Old Hotel But Well Managed”

The famous Kiwi Hotel have bought this old ("Grand Hotel") and are keeping it clean. The only downside is that there's literally nothing vegan for breakfast: it's the first hotel EVER that I've not even been able to have a black coffee. My breakfast was literally white rice with soy sauce and black pepper, and fake orange juice. At the moment it's a bit far out of the way, but if and when the new MRT finally opens it will be in a very good location, and I guess they might do it up then. But as it is, if it's a good price and you don't mind the bus ride, it's a decent option.

Exceptional”

Definitely the best hotel I've stayed in for the price I paid for 3 nights. Location wasn't the best, but it was still a short bus ride from Feng Chia night market (busses were free to ride when I was there). The room was spacious with a large TV, a table with 4 seats and loads of floor space, free laundry (self service and free detergent from the friendly reception). Breakfast wasn't amazing but definitely not be a deal breaker for me. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone willing to compromise on the location seeking a suite like room paying budget like prices!

Very good”

It's a bit out of the way from the center of everything, but that should change once the mrt open for business. The hotel room is pretty big although a bit dated, but it does have a very nice bidet in the bathroom. The breakfast is pretty good,it has Chinese breakfast but also coffee and bread with peanut butter and jam. It provides free parking on site and if it's full they will give you a voucher for a paid parking lot a few building away, just a few minutes walk.

Suitable for family members or travel with own transport. Some distance ( about 1-2km ) to feng jia night market. But good thing is quiet environment and value for money.

Nice staff & big room... Good price. Certain room stuffs were old and need to improve or change. Location is little bit far from attractions.

Over all ok for the room, simple breakfast served, quiet area and need to call Uber or taxi if need to go night market or others tourist spots. Quite far to walk especially with young kids. Nothing much around the hotel.

the MRT not working yet”

Hotel is alright , clean and tidy but still smell a bit smoking before. Location not good enough as the MRT not running yet.

The room had a very strong cigarette smell. We tried to have the room changed but were informed that the hotel was fully booked so we were stuck in the stinky room with small kids! However, receptionist used a machine to try to remove the smoke smell. After that, the room smelled weird...

Lovely Hotel and good service”

The family room is big. The only complaint is that the window is sealed and cant be opened. As such cannot view outside scenery. The staffs who are manning the reception are very helpful and provide very good service.

But, if need to go night market or other famous spot, it is better to have car since the walking distance is quite long.

Lovely hotel & service with a smile”

We arrived late at night after 11pm the receptionist let us check in quickly without delay. The trible room was big enough and the breakfast was Ok. Unless you rent a car to continue your trip, otherwise there is no public transport nearby.

Located near the metro station & easily accessible. Hotel room was big, clean & comfortable. Toilet came with bidet attachment, which was a plus point. Staff were friendly and hospitable. Really enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!
