Excellent Location, Good Service ”

When ever I am in Mumbai, Meluha is my hotel of choice given that it takes me only 15 minutes to get to my place of work from here. A luxury in Mumbai. What I like about Meluha is their friendly and polite staff, well appointed rooms and strategic location.

Value for Money Hotel ”

Meluha is a value for money hotel. Located in Hiranandani Gardens, Powai, there is never a dull moment in and around this hotel. The breakfast buffet serving is sumptuous with enough healthy options too.

Great place to relax”

Excellent dinner buffet spread on weekend, this hotel is very conveniently located at Powai. A lot of good eating/ shopping options nearby, most offices are conveniently located. This is a great hotel to visit if you have small kids (food options in breakfast/ lunch/ dinner is decent)

Perfect!”

Perfect for business trip. We are not really that fan of Indian cuisine but the breakfast was superb, lots of choices. Location wise, the best in Mumbai. Near the airport, lots of stores nearby, supermarkets, coffee shops. The staffs are very professionals and approachable. Well maintained hotel and we'll probably book here again on our next visit.

Exceptional”

Great hotel, very comfortable and not overpriced like those in South Mumbai. Everything works fine - no complaints at all! Nice, clean, not overcrowded surroundings, shops and restaurants just around the corner. The pool is very small (if you're planning to do laps, like I was!) Overall, would definitely recommend, especially for business travellers.

Good place”

Good location for Powai. Hotel and restaurant neat and well maintained. Leisure centre staff were a little mannerless and unhelpful but a quick phone call to the manager sorted this out quickly.

Many shops and restaurants around the area within walking distance. There is a super market right next door. The service in the hotel in wonderful. Quality of food is also good. Reletively close to the airport. Probably around 1/2 hr. However, on a weekday with the terrible traffic in Mumbai, its best leave an hour ahead.

Mixed reviews”

I booked a suite and was able to get at a very good price on Agoda as compared to other websites. Pros: Good location, cleanliness, staff, food Cons: facilities, equipment Its situated at a great location in Powai, everything you can access at walking distance. The staff is great and helping. Food is amazing. I expected room to be bigger but was average in size. The bed are of queen size which they say as king size. They did provide an extension to bed. Bathroom and bathtub are very very very small and I can't expect a tall person above 6 feet to be comfortable. Some accessories were provided like soap, shampoo, water, milk, coffee but bathrobes, slippers, etc were available on request. No food menu provided in room for in room dining but on request someone will help you with QR code which I expect to be present in every room by default.

Unexpected gem”

Very nice hotel, excellent service, great room (was upgraded to a suite). While the location is far from the centre of Mumbai, the neighbourhood itself was very pleasant. Highly recommended

Good hotel”

Good hotel located probably at the best area of Mumbai. It is very expensive but as it was my first time in India I think it was worthy to be allocated there in the meantime I was getting more familiar with the environment. If I go back to Mumbai I will probably look for this hotel as my first choice again.

crème de la crème”

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed ever in Bombay! Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff and general manager, our names were mentioned on arrival. We were welcomed with a fruit tray and freshly squeezed juices. Most friendly and helpful receptionist ever (Sharon), so lovely and great first impression of hotel. If nothing else had gone right with hotel this lady ensured I would have left with a good impression. Fortunately everything about the hotel was exceptional, and I don't give praise lightly. It was clean, stylish, roomy with excellent service. Food was beyond good and great value for money and service in both places attentive and efficient. Room itself was well equipped and comfortable. I could go on but suffice it to say I was very pleased with my stay, and although short and sweet this time, I hope to be back for a longer visit in the future.

Exceptional service from all the staff, something that even the 5 stars hotels are lacking, will definitely stay here again the next time i come to Mumbai. Keep it up!!!

5 stars for the hotel staff attitude and front desk handling customer in such a nice way , room upgradation was done on request , staff very humple and takes very good care , buffet was nice so is the nearby market walk , if location suits this is the best hotel in this price and wd recommend , staff well trained to make guests happy , no matter what , thats what the guest needs , keep it up !

Superior hotel to most Indian hotels”

I am used to paying top dollar for "5 star" hotels in India and finding that they are not quite as clean as expected and that the staff are below par in terms of performance however I was pleasantly surprised that the Fern had neither of these issues and was a "normal" international 5 star. The fitness centre was way too small and underequipped with weight machines and a/c however it had the requisite cardio equipment. Staff at check in / out were particularly efficient and all were 'naturally' friendly.

No respect for your privacy”

At 12 in the night, the house keeping barges inside my room with the Staff keys and we are sleeping inside even after a DND sign has been activated. Absolutely unacceptable on part of the Hotel. Don't expect such a thing from a 1 star hotel, forget Meluha.... Rest all was fine but this one thing negates it all

Good business hotel”

This is the third time I have stayed at The Fern and as a business hotel its good. The bar and restaurant area are modern and clean though the buffet looks a little tired at times.

Staying to cherish”

My every request was satisfied quickly and professionally. Whatever a solo traveler needs at the hotel and in the room is there, nothing to worry about. The breakfast choice of food was wide, I could hardly taste everything, the staff kindly allowed me to take a couple of food items to my room to taste later. As it was my first stay at this hotel they kindly didn't charge me extra money for late check out and gave me a 500 rupees voucher if I come to stay at this hotel next time. Had an absolutely lovely experience at this place.

Clean & Truly Ecotel”

location is not exactly in business district, but very recommended with green surroundings, lake view and easy to find stores. the staff are very polite, food are superb. also near to Mumbai insitute of technology

Great hotel and excellent staff”

The location Hiranandani is great. The amenities around the hotel, within walking distance, makes this great place to stay. The hotel is secluded from the main road as it has its own boundary and a drive in to the entrance. The welcome at the entrance is warm. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is excellent and gives a great start to the day. The staff in all departments are courteous, helpful and can somehow sense that you need assistance, without being overbearing i.e. almost invisible and yet when you need them they are there for you.

while check-in was smooth , didn't understand why the staff at reception was asking for my credit card and pin details..........hotel confirmed that though I had paid full amount online , they would keep the credit card details/pin so that for any room service or other services availed , it will help them to bill immediately... .....I told that I will not share credit card details and will pay by cash in case I avail any services.. seems they don't trust travellers booked thru online and the way it was asked was not palatable.. ...may be more grooming required for staff or the management
