Great place to explore and relax”

We really loved Longbay Lipe. The accommodation consisted of a good sized balcony with hose at the entrance to wash the sand off, a decent sized fan cooled lobby with fridge, lounger and kettle, a huge bathroom, shower and wardrobe and finally a good sized bedroom with aircon, large bed and bedside lights. The towel decorations were a real wonder and the linen quality was good. Breakfast was served on a terrace overlooking the sea and the nearby island. Just a great place to have break fast. Breakfast itself was usually fresh fruit, toast and egg anyway you wanted it, with tea, coffee and juice. Not a great variety but always good. There were stairs down the small hill directly to a sun-lounging terrace and a virtually private beach. Short walk to the busy parts of Lipe, past the Chill restaurant which is worth more than one evening visit. Best part was the hosts who could not do too much for you, great people, great service. Highly recommend unless you are a party animal.

Lovely stay at Longbay ”

We had a great time at Longbay bungalows. The room is spacious and clean. The area is quiet and 2 minute walk away from Sunset beach, which was our favourite in Lipe. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. We'd definitely stay at Longbay again.

Wonderful View from Longbay Lipe”

I had the best breakfast at Longbay Lipe. They serve Mango, Watermelon and Pineapple fruits, toast of bread and butter. Tea and Coffee. What I like the most is, you can ask for unlimited of Mango. I really love eating Mango. The best part is when I ask "where is Breakfast?" and they reply " Breakfast at the Beach".. WOW! and It is. :) Enjoy the stay and enjoy the view!

Great location!”

Nice spot, very close to Sunset beach. Room had mini fridge for water and beer:) Steps to some fantastic food... Benny’s which is a lovely spot to sit and have a bite late afternoon. Or walk into the busy part of town for some action! Local soccer pitch for entertaining matches and great local food stands nearby. What’s nice about Long Bay Lipe is that you can go into the crazy of the walking street and locals area... and then retreat back to the quiet side. Breakfast is offered, but very simple... no bells and whistles here!

huge room, great breakfast, lovely location, lovely staff, terrible wifi”

title says it all. Koh Lipe is expensive and this is the most I have ever paid for a room anywhere in Thailand and it was not luxury. Wifi connection was appalling. Sunset beach was my favourite beach and the hotel is 1 minute walk but some people might prefer to be nearer to the hustle and bustle of Pattaya Beach and Walking St. Not sure alternatives are better as accommodation is so expensive. Staff were lovely but this really is a small guest house outfit with hotel prices

So much Potential”

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was clean, though being up some very steep stairs, may not appeal to less fit individuals, but there are also downstairs rooms. Aircon good, bathroom OK, but I have to admit a few hairs left in the shower - but easily fixable. No TV and no kettle, but large wooden room and comfortable bed. Long Bay beach is down about 30 steps - Not the best beach, a lot of rocks, but because of this generally quieter the the rest of Lipe - apart from one or 2 private beaches at about 5 times the cost. I think this resort will get better in time - They seemed to be developing the restaurant area - with a lot of new stainless steel fittings arriving during my stay. I pretty much had the place to myself for 5 days - which is a shame because there really is a lot of potential here, away from the crowds of Pattaya beach or sunrise beach. I could have stayed a lot longer - even if the breakfast was eggs toast and fruit!!!!

This accomodation has their private beach which called Long bay Beach. The Beach is not bad are beach chair provided there. Very near to sunset beach. For person who love serenity, here are the best place to stay. I also love the view of restaurant for breakfast. It's amazing for the blue ocean and windy. The room is also very big. When we arrive, they have served us some watermelon. They even gave us fruits to eat at the room after breakfast. They also have prepared mineral water for us. When we checked out, the staff quickly gave us extra mineral water for taking back. Well, it also has some conts, that is the breakfast only served with toast bread and eggs and there is moisquito outside the room at night. Overall, I think this price is very worth for the room.

Ideal hideaway ”

Long Bay is a beautiful small resort with its own little beach where you can snorkel from and lounge by the nearby beach bar and restaurant. They are building their own restaurant at the moment. The main beaches of sunset beach ( less busy ) and Pattaya ( more touristy and busy ) are easily walked to and there are tonnes of taxis about anyway. Highly recommend this place

Hidden Gem ”

Family run resort. A friendly welcomed by the host. They are very attentive and generous to meet our request even though they do not speak much English, we communicate fine . 2 mins walk to the secluded and beautiful sunset beach. Picturesque view from the resort's breakfast place. 10 mins walk to walking street and the busiest pattaya beach or 5mins by taxi (50baht per person). Quieter side of the island. Great for a relaxing vacation. Will definitely return to this beautiful resort again. 泰裔家庭式度假屋。和蔼可亲的老板。 虽然老板英语沟通有限但是他们会尽量配合住客的要求。 步行2分钟到美丽和幽静的日落沙滩，风景如画。吃早餐的地方有观景台。超美滴， 拍照美美哒! 也可以步行10分钟到达繁忙的步行街和芭泰芽沙滩 或者可以打车(岛上的德士) 5分钟 (50泰铢 一人)。个人觉得这个度假屋比较适合享受忧闲生活的旅客。有机会的话，下次会再去入住。

2 night of comfy stay at Longbay”

Not actually facing the beach itself, area not crowded and have stair go to the beach but you can't watch sunset so have to walk to other place. We stay at the bottom, it a bit noisy when people on top walking around. Toilet is very huge, got water heater and towel is prepared. Big fan provided, good for enjoy nature cause no a/c. Morning server english breakfast. Staff can help call taxi if needed.

Went there with a group of friend 10 people. New garden Bangalow with super friendly stuff and super clean. Eventho the Bangalow without fan but at night is was alright in the room and they provide us extra big fan. Few step away from the sunset beach just walking down from the Bangalow to the crystal clear sea water.

We loved staying here. The family that run the resort are super friendly and can't do enough for you. Has the most comfortable beds in Thailand that we have found we brand new air con units and excellent hot water showers. If you have an injury or are no good with stairs- ask for the ground bungalows as the top bungalows have very steep stairs. We would definitely stay here again.

Been there already many times, no need to look for anywhere else on this island, the place is secluded, quiet, near the best beach of the island and the bungalows are really nice and spacious!

Very nice and calm place, overlooking beautiful beach. The best part of our stay was the super friendly and nicest staff we have ever met! They help you with anything, are always smiling a d so kind. It made our stay so special and we didn't wanna leave. Our room had two fans so that was great, room was clean and pretty. Would only recommend this place!! Breakfast was simple but enough for us, with plenty of fresh fruit!

The complex is not totally finished jet, anyway it offers a great location near sunset and sunrise beach. The staff is extremly nice!

Overall I like to stay here, very quiet place. The breakfast is very tasty. We have a lunch in their restaurant, very very delicious n reasonable price (Tom Yum & egg omelette rice). *Should put some bicycle for rent & have a kettle in the room
