Absolutely amazing property ”

We spend three nights there. Absolutely amazing property, the staff very attentive, food very good. Breakfast very diverse. You will not be bored everyday with the same choices. The beach is stunning. We went on moto to see other beaches on Koh Rong and the Long Set is the best beach there. There are plenty of things to do if you like more then beach. Renting a boat for snorkeling or getting a motorbike to drive around the island (resort has their own motos but book early). We had a newlywed couple among us and upon my request their room was made up beautifully with flowers and bottle of sparking wine was awaiting. Thank you management for that. There were few glitches like no water in our room when we arrive but that’s understood because we are on a secluded island. The problems were resolved very quickly. If i could i would give the resort another star. We’ll be definitely going back there.

Lovely, clean hotel located right on the beach”

The nicest affordable hotel located in Koh Rong. I’d read lots of other hostels and hotels had bed bugs so opted to spend the extra on Long Set Resort. I was not disappointed. Lovely clean room with great facilities and picturesque swimming pool. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was very good, comparing it to the breakfast offered by most other hotels in SE Asia. Various hot and cold food options, lovely juice and a chef cooking fresh options in front of you. Located on a really nice quieter beach, about 30 min stroll to the touristy village.

Nice resort, beautiful beach”

Long Set resort is located on a beautiful stretch of beach away from the main “town” of Koh Rong. It is right next to the Long Set pier that some ferry companies service. The staff were nice and accommodating, the beach was clean and beautiful, and the food was great. Only hiccup was a miscommunication between us, the resort, and a taxi driver they hired to take us from Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh, but we were able to work it out. I highly recommend this resort!

Nice Resort, secluded and very comfortable.”

I just stayed 2 nights but really enjoyed it as a relaxing get away attached to a longer Cambodia adventure. Koh Rong is beautiful, more nigh5 life in Koh Rong village but Long Set is better as a secluded beach get away. The beach, pool and restaurant were quite good. The breakfast is buffet style with omelettes and pancakes, french toast and many western style breakfast items and also good chinese style breakfast. I recommend the sea food grill and the Tom Yum soup as best dishes for dinner.

We really enjoyed our stay here at Long Set. Coming from Siem Reap, we knew that the type of room and service we were getting for our money would be less but this resort was great, definitely a four star place. The beach is so much better than the main Koh Touch beach, it's a bit far and white sand, clear blue water. The staff sifts leaves and debris out of the sand, that's how well-maintained it is. There are plentiful cabana chairs and hammocks. The pool is meh. The rooms are small but clean. They might consider putting some more surfaces in there to hold open luggage. There are no TVs. There is 24/7 electricity. The bathrooms are clean, the water is always hot. The restaurant is great - breakfast buffet is amazing and the other meals are good and well-priced, especially considering they have to haul all that food in by boat. The staff was very helpful getting us set up with excursions. The excursions are ok (not hotel run). Spend your time at the resort.

Value For Money Hotel With Private Beach”

Honestly, if you are travelling to Sihanoukville, please do not waste time at Sihanoukville beaches. Though they are nice as well, but not much nicer than the beaches at Koh Rong island. The only reason why I think people may want to stay at beaches of the main land instead of going directly to the islands is that there may be more amenities or restaurants/bars around. However due to the on-going construction by the Chinese and extremely poor road conditions, travelling around Sihnaoukville is near impossible. Then you might as well head straight to Koh Rong island instead. The hotel is in an extremely good location, within walking distance from the pier of Long Set beach. The hotel rooms wasn't all the great but good enough for a basic sleep, though the bed conditions need to be improved, as I find my hotel bed poorly cleaned as its covered with some sand, even before I sleep on it. Other than that, the staffs are extremely helpful and the private beach is fantastic

Later we found out that this was a rarity and sure enough the very next day the water was clean and as beautiful as expected. The resort is still new but very nice, clean, and the food was fantastic! The buffet breakfast was very good and dinner was very good. It is a little difficult to get too but if you inform the resort as to your arrival time at the Koh Rong port they will pick you up! Please do this at least one day in advance of your arrival. The beacjh is beautiful and there are quite a few places that offer excursions on the beach. The port is about a 20 minute walk through the jungle but it was a nice hike! If there are any issues it is with the seals on the doors - not very good and a lot of pesky fruit flies and the hot water can be very very hot! The staff were fantastic and helped make all the arrangements for us! Overall a great stay!

Peaceful resort”

Clean & peaceful resort. Great foods with affordable prices (prices same same at the mid range restaurants in Siem Reap). Staffs were kind and assist us very well. Clean & nice pool. Daily maintenance of the garden is a plus. They have motorbike rental & kayaks. Anniversary complimentary was given to us as requested (bed decoration & champagne). Room size is big enough with comfortable bed but only 2 pillows. TV has few english channels. There's fridge, beach basket, umbrella, and complete toiletries. We love eating in the room while watching movie but there's no telephone so we always have to go out to the restaurant to order, though it's just few steps away from our room but it's still kinda hassle for us since we were there to rest & just lay in the bed all day. Pool is only until at 8PM. Massage is until 7PM. So nothing else to do at night after those times unless you walk through the jungle at night to go to famous koh toch. Still a great Anniversary getaway from busy city.

Excellent”

Nice hotel in a clean sandt beach. I stayed 2 nights. The room was very clean and tidy. I was surprised when they did not clean my room the next day. For this price the room should be cleaner daily in my opinion. Their restaurant menu is limited though it is in my opinion the Best in that part of Koh Rong. The timing of the Bouts when departing that part of the Island is very inaccurate. They can tell the boat will pick you up at 11 am but the boat actually come at 1 pm. Be ready for that. The staff are friendly and helpful. Yes I recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Best place to stay at 4K Beach”

We stayed for 3 nights at Long Set Beach Resort and felt very comfortable with the cleaniness of the room, the breakfast buffet, the nice pool area, very good service and the free pick up and return service with the Resort speedboat to Koh Tui Pier. We enjoyed our time here and would come back!

Best hotel on 4K beach ”

Great customer service, pick up to and from 4K pier, arranged free speed boat to koh toch, carried our bags, let us check out late (because they had no other bookings). Breakfast was good and varied the usual egg station, bacon, pancakes. Powder white sand beach with private sun beds. It is expensive in comparison to other resorts so maybe not backpacker destination but great for families and couples.

Convenient and good”

The location is very convenient in Koh Rong! The resort is humble, but compared to the neighbors hostels and tents hotels, it was was very comfortable and good. The beach is simply amazing. And all their stuff was super friendly and helpful organizing our trips in and out of the property! Recommended!!!

The best resort in Koh Rong”

We loved it! Staff sooo freindly and helpful, resort beautiful and accomodating. Loved every minute of staying in it. The only issue if you want to get to Koh Toh for the night, the water was and you have to cross the river in order to reach it. But even that was fun. So will be back next year, please fix the bridge if it's possible... The only request. Thanks for the beautiful time on the island. Forgot to mention, the cocktails are the best as well ! :))

Positives: location - on the beach, which was very clean (staff was continuously cleaning resort beach front) lots of sun beds (and towels provided by resort) nice and clean resort restaurant, but mainly western food (negative) garden pool with sun beds (pool could though face the beach/ocean) spacious and clean room small fridge in room staff very kind and helpful 30 mins walk to local "city" Koh Touch village Negatives: no outdoor/garden furniture outside the rooms (except for a concrete bench) very dim lights inside the room and no reading/night lamp beside the beds

Overall good value, wonderful location”

Great location on Long Set Beach. Good (not great) in many areas. Nice staff (attentive most of the time), Nice atmosphere, and facilities (needs more attention). Cons: Up keeping needs more attention. Also, food was okay. Overall, I would recommend if visiting Koh Rong.

I really enjoy the stay there. Actually, I feel the staff is not really welcoming the local guest (Feel abit sad tho.). They should also renovate the lighting around pool! They also should provide facility such as kayak or even provide regular free island boat tour in a day like some guesthouse and hostel in Koh Rong Sonleum, because the price of the hotel itself is already quite high. Despite all of this, everything is fine and acceptable. Really had good time, thank you!!!

Best holiday in my life”

Me and my husband decided to spend couple of days in this beautiful resort as a part of our honeymoon trip! Staying here was the best decision in all our holiday! The stuff is so helpfully, they decorated our room and served us free champagne and fruits as a present for our honeymoon! Its the best place to stay in Koh Tong without any doubts! Perfectly clean, perfect location, the best personal in the world, makes this resort the best place for your holiday! THANK YOU SO SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING

Best resort on 4K beach”

The resort was the best one along the entire 4K beach. The beach is kept clean by the hotel & no outsiders are allowed in the resort area. The breakfast was good & different everyday. The lunch & dinner food was good too, but the options are limited especially if you're staying for a long period. Room is basic & bathroom is pretty big. There is no TV & phone in the room to call the room service which could be improved. Staff were friendly & helpful. The prices in this hotel are relatively high compared to the others, but you get what you paid for. So all in all, good choice for me :)

Hotel directly on the beach”

We took a ferry from Sihanoukville to Long set Pier. We went off the pier and took to the left, after 200 m you walk into the hotel. We came 12.30 pm and had to wait 45 minutes to get our room. Everything is on ground floor. We got a room fronting the neighbor, no view. The room is nice, not very big, bed is good, fan and ac, nice bathroom with seperate shower. We had dinner at their restaurant yesterday, nice food, not to pricy. Its no kind of entertainment, so after dinner you can take a walk, (pub/restaurantwith disco music some 100m away) or relaxThe breakfast is very nice, lot of options. The hotel is located beachfront, and they have set out sun beds for their hotel guests. The beach is nice and clean, fine sand and lovely sea water.
