"1. Made a trip to Hallstatt in October 2019. Decided to stay 1 night in Lodge am Krippenstein due to its nice interior and scenic view. 2.Informed by the hotel that it is ONLY ACCESSIBLE by cable car. Website provided to us indicated that e last cable ride at the period was 5pm & this was confirmed by a staff at e tourist info centre. 3.We arrived at the mountain station @ 4.40pm but to our surprise, e cable car Op informed us that e last ascending ride was @ 4.30pm. 4.We were desperate & pleaded w them (in e rain) that we had already paid for the hotel & we needed to go up. Tho' e Op did check with e mgr - they still refused & blamed us instead that we should hv arrived earlier tho' we explained. 5.Called the hotel 3 times to help but they nv returned my call. 6.Ops were also prejudiced & threatened to call e police as we were (in desperation) checking out hotels w e car running and said we can do that in China but not there (we r from SG). NOT RECOMMENDED!"
