The swimming pool is nice, but the bed is not comfortable”
Given the fact, that Aranyaprathet does not have too many hotels, we were glad when we found an accommodation with a swimming pool (on the other hand, there are no sunbeds ). The beds, unfortunately, are not comfortable at all. And if you are an international tourist, you might expect some language barrier.

Right next to the 3 main markets in Town ”
STAFF ARE SO HELPFULL The rooms a large and very clean ..The swimming pool is great and so cool.. The Market Hotel is right next to the 3 main market areas less than a 2 minutes walk.. A small supermarket straight over the road..PLUS A 7/11 JUST 5 MINUTES WALK turn right walk to park at traffic lights and ur there.. plus a Tasco in the same street.. Great place to stay very quiet area away from the main truck and traffic road yet not away from the Markets.. and shops.. Rooms regularly cleaned.. room for a car parking .. There is a washing machine or landry mat about 7-9 shops to the left only $30 thai Bart per wash up to 7 kg. A lady across the road who does Ironing too.. Heaps of ATMs in area one straight out front of hotel.. I have stayed here a few times as the rules with no one day visa any more it's a great place to relax for a weekend or a week.. ( If you won't meet real Thai people come on the weekends as it's usually full and you can practice you Thai.. as most don't speak

About right for the price”
Booked the hotel for the location as was staying one night in Aranyaprathet to get the train in the morning. It was easy to flag a tuk tuk in the morning and a short ride to the station. Wasn't expecting anything spectacular for the price but the hotel seemed to be clean and functional, if a little dated. The food in the restaurant was quite good. The staff speak Thai and Khmer but not much English.

Pool a bonus”
We spent 5-6 days there as my daughter was sick after being in Cambodia. The rooms on the left in the double story premises are much better than the single story premises on the right as you look down from the street. There is not much choice in this village and this Motel is certainly better than Garden 1& Garden 2 Hotel but of course they are cheaper! There is a mart and laundry within a 200 metres of this motel on the main road in front. Staff could do with some education on how to deal with Farang but they do okay for a small village!

Great Motel”
The motel is located on the main road, very easily seen in the small town. The night market is a 15min walk away, but just outside the motel (5min) there are some food stalls located around a pond, the local food is nice and there is even a stall selling steak at 59baht but portion is a bit small.

Basic, Comfortable”
The room are basic, a little older a bit of a smell but still comfortable. (Can't complain much. The price is so cheap) The room was clean enough for us. They have a nice pool which we used a lot. Best part of the hotel by far. Easy parking.

Average”
The photo on their website is of a newer building so I cannot speak for the rooms in there. My room was in the older building. Western standard? Sorry but it simply wasn't. The room was clean enough but was in need of renovation. I've stayed in many hotels around Thailand over the years and I'm not too picky but this place I felt should have been either a little better or a little cheaper. 2 English channels on the TV, AC that would wake the dead and I really needed my portable mosquito net. It is well located though.

A very reasonable priced room, a landlady who spoke fluent English and lovely pool

Good room, great pool”
The rooms are spacious, clean and the ones on the second floor are very quiet. The beds are, as everywhere in Thailand, very hard! The garden and pool are very nice, but in the weekend local people can use the pool also, so it can be a bit crowdie with a lot of young Thai kids. The restaurant serves good food at reasonable prices, but the staff speaks almost no English, so ordering food can be a bit difficult! I Stayed here two times now, and certainly will do again.

Run down and unclean”
We paid 1,000 baht for two rooms (no b/fast) - one with a 5 foot queen double + single bed and one with two singles; accommodating 4 adults plus one teenage child and one 6 year old OK - the positives first. It's pretty cheap, well located in the centre of town and the pool is quite nice. Pity they are just running the place into the ground. I can accept basic rooms and facilities but not dirty and falling apart with a surly unwelcoming receptionist. The sheet on my bed was torn. The bathroom in our room was clean below the cleaning staff's eye level but disgusting there on up (accumulated gekko excrement at my eye line while showering). Any redecorating had been done by slapping on paint - everywhere with no spillage clean-up and the things that had fallen into disrepair (the holder for the bum gun and the power socket above my bed) were left broken and hanging. I will not be going back. Others might want to if they can stand that level of care for a cheap price - particularly cheap for fan rooms I noted. After all the basics worked ok - shower aircon and TV. The wifi worked but was glacially slow and I have had problems with wifi most places I have stayed in this town including the higher-rated 'IndoChine'. They had a block of rooms as well as the serried ranks of motel rooms with parking portals out front, which we were given. The block looked modern and may be more tolerable.

A slightly below average hotel in a poor location”
We stayed 1 night. The room was large but dirty in places and had an unpleasant odour. Furniture was old and needed a cost of paint or varnish. The name 'Market Motel' implied close to famous Rong Kluea Market, but the market was over 4km away. I was not expecting 'The Ritz' but was somewhat disappointed. We would not stay there again.

Ok value”
This is a fairly inexpensive hotel to stay in when traveling to/from the border with Cambodia. The room wasn't that clean and had lots of insects. The a/c was cold. The location is near the night market and 7-11 for a meal and snacks. It was fine for a night.

Only 3-4km from the big Ruengklua market on the Thai side of the Cambodian border, so a handy location.

One night at the Market hotel”
Our stay was good. Staff were helpful particularly in the morning when we were needing a tuk tuk to the border crossing. Hotel itself was quiet and had a nice sized pool tucked away at one end of the hotel complex. The rooms were a good size, basic but clean
