Lovely hotel with great staff”

Atmosphere, staff, service

I had a great stay at Le Bungalow. I loved the rustic charm of the building, and was very comfortable during my stay. The traditional decor added to the cozy atmosphere, and the view of the river from the terrace was a great start to the morning. The staff is fantastic and were incredibly helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

Not Worth th Money”

The comfy chair on the front porch overlooking the river. That's the only thing!

This hotel is horrible. There are many other places in Kratie that are a fraction of the price. This is the most expensive hotel in Kratie. The wifi didn't work. I was told breakfast was at 7:00. I came down and 8:00 and was told they hadn't returned from the market yet so I would have to wait. I never ate breakfast once there. A huge gust of wind blew a tile off the roof or something, I'm not sure. After that, there was a hole in the ceiling in my room. I had to ask them to change my room. They did. Water in bathroom wouldn't drain after a shower, Le Bungalow was a total waste of money.

fair room , fair location and fairly overpriced”

warm welcome , clean room , shared balcony

For a semi-sealed room {air-co wise } , no fridge , no tea/coffee ,a shared balcony, and a bed that was falling apart , this establishment is grossly overpriced !! It makes you wonder how the star rating works?

Great hotel, but terrible service”

Clean and spacious. Lovely decorating.

Lovely hotel, beautiful room, but unfortunately terrible service. We had trouble communicating with the manager. He seemed either not to understand us or was not inclined to. Either way, not good for a Boutique Hotel that focusses on tourists and prides itself as an oasis in provincial Cambodia. The food was soso and we wondered how the cook was going to make a passable Boeuf Bourgignon (0ffered on the menu!) if she cannot even get a muesli, a sandwich or a pizza right.

Loveley Hotel, excellent service and food”

beautiful rooms, nice stuff, excellent food

We stayed there for two nights - and enjoyed being there. One may argue about cost-performance, however they really put some effort that makes "Le Bungalow" different to the Khmer standard hotels in the neighborhood (that may cost factor 4 or 5 less).

Probably the best choice in Kratie”

Location - Kratie Riverside & Restaurant

Probably the best choice in Kratie, however quite overpriced! Small hotel, just 3 or 4 rooms, right on the Mekong riverside, nice view indeed. Deoration china style, rooms reasonably big, very hard bed. Restaurant quite good with a wide selection - French, Italian, Khmer, staff attentive, delicious Beef Lok Lak, Ideal for a night or two to go Dolphin watching.

Beautifully decorated hotel, bit overpriced though”

Colonial style,beautifull

Le Bungalow looks great and rooms are fine. It Seems that it is run by three young girls who are very nice, but it feels that there is no one responsible.. We were picked up from THE bus by à tuk tukdriver wich was nice surprise. He was sort of part of the staff also (?). Hè was kind but à bit weird and continue offering his services untill it became irritating! And his service was expensive! Breakfast is not included and not cheap either. Although this guesthouse is Very beautifull and th girls running it do their best, we think it is overpriced. It was low season, maybe in busier times things are better.

small hotel in good location but very poor value ”

nice room and shower

This was a very disappointing stay. The food was poor and many things on the menu not available and it was very expensive, the room wasnt cleaned adequately during our stay and the sheets were only changed when we asked. The 2 young staff left in charge were helpful but not up to managing what purports to be a boutique hotel. It was very overpriced. However it could be lovely as it was very quiet and in an authentic Khmer house beautifully done up. It just needed some senior management.
