Although the hotel is under construction, they notified us in advanced (before the free cancellation ends) and being patient of taking care of our concerns. However, the matresses were the japanese one which were a bit hard and hurting my parents' backs. We booked a room for a party of 3, so people who are thinking about booking this type of room may consider your situation.

Located in city centre. There are quite a lot of tourist attractions around the hotel. Also, train station is only 15mins walk from the hotel! The attitude of the staff is nice. The room is spacious with a balcony and I can’t believe I can get such a spacious room with this price! But one thing can be improved is that maintenance work is undergoing in the hotel. There may have some noises during the daytime.

Very good location”
Love this hotel and close to most sightseeing spots and famous eateries. Also, very popular bakery is just close by and it’s pretty good! Walkable from the Tainan station. Hotel is old and facilities are not updated much. AC doesn’t work properly. However hotel stuff are very professional and some of them speak decent Japanese.

Unfriendly staff , don’t be deceived by the pictures”
We stayed in the hotel from thur till Sunday Parking car was Super difficult even tho we came back to the hotel around 8pm. The hotel selectively allow expensive car park in front of their lobby rather then our normal Toyota. Inside the bathroom under the sink, these a very old shaver which even hv spider web, yet nobody bother to clean it. Bed was Super hard it’s more like sleeping on a plank. The cupboard by the side of the dress was filled with dust on the very top shelve. Overall the room was very spacious. For someone whose not picky on room can consider.

The facility is very old and basic, some of the floors are under renovation and started very early in the morning. Although it is quite close to some of the tourist attractions and easy to get some food, but I will not stay there again if I will travel to Tainan again.

A girl at the desk was very rude at check in. She started shouting me for no reason. I had to remind her to cool it, and later she apologized. Anyone could have a bad day, but not this way. Made the rest of my stay unpleasant.

Bad staff. At check in, 3 o4 peopl were there but only one checkin at a time. The other staff just stand around watching. Not sure why they need so many people at the desk if they can only do 1 check at a time.

Very comfortable hotel with excellent service ”
We arrived Tainan at about 8.30 in the night, after a five hour train ride from Hualien.If you are travelling light, walking to La Plaza would be a fifteen mins journey.Do not attempt if you have loads of luggage! When we checked in at the hotel, the staff was greeting us with a big smile.I asked her about the self service laundry room, she promptly answered all my questions and even asked if I had enough coins and detergent.Breakfast the next morning was good, Mum liked the congee with the side condiments.Good location, theres a wet market and a little street shopping too. The hotel room was comfortable size, there were four adults and an average height of 170cm.Enough space for luggages n room to move.Everyone was friendly and we would definitely be back again!!
