One of the best rooftops in Taichung”
We've stayed at this hotel numerous times. The rooftop (with gym, pool, spa facilities and fantastic views of the city and the mountains in the distance) is one of the best in Taichung. This time we got upgraded from a standard room in the older Pin Chen building to a very spacious and comfortable room on the business floor of the newer and more chic Chao Yin building. Big thanks to the welcoming staff for this unexpected "birthday gift" (it happens to be my birthday this month). The buffet breakfast is very good, and the restaurant also serves buffet lunch and (on weekend evenings) buffet dinner. This part of the city is a bit boring except for a nice park 5mn walk away, but the hotel is quite strategically located at equal distances to the airport, the TRA station and the HSR station. By taxi it's easy to go everywhere, and there's also a bus stops at 3mn by foot with buses going to the TRA station, the Fengjia area, etc. All in all, a highly recommendable hotel.

Old and Dusty”
Water leak from the shower in to the dry bathroom area. We asked to change room the next night. Same problem

Rooms are old and very dusty. Staffs are unfriendly and impatient. Shower glass door has green mold and water leak to the floor outside causing the whole bathroom to be wet. Noise leaks from other rooms. The fridge was super noisy. I had to unplug it to sleep. We were unlucky to have very noisy noisy neighbors with screaming kids that kept their doors opened, speaking to each other loudly between the rooms the first and and asked to change rooms, but even after changing we realised noise can still be heard from outside. No toiletries provided. The only good thing is free parking. The hotel is far and out of the way, if you depend on public transportation.

During this journey, I've stayed in 3 hotels(City resort, Maison, Tampus) And this hotel has most affordable price with friend workers and room condition. Highly recommend to stay here. But don't use laundry service. It's expensive and you can also do self laundry that hotel provide on roof top floor.

Maison de Chine”
Built in 2009, it is a very new building that's value for money. My single room was as large as any other hotel's room for 4. There is a great variety for breakfast that is sure to suit most taste buds. The staff are friendly and amiable, ready to help you with your needs as best as they can. Although the location is a little out, far from the buzz of the city and the shopping district, that can be easily overcome with a cab that the hotel staff will happily call for you. I enjoyed my stay there immensely; it was very comfortable. Good for a relaxed stay or even for business functions.

One of the best rooftop spas in Taichung”
This is one of my favorite hotels in Taichung. The room was spacious and comfortable, although the decor was a bit old. The buffet breakfast is excellent. What I liked most was the rooftop gym, pool and spa -- a really nice place to relax and soak in city views, plus there were very few people using the place.

Business Hotel with good service”
we arrived late after 8pm to check into the hotel and the check-in procedure was done quick by the reception staff. thus, we were able to get our things into our room and went down for our dinner. room was of resonable size and comfortable. the chinese restaurant downstairs was of good standards and the food was good. the price was resonable too. in terms of location, it was a bit further from the centre of taichung but we were on business and so that was not important for us. the location of the hotel was good as away from the main road and so the atmosphere was quiet for us to get good sleep at night.

This is a good hotel. The facilities are fine and the staffs are kind. However, the location is away from Taichung attractions. It's better that you have some transportation arrangements (car, taxi) before staying in this hotel. If you can solve the transportation issues, this hotel will be a great place to stay.

Even there is a small play ground with slide. Only the pool is in another building, need to cross a road, a bit not that convenient. But not big deal.

when I arrived at the hotel at 10:00PM, the account is full of customers. The servicer gives me a good tea when I am waiting the next service. I like the feeling the enviroment. Checking out at 9:00am. The servicer said see you next time. I will stay the hotel the next time.

It has two buildings, old and new. The low prices offered on the site were located in the old building. So...don't expect too much! But the breakfast is quite good at this price.

Decent accomodation”
Room size was good. Adequate security. Decently clean (room makeup available on daily basis but they randomly vacuum the carpet each time). Almost a single lane rope pool, kids play area is relatively small but alright. Wide variety of buffet breakfast. Hotel is located pretty deserted, so not recommended if you are the type that needs to grab stuffs on a regular basis. Overall, a decent stay.
