Everything is great but location! Breakfast is same as 5 stars' choice. The best part is "there are two doors in this room"!! I did not listen any noise from outside. Besides, toilet, shower room and bathtub are separated, if 2 or 3 people stay together, no one need to wait. Strong recommend to stay in Masion de Chine, you wont be disappointed.

We had a family room and found a tent,toys even baby bath things for our kids.Thank you for these gifts! I so appreciate them all. We booked with breakfast and found your vegetables delicious yummy pumpkin,orange greens and all wrapped up with French toast and a delicious cup of Assam tea. Thank you for being a Muslim friendly hotel. We celebrated our Eid today and waking up and having a nice breakfast was lovely. Thank you !!!!

Old and odd design, toilet is old style without an electric toilet seat, basin is old and low, if you are tall you wouldn’t feel easy to wash and brush teeth. Location is far in the remote area. Not easy to go around if you don’t have transportation. It is budget and value, for standard 4 star well it’s not like 4 star

Worst hotel experience in 20 years”
Adjacent room's cigarette smoke was coming into our room. Hotel staff refused to do anything about it, and made US move rooms to another floor at midnight, with two small children, already asleep. They refused to ask the guest to leave, refused to call the police, despite it being totally illegal to smoke in hotels in Taiwan, and signs posted everywhere announcing this. In the morning, they still charged us full price, and even refused to give us a complimentary breakfast. The manager also refused to show his/her face at checkout.

Bad service and problem-solving ability”
I will not order the accommodation at this hotel again for the bad service, room status, and problem solving ability with the cost!! I was expecting a nice family trip in Taichung, and heard the Chao Yin building of Maison de Chine is quite new and good, so I reserved it on Agoda.com. Agoda.com has two searching result of Maison de Chine, one is Chao Yin Building, the other is Pin Chen building. Of course, I selected the Chao Yin Building. When I arrived the hotel and expected to have a good rest at Chao Yin building, the receptionist told me my room was on Pin Chen Building!!! (One point of the bad service is their receptionist were passive and didn't serve the guests standing at the front desk !) It's really ridiculous! I thought this was a kind of cheat for the customers! Their receptionist didn't have any action on this mistake and just asked us to accept this result. After my husband fount them again, they apologized for this, but we still need to pay the same money and lived at the wrong building! I was disappointed at their service the problem solving. The room status is bad (there were big broken crack on the bathroom wall and the water boiler was a bit faulty, and the other ridiculous point was the receptionist didn't tell us when was the time for breakfast. After we tried several phones to the front desk, finally someone picked it up. They told my husband they had too many guests so only 1 hour for each room guest for breakfast! (The first time I heard that a 5-star hotel asked the room guest only has 1 hour to eat. And they didn't tell every guest for this.) In sum, I don't recommend at all!

Good value for money”
Even though this hotel is not located near the downtown area, it is still within reach by car or taxi. A one way taxi ride to Fengchia Night market will cost you around NT$160 ~ NT$175. The buffet breakfast was sufficient, but nothing special. In fact, my two teenagers were complaining about the absence of bacon on the menu. What did appeal to my two teenagers (and myself) was the outdoor swimming pool located on the roof of our building. There is also a small but well equipped fitness center; complete with very decent shower facilities. Unfortunately, the staff that is working around the pool/Fitness Canter area, seem to be temps or students with little or no training in customer service. Once we forgot our room card downstairs in our room and couldn't use the elevator without a card. I asked the young man at the service center counter if he could swipe us down with his card. He was busy watching something on his smart phone, sighed, took a while to get up from his chair and slowly walked the 5 steps over to the elevator doors, without once making eye contact or looking away from the screen of his phone. We also used the table tennis and pool table on the 7 th floor. Would I use this hotel again? Probably, but with much lower expectations than the first time.

if you like hotels in the middle of nowhere...”
It was a nice hotel, but just very odd with the breakfast being in a different building. This is a very nice hotel...rooftop pool (not huge, but nice). The only problem is that it's not close to anything. I gave the location a 2 because we found a nice park that was very popular for locals. My daughter loved playing there at night. We had to take expensive taxi rides just to get into the main part of town. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, and I really have no other complaints besides location.

Lovely and luxury hotel . Staff were pleasant in their services. Gotta a free upgrade to executive suite room ...rooms were very spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable to sleep on throughout the night. Location of the hotel were slightly a distance away from malls..but travelling quite easy with the avaliability of taxis

Good value for money. Delicious breakfast and friendly service. I forgot all my money in the safe when I checked out. So when I arrived back in Taoyuan, I phoned the hotel to tell them about this. They immediately sent someone to open the safe and retrieve the content, called me right back and had it delivered to my door by the next morning 9am. I'm forever grateful and will definitely stay here again...my home away from home!

Hotel seems newly renovated, very posh, rooftop swimming pool and gym available, just that location is not very accessible, have to travel in and out by cab as it is in quite a secluded area.

Nice service staff...”
I like the way the staff treat us. The room was spacious at higher floor. The location quite far from town and need to take taxi to go to the train station or high speed rail train. There are small library at the lobby and games room at level 9, this is quite nice. Felt good for everything. Well done.
