The place is really clean and nice to stay for shopping at Padang Besar. Only walking distance from the homestay to Padang Waremart and Arked Niaga. But it is really deserted in the morning and night. Couldnt find any breakfast and dinner nearby. Luckily they provide Maggi in the room :)

A peaceful, simple stay”
You don't come to Padang Besar to stay at a Marriot. So thank goodness I found Loft 3. It's a no frills hotel (no front desk, but everything will be ready for you at the check-in hour). The rooms are very spacious, and air-conditioned. Nearby is the town market and some very good eats (a KFC nearby as well). The staff were incredibly helpful! Ridzuan went the extra mile and helped arrange last minute transportation for me after I found out the border crossing into Thailand was closed (I had to take a ride to Bukit Kayu Hitam). I really appreciate his help. If you find yourself in this town and need to stay the night, Loft 3 is probably your best option.
