayed there for 11 days and have no complaints. The room was clean and nicely furnished. The area has plenty of "love hotels" around it but is very safe to walk during night.We walked the area every day and night and never had any problems, the people are very friendly and nice. There are two 7-elevens within walking distance if any supplies are needed. Lotte Mart, bus stations, coffee shops and clothing shops all within walking distance. The staff knows some English and are very helpful. We plan on another trip next year and will stay here again!

Far from downtown Gwangju”

The room and service were OK here, but it really isn't a good location. You'll need to get taxi's everywhere. The surrounding buildings seem to all be epic scale drive-in hotels. The vibe at Midas is a bit weird, although the staff are nice enough. This hotel is way too expensive compared to similar places in Gwangju.

Good hotel”

good hotel with good staff. location is near restaurants, so eating is not a problem. however, far from city centre, and no shopping mall around.

Great hotel in an area with lots of restaurants!”

This was a very nice hotel and I would recommend it to anyone. Though it is a little far from the actual city center, there are many things in the area that are worth checking out, especially the restaurants!

Great Hotel, little way out of Town”

As in the title, this hotel is a short taxi ride out of the centre of town, which although fairly inexpensive, took time which was a bit of a problem at busy times. Unfortunately, could only book 1 night online, so had to change rooms for second night, which I guess was not entirely the hotel's fault. Lovely newish hotel with good facilities. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Good range of restaurants in the area.

Nice rooms, but terrible location”

The location is terrible though... very strange neighbourhood with as Vegas looking hotels and sleezy bars.. Very far from the city and taxi-drivers have a hard time finding it.

A bit remote, not convenient”

Hotel is not located near either the express bus terminal or train station. You need to ask the front desk to call a taxi when you go out.It takes around 20-30min from hotel to express bus terminal and costs from, depending on whether there is any travel congestion. Can't access the wifi in my room. Not every staff can speak English but they are eager to serve you!

Clean and well maintained hotel with good service ”

The hotel is located not too far from Lotte market. Room is clean and comfortable. Staff with limited English while guest with limited Hangul is excellent and willing to do more to make customers happy.

Nice Hotel but way out in suburban area”

This is basically a business hotel in a suburb which is broadly commercial although it has a range of bars, restaurants & karaoke joints. If you would rather be in teh town centre this is unlikely to be your choice. Staff were very helpful.

Fine hotel & staff but bad kication”

Everything fine save for location in that very far from city center. no public transport, taxi drivers dopnt know location; 3 times they got lost in coming from center. Breakfast limited, 7 choices on menu but served only one item

it was a pleasant short stay!. Staff did understood english though not fluent in English. it is close to key university (GIST) and businesses.

acces en taxi depuis le terminal des bus chambre vaste, confortable, equipees Zone silencieuse mais avec nombre de restaurants et grandes enseignes de magasins (Lotte Mart, Mont Bell...)

Hotel confortable”

Les chambres sont spacieuses et bien equipees. Le petit dejeuner doit etre reserve a l'avance, nous ne le savions pas donc nous avons pris le petit dejeuner ailleurs. L'emplacement n'est pas terrible, pas beaucoup d'animation autour de l'hotel, a part quelques restaurants. Ideal pour nuit de passage.

私はお金を払わずチェックアウトできました。カード決済もされていません。その代わり、別の方が私の宿泊代を支払ったそうです。こういう事はあり得るのでしょうか。アゴダは、今後は支払わなくて良いと言われているのですが、他人が私の宿泊費を払ってそれでOKとは思わないのですが…。ホテルに連絡したところ、もうもらったからいいと、信じられない回答がメールできています。これが逆の立場だったら私は許せませんが、アゴダがいいというのだからいいのでしょう。
