The room wasn't clean, there were stains on the sheets. The guests were very noisy and the koridors were dirty as well. At least the breakfast was okay ,and the staff were nice. But I won't stay there again.

Quite ok hotel, but pricey”
Although quite pricey for the quality, Leonardo Hotel Tiberias is quite ok. The rooms are already quite old, but comfortable. Washroom was mainly new. Lake view was nice. Air-conditioning was working (not self-evident in Tiberias). Hotel breakfast was good for Israel (in many Israeli hotels breakfast is poor in comparison with European or American breakfasts). The location of the hotel is good (ca. 300-400 meters from where the actual city center begins). Staff was helpful. I found most of the complains in the reviews baseless, unless one assumes that Israeli hotels should have the same price-quality ratio as the US or German hotels.

The best part of the hotel is the location, right on the Sea of Galilee (Lake Kinneret). We woke up to a view of the sunrise over the Sea. The staff are, for the most part, very helpful. Nael in particular spent time with us and suggested places to see and things to do. And he makes a darn good cappuccino. Breakfast buffet was okay. Nothing special. The room was okay, too, but if you travel in summer, be aware that the rooms are not air conditioned and guests are warned not to open the windows because of insects. We were there in December when we could open the window and even then it was a bit warm for us. The hotel overall is a bit on the worn side. Elevators a bit clunky, carpet could be replaced.

Beautiful place”
We Loved this hotel especially the staff were very attentive and the hotel is very clean and well maintained we could not have asked for a better property its next to the beach and walking distance to the center the food was very good and varied we liked the way the restaurant was run by Nael and his team it was our best stay in Israel and we will be back.

This hotel does no credit to Leonardo chain”
The stay at Leonardo Hotel Tiberias was probably the worst stay we have encountered. The hotel facilities are outdated apart from the upgraded bathroom. Additionally because of the adjoining new boutique hotel being part of the chain, there was an excellent new pool for guests with good exterior lounges & garden. However the dining room is very very poor and the food quality is at the lower end of the scale. Presentation of the buffet makes ones taste buds go away. Food is displayed unattractively, bowls of products stacked so close together that it is difficult to select without spilling food into an adjoining bowl, and no one seems to care that food spills out onto benches and is not cleaned up. As there is limited staff at hot food area to serve eggs etc everyone pushes in, and lose patience at the inefficiency of dealing with diners. As for the coffee station and drinks stations these areas are poorly staffed and kept clean from sticky spillages. The floor, tables and chairs are dirty and sticky and do not get cleared quickly enough for the numbers of guests it caters for. It is obviously understaffed and poorly supervised and managed. The lifts are old, doors and walls badly scratched and not cleaned, and the button and door controls are so out of date that the lift bangs & shudders as they go up and down. This facility does no credit to the Leonardo Chain as we stayed at their Netanya Hotel and that facility was excellent as were the staff.

Practical but nothing special”
Quite ok hotel, there were no major problems. Staff was friendly and rooms were good. Breakfast was ok (a big selection, but some of the stuff was for lunch: pasta, cream potatoes etc). The hotel is frequented by tour groups. Perhaps the price is a bit too high for the standard what was offered.

Nice and Clean and beautifull view of the Kineret ”
Me and my son stayed here for two days, we waited about half an hour in line to check in. the room was average size, clean and a beautiful view of the river. We liked the location since it is right at the Kineret, and not far from the city center where most restaurants and shopping are. We also liked the idea of going out biking at night, which we really enjoyed. I would recommended this hotel to all.

Nice Hotel, however in a very awkward place and hard to find, lots of construction and no one to ask for help. Rode around for 1 hour at night trying to figure out how to get to Hotel, could see Name on side of Building, but streets did not match with GPS.

Comfortable, quiet, large room pleasantly furnished with big windows overlooking the lake. Friendly and welcoming staff, excellent value for money. I can not find a negative note to counterbalance.

The hotel was just across the beach, however, the rooms were outdated and the bathrooms were not clean. The hotel elevator felt unsafe to use and made weird noises. They really need to refurbish the rooms and put in a new elevator!

This was the Holiday Inn of Leonardo hotels. We have stayed in these hotels in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Netanya at etc. etc. We are a group of 13. Not again.

Central location within walking distance to the Kinneret; breakfast plentiful. Front desk staff efficient but not friendly or especially helpful. Don't look up and say hello. Did not have a map of local area.
