A Generous Space for Children, a Time of Warmth”
When a child is born, we plan our trips according to the child's eye level and look for a generous space for the child. Considering all the conditions such as excluding the no-kids zone, the presence of a swimming pool and outdoor playground, hygiene of the kids' cafe, and breakfast, we chose Kensington Hotel. First, there are facilities and equipment for children placed throughout the hotel, and the staff were all kind and considerate with bright smiles. Second, we were able to conveniently use the indoor and outdoor swimming pools. It was emotionally fulfilling to swim in the middle of the mountains. Third, the famous gardens and landscapes of Kensington Hotel were excellent. We played hide-and-seek with the children in a well-maintained maze park like Jeju Kimnyeong Maze Park, used the forest playground, and caught minnows in the valley. There was even a mini zoo where we could feed the sheep. Fourth, there are two kids' cafes. The staff managed them regularly, and one of them was a free space. The children didn't know what boredom was as they alternated between the two cafes. It was a clean and safe play area. Lastly, the breakfast! The food was delicious and we could eat it freshly made on the spot. There were also many options for children's meals. The best part was that breakfast was divided into two sessions, so we could eat quietly without it being crowded. As we invest time and money into our busy daily lives, the memories from our vacation should be good in order for that time to feel valuable. We chose Kensington Hotel and have no regrets. I hope others have a happy time there as well.

I recommend a healing trip. For families and couples.”
Taebaek, Jeongseon, Gohan, Pyeongchang.... I thought for more than 2 weeks. I also considered other accommodations in Pyeongchang... but I decided on Kensington Hotel because I have had experience using Kensington Hotel frequently. Kensington Hotel has unique charms in each region. 1. Just a relaxing healing trip. Good air and quiet. The accommodation is clean and quiet. 2. Building pleasant memories while walking in the garden... It made the relationship between me and my partner even better. 3. She was very satisfied and even said thank you... It was beyond expectations. 4. The breakfast was quite high quality. It was difficult to have a leisurely meal because the meal time was short, but the staff was friendly and the food was rich, diverse, and very delicious. 5. I bought a watch from LLOYD and I think it's a good product. I also bought a cool gel and it was enjoyable. 6. Enjoyed two cans of beer and a good time at CU. 7. I even met squirrels around and they didn't run away, they were walking around us. I took pictures but I'm disappointed that I can't attach them to the review. 8. I visited Woljeongsa Temple, Jeonnamu Forest Path, and Sangwonsa Temple. 9. I bought a Kensington card for 599,000 won and I'm going to visit again... during Chuseok. Such a beautiful hotel”
The facilities are a bit outdated, but there was no inconvenience in using them, and above all, the garden among the amenities was so beautiful that I felt good throughout my stay and even added an extra night that was not planned. There is also a convenience store open until midnight, so there is no need to go far, and both breakfast and cafe were satisfying. If you visit for sightseeing centered around Woljeongsa, I highly recommend it as the best location. I came with a friend this time, but I definitely want to revisit with my family in May next year.

Amazing Park”
- Amazing park where you can spend hours just walking around with loved ones - Pool was outdated and not worth the money - I cant believe they still use tiny bottled shampoos and wash. Hotels worldwide have shifted to in-room larger bottles of shampoo to be refilled for the environment. That was disappointing

Fun Kids Hotel with Pool, Kids' Room, Kids Cafe, and Animal Farm on Site”
It was a super fun hotel for our toddler. We booked the Paw Paw room so it was so special for her. The room is decorated with Paw Paw characters and her bed was in a nice (not tacky) Paw Paw kids tent. We went swimming at the pool (which is not crowded at all) and came back to our room to find a tray of goodies (cookies, gummy bears, and a macaron). Sleeping was a little uncomfortable for us because we had Ondol (floor) beds. The mattresses were thin so it basically felt like we were sleeping on the hard floor. Also, the room heater/fan is sooo loud. It vibrated and rattled the entire night. The fun continued for us the next day. The breakfast buffet line/wait was so long but worth it. The buffet had way more items than we expected. There were tons of things that I didn't get a chance to try. The best part of all, there is a large sized kids café located next to the buffet. We were conveniently seated so that we could watch our daughter play, as we continued to eat our breakfast.

Beautiful place and service”
It's been a pleasant stay at Kensington PyeongChang. Our family fully enjoyed the garden where we could take a nice walk in the morning and evening times. Though it's an old property, the hotel has a classic mood with large interior spaces. Room conditions were fine but we found a stain in one of our blankets, not a big deal but they should take extra care for the bedding. Overall, staffs tried their best to meet our needs, very much kind couldn't be better :)

Exceeding expectations”
The ratings from customers are not as good as perceived. The hotel rooms are quite up to date, there is a very good restaurant and the surrounding of the hotel is very nice. We know Interconti, Ramada and Holiday Inn in that area, I prefer Kensington with value for money.

20 minutes from Pyeongchang-gun Skiing”
Comfy beds. Room had a bathtub, shower and a larger mini-fridge. Breakfast was delicious and served at three different times to ensure that the food was hot, fresh, and plentiful. The spa was unattended at 7:30 pm so I'm unsure of the extra cost but it was open. There's a huge kids play area for an extra cost as well. Indoor fish pond too. The entire hotel is filled with Olympics memorabilia. Highly recommend this hotel.

PyeongChang is pretty cold city. we stayed just one day, but at night, we can't sleep well coz cold wind comes through the window.

Acceptable”
It was korean national holiday. Our family had dinner in the restaurant. it was over 70dollar per person dinner but what i received was a 1dollar service with 10dollar food. it was a course meal due to corona but i could not receive a full meal. it was all you can eat barbeque but i had to wait 20 minutes to receive anything. we had a corkage but thankfully they did not charge the corkage. the restaurant was in a chaos. the next day we had breakfast and it was worse than the dinner we had last night. it was served with egg scramble, piece of chicken , sausage and some salas. cannot believe that it was a 30 dollar breakfast. the only cooked food was a scrambled eggs. why do they need chef for scrambled eggs? The next day we recieved exactly the same meal. The room was clean. But that was it. Just stay there to sleep dont expect any other services. But for the price we paid, i totally lost my words in that case.

A lovely and enjoyable stay at Kensington Flora”
We are a family of 5 (2 adults & 3 children) that booked 2 family suites in late Dec. The hotel was well decorated to create a festive mood for Christmas. The rooms were clean with a beautiful view that overlooked the garden. The beds were very comfortable. It snowed heavily during our stay there and we had a great time taking photos and playing with the snow. They even had a small animal farm which delighted my kids. We especially want to thank IRENE LEE at the recep who went out of her way to book transport for us to go Yongpyong Ski Resort and other places, there was great follow-up to ensure our requests were carried through. Though taxi fare from Kensington to Yongpyong was about US$30 for a short 10-15 min ride, we got to stay in a hotel with beautiful and tranquil surrounding at good prices so it was well worth the stay. Love the hotel because of the shuttle bus and gardens”
Hotel has shuttle bus to Jinbu which made it very convenient to visit the Trout Festival. The gardens are also very lovely to walk around espeially in the evening when the lights are on.

Good experience in the hotel.”
Kensington Flora Hotel is located very near to Mt. Odae Korea National Park. If you want to consider trekking to the mountain, this hotel would be a perfect choice. The breakfast buffet is quite good, and the French garden is also very quiet and nice place to walk around in the morning. The overall rate is quite good considering the hotel facility and service level (Remember that this is not a first grade hotel, so some facilities may not be at a satisfactory level) The shortcoming is that on Sunday there is a wedding ceremony at the 2nd floor, which may be quite noisy. so that if you need a peaceful Sunday morning, then you need to check other hotels.

Hotel room was very good, and excellent staff with good command of english. Difficult to find shuttle bus and public bus services online, but the front desk have sufficient information. Hotel is difficult to get to without driving. There is free shuttle bus service from Jinbu KTX stn (and also bus terminal), although the timings are not very regular, and ends quite early

Snowboard trip for husband and wife”
Our stay was great. Breakfast was delicious and started serving at 7am, which was good because it is about 25 minutes to get to Drahon Valley ski resort from the hotel, and the first chair goes up the mountain at 0830. We also ate dinner there on Saturday at Cafe Fleuri. Very limited options, as in 3 meals to choose from, but they all looked delicious. The lobby has a really cool setup for the Olympics, including a lot of historical paraphernalia. The hotel is also close to Odae National Park, which houses multiple temples and lots of hiking trails. Overall: great stay for the price, especially if you are driving.

Family ski trip”
Visited for 2 nights and had a good stay. Comfortable room and nice garden to explore even on winter time. Chose Kensington hotel because of peaceful surroundings but close to the ski slopes.
