Loved eveything at Kunang Kunang, the facility, food, pool, view and service were all a A plus. Turelly enjoyed my stay there. Location is also ok, quiet from the busy beach, about 10 mins ride to Cenang mall, easy to call taxi using Grab.

We stayed at Kunang Kunang with our two daughters(6&4) for 6 nights and all of us had a great time. Staying in one of this stilishly furnished traditional villas is a very unique experience. The floating pool inside a beautiful lotus pond is something you won't find anywhere else. We had a hard time getting the girls out of it. The food in the restaurant is more than delicious (also for vegetarians). We went there everyday for lunch or dinner(or both;-)). What made our stay perfect was the extremely kind and helpful stuff at Kunang Kunang. Thanks!

A hidden gem”
We’ve been to Langkawi many times and stayed in many 5 star hotels, but none were as amazing as this gem. Hidden amongst paddy fields and lots of greenery are 15 heritage kampung houses, carefully restored, disassembled, and transported from various parts of Malaysia to their permanent home here. Although antiques, each villa is tastefully furnished, comfortable, and equipped with modern amenities. There’s a floating swimming pool in the middle of a lily pond, it’s the perfect place to relax after a long day touring the island. All staff were extremely friendly, and they went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable. Every morning we were served a hearty Malaysian breakfast while watching the sunrise across the paddy fields. They have onsite parking and security is good. It is close to the airport so some noise from airplanes is to be expected, and there are mosquitoes (of course!) but it didn’t bother us too much. We stayed for 2 nights and had an amazing experience, we wish we had found this place sooner. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful villa, clean & spacious. Love the spacious bathroom! Should put more lights at night so we can explore & enjoy the night walk, it’s too dark & a bit creepy. The road to the villa also need improvement. Most amazing is this villa got no mosquitoes at all and the Malay breakfast is so good! Will come back soon!

The best stay in langkawi”
No words to describe my stay at here,from the moment I arrived until the end of the day it was the best place I've ever stayed so far. You should take breakfast and lunch because the food was 100000/10, the workers is super friendly. I brought my parents to this villa and they liked it, it reminds them of their old houses. The view, the pool, the house interior, everything and even the hospitality was top notch. Before check out do buy some souvenir to show some support, their items is handmade. Please do stay at this place, don't think twice you will regret. The place is much more prettier than the photo.

Kunang- Kunang is a gem of a place. We stayed in Teriang and thought it was beautiful. The room was spacious and decorated traditionally. The air con and fans kept the room cool but we were also able to adjust as needed. It was very quiet, the only ‘issue’ we had was when it rained heavily at night as it was noisy on the tin roof. If you are a light sleeper then I would recommend ear plugs. The outdoor bathroom was beautiful with a huge walk in shower and a big wooden bath tub. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, they went above and beyond to help make our stay special. We stayed for 11 nights and found the breakfast choice to be great, lots of Malaysian food as well as an egg station, waffles, cereal, fruit, cakes etc. I’m vegetarian and didn’t struggle to eat of a morning. The pool was stunning and surrounded by wildlife, we enjoyed watching the birds, dragonflies and monitor lizards. Before visiting we saw a few reviews about noise from the airport. We didn’t find it to be noisy and thought it was the same noise level as when we previously stayed in another hotel in Pantai Cenang.

Stayed in Villa Tok Perak with a friend. The whole place was clean, bathroom was very spacious. A great stay in 'old-times' experience and it's far away from the noisy streets. Their floating pool is to die for, beautifully surrounded by lotus flowers and serene to swim in. Staffs were really friendly. Definitely would come again!

We love our stay! We stayed here for 3 nights. A very good kampung style experience. I highly recommend for those who wants to experience authentic heritage experience to stay here. The villa is spacious with each villa have their individual design, name and history. I love the whole concept. It’s clean and well maintained. The owner was around during our stay. Very friendly and such a humble man. Staff are all friendly too. Highly recommended!

Hidden charming villa in the center”
I had have a great time at Kunang Kunang resort, i wish i knew it earlier so I would stay there for whole my trip in Langkawi. If you are the person who like old school, you will love it for sure. Such a cozy and boutique resort. Just a little things which i think if they could improve their hotel will be the spot in area , their breakfast not diversity, but in general i was enjoy my stay here so much. A unique experience”
I’ve always wanted a different experience rather than just the usual hotel experience. And I got it here at Kunang Kunang. Love the kampung concept, reminded me of my hometown. The bathroom is very nice with the wooden tub and open concept. Food was great too, didnt manage to grab their signature lunch but will definitely come back again for that.

The best kampung style vilaa”
I had so much fun staying in this villa. I could feel the vibe of nostalgia when I was a chilehood. The design so iconic and I felt in love with the wooden bath tab and open toilet . It was remembered me when I was in my hometown. The tea time set so delicious. All the dishes superb and tasty. I would recommend you must stay atleast 2 nights here to enjoy the facility and appreciate the environment. Each of the corner of the villa was so instagrammable! And It was pleasure that my room was upgraded to larger villa! Yeah for sure I will come back again. So worth what u paid.

AMAZING EXPERIENCE ”
Wonderful experience with a local Malay village stay. Each villa equipped with modern facility and the floating swimming pool within a lotus pond was built with France technology and it is the only 1 in Malaysia. Each Villa was maintained it original design and the interior is very comfortable and cozy. Within a village you can find a lot of photo shooting spot. It worth every penny.
