Classic, stylish, luxurious, city hotel. The first impression is strange because you enter the hotel in a kind of a lounge before you enter the elevator that leads you to the front desk. But at the same time the decor, gives you a sensation that you entering the 20´s 30´s decades, a kind of old colonial era mixed with a modern style but decently well combined. The rooms are spacious with an amazing view (ask for the rooms with The Bund view). All details were very well studied to give the best comfort, tv on the bath tube, a chair beside the window so that you can contemplate the view. Actually nothing to complain about, the staff always ready to help you including a room service robot, the breakfast was perfect, this is a place to return.

Wow! A magical location”
This hotel is directly situated on the Bund. Step across the road and you are at the ferry terminal. Fantastic views day and night from the bath tub. Extremely clean. Even a fresh lemon for your gin and tonic. The staff on the front counter could not have been more welcoming and helpful. They spoke spoke really good english. A welcome complimentary drink from 5.30pm gave a birds eye view of the Bund at night. Excellent breakfast. Lots of choices and lovely staff. No metro station that close but it didnt matter as was a short stroll along the waterfront to najing street or the other way to yu garden the temple area.

Very satisfied with reception are so helpful, great view”
The view in our room was super best! We enjoy every night with the night view of the bund ! First we enter the hotel but the concierge staff was not so helpful , they didn’t help us carry our luggage, but when I reach reception and tell them, they apologize and help me send my luggage to my room! All the reception and staff at level 3 lobby was so kind and helpful! Will definitely come back to this hotel if I back to Shang Hai! Overall I have a comfort stay in this hotel ! Will recommend to my friend and relative!

Amazing stay at Les Suites Orient”
This hotel offers superb service, location and accommodation in reasonable price. Front desk, cleaning, room service staff were all very kind and helpful. Room view absolutely fabulous with the Bund and Pudong view. Room was a bit old (few scratches on furnitures here and there) but nothing problematic and was cleaned very well. Did not smell like cigarettes at all, which can be a common problem in a few hotels in the region. Breakfast was very tasty with various dishes served in buffet. Lounge and Tini hour was also enjoyable. Overall a great hotel and I would stay here again anytime.

All pros *Breakfast was superb. All cuisines catered for. *Privacy - we were in room 1501 and it was so quiet, no noise from other rooms or cleaning staff in the corridors. It was an oasis. *Staff very helpful. Some spoke English and if they didn’t they found someone who did. *Free tea and coffee throughout the day and a free wine in the evening were a bonus - especially as wine is expensive in China * Layout of hotel gave quiet corners, no vast noisy dining areas even tho hotel was full.

Great location with view of The Bund and Huangpu River”
I had the best time this second visit to Shanghai, by staying at Les Suites Bund Hotel, we, as a group of 10 were able to walk to the best shopping, dining and of course the Bund, including an unforgettable Huangpu River Evening Cruise. Staff were outstanding, very helpful in suggestion local cuisine or calling for a cab, etc. I had a room facing the Bund and loved every moment of the stay. Enjoyed the East/West style breakfast, they also offer free coffee and cookies at the lounge and evening cocktail as well if you happened to be staying in. All in all, it's a great place to stay, especially I scored a room with view of the River and the Bund. Highly recommended! Happy Travel!!

Great stay on The Bund!”
Absolutely enjoyed our stay here, great location by the Bund. Architecture of the hotel is gorgeous, truly a class of its own! Interior of our room is great, very hygienic. Warm toilet seats, warm bed, good heating. I love the hotel breakfast, a good taste of west and east combination. Great customer service from Mr Mark Wang who helped us in every recommendation of local foods and direction of the city. Yu Garden is only a 10mins walk from the hotel. Great stretch of path to run or walk on the Bund. Awesome view of Shanghai CBD. Overall, we really love this hotel and it feels like home! Keep up the good work!

Beautiful boutique hotel on the Bund”
Lovely hotel with beautiful interiors and a very accommodating staff. Got a twin room with Bund/ river view and it exceeded my expectations! Spacious and comfortable, with an amazing view. Loved the breakfast as well. The hotel is full of picturesque details., I only regret that I didn't have more time to photograph them.

Great location with view and accessibility to everything”
Hotel is strategically located at the bund. Just need to cross a road to the bund for morning jog or evening stroll. Downstairs the hotel, we have Jay Chou’s bubble tea - Machi Machi! Convenience store behind the hotel and local shanghai restaurants too. 10mins walk to Nanjing Pedestrain street shopping, to popular Bar Rouge, Mr and Mrs Bund, POP America restaurant and so much more! Hotel run simple errands with a robot! Simply love techy stuff. In room music was nice too. Please to be home nightly to this hotel. Will definitely choose this hotel the next time I return to shanghai

Me and my family had.a wonderful stay! The location couldn't be better, right on the bund! The staff are very helpful. They looked after our luggages after to arrived early. They delivered them into our rooms and picked up them again when we checked out. The lounge is really great! The group enjoyed having a couple of tea and hanging together. There was a free cocktail in the everning to get your night started. Breakfast is of the highest quality! 10 out of 10! Will not stay anywhere else when we come back.

Fantastic view and high value of money”
We spent two nights(first and last night of the trip)at the hotel with two different room types. First night we had a standard city view room with two single bed. Massive room size. The other night we had a Shanghai deluxe room which we could see The Bund directly from our room. Of course it cost more (just a little) but definitely worth every penny! Two insignificant down sides were the size of the room was a bit small and the hot water bottle at my room couldn’t stop boiling when water was cooked. Other than that, everything is very satisfying. Would definitely come back again and recommend it to my friends!

Wonderful”
Exceptional quality hotel in a great location. Every detail has been thought of, from helpful concierge, complimentary Happy Hour cocktail, oversize towels. Control all lights, air conditioning and music from your bed. Look out over The Bund as you soak in your tub or watch the built-in TV. Delicious breakfast buffet, and all-day espresso, or tea and cookies available in the internet lounge with complimentary computer. The only frustration was very slow internet, wifi --but this was the case all over China I have found.

Staying here was wonderful choice! Warm welcome from all staffs was so touched. The view from the hotel is so wonderful! You can enjoy the view of the bund in your room. Also you can go Yewon by foot (just 5 min.) and also easily take a walk the bund. Subway stn. is a little bit far from there- so, it’s better to take a taxi. Hotel clerks are very kind to book a taxi for you.

The Les Suite Orient Hotel is on the Bund, and a great location for the $$$. Moreover, the rooms were reasonably priced, and the breakfast very excellent, with a good variety. Finally, the Concierge, Mark Wang, was extremely helpful in getting cabs, and also recommending restaurants, and a very nice, competent person, as well. Best View of the Bund!!!”
You cannot beat the location of this hotel. We had a perfect view of the bund from our room and were able to catch amazing views and the light show. Just across the street is the ticket station for river cruises. It is right next to a bank so it was very easy for us to get cash whenever we needed. A short walk and you are at Yu Gardens for fun shopping and food. It’s a little further walk to the subway though, so we did end up getting taxi’s to go across town. Staff was super helpful, spoke English, and were very professional. Cleaning staff was excellent in filling our requests. Always had our taxis ready for us when needed. The restaurant staff was extremely attentive. Loved the breakfast buffet which had lots of options- pastries, cereal, salad, dim sum, and omelettes made to order. We also ate at the hotel restaurant on the 2nd floor, which was great but had limited options. We passed on the Italian Restaurant on the 23rd floor because it was really really expensive! There is a convenient store very nearby. The room itself was fine. It did have a musty smell but it wasn’t overwhelming. Loved the big soaking tub with the TV, rainfall shower, and English TV channels. Furniture was looking a little dated and older, but again, you’re mainly paying for the view at this hotel. Wifi was the fastest at all of the hotels we stayed at on our trip!

First time in Shanghai”
Location of hotel is great, 2 mins walk to reach the Bund or take the river cruise. See the Shanghai skyline while soaking in the bath especially at night looking at the lights. Breakfast variety is good and varies changes , free Martini and drinks at the lobby every evening. Robin , Mark and their colleagues had make our stay exceptionally pleasant answering any enquiries. Walk around you shall find food for all kind taste buds .

Elegant accomodation in superb location”
I stayed with my wife and two adult sons for 3 nights. We had superb, well appointed rooms with extraordinary views over The Bund to the west side. The nightime building lightshow was enough to make one want to stay in one’s room! We walked everywhere as the hotel’s location was ideal. The included breakfast offered great variety and staff were friendly and efficient. I highly recommend this hotel

Very very nice hotel. They way it has been set up feels intimate and perfect as business hotel at the same time. The whole setting is discretely and cosy. Staff very welcoming and flexible. Very good breakfast with take away options as we had to catch the early train to Beijing. And on top of all that; the amazing!! view on the Bund. Highly recommended!!
