"I regret that I booked for 3 nights. Given the price, I expected more. The $10 breakfast was also a disappointment (stale bread, a bowl of cornflakes & muesli, slices of cheese, "anemic" coffee, and very sweet artificial fruit juice). The room felt so cold, the only warm place was under the sheets (good thing there was an electric blanket). A small portable heater was provided but you have to stand within a foot of it to feel its warmth. The ceiling was leaking. The info in the website said there was internet connection in the room but there was none, you have to be in the dining or reception areas (where the temperature was almost freezing) to be able to get wifi signal. Hot shower is not 24 hrs but only for a limited time, and there was no running water at all early in the morning (the explanation was the water freezes due to the low temps, but the other less expensive lodges in the area have either solar or gas-powered water heating system available 24hrs). Over-all it was an uncomfortable and disappointing experience, given the supposed 5-star price they charge guests. The only "saving grace" was the kind, attentive reception staff."
