Amazing stay in Kata tranquil villa”

We spend a week in Kata Tranquil and were very satisfied. We had a lovely room villa 7 in a beautiful garden. The room, kitchen and bath (loved the bath looked like) are very spacious, nice terrace. Very quite place, no street noise (only the frogs little noisy in the night:-). There is a supermarket opened 24 h near Kata Tranquil villa. Staff is really very kind and helpful. The location is ok, not so far from the beach, we have no kids so there was no problem walking distance to the beach (on the way to the beach you can find restaurants, massage saloons, supermarkets, can buy fresh fruit...). But we rent a motorbike in K. T. villa and that was perfect. Then you can go everywhere and will pay fast nothing for gasoline (for example the seafood market with fresh food in the evening in Patong is great, need to visit). The Karon beach is very nice, a lot of restaurants, fresh fruit on promenade. Kata Tranquil, thank you for very nice stay, miss you a lot! Anytime again!

Quiet and peaceful”

My wife and I stayed at their new 3-storey extension block. Lek told us that we were the first customers to use the room. We were in room20 on their top most floor at the end of the corridor. Also, it seemed we were the only ones in that block at the time we were there. They were still doing some final touch-up here and there, but it looks mostly done and well built. The room was excellent because, of course, it's brand new. There were good and clean bed linens. The room has a balcony overlooking the road and some palm trees on the opposite side. There is a medium sized fridge and a kettle but no microwave oven, nor did it have any telephone so I had to go down to the reception instead of calling. The staff was more than happy to help. Although they are not very fluent in english, they are very helpful. They quickly provided hangers upon my request which the room didn't also have. There is a small swimming pool in the "back yard", good to relax at after a long day out. The tiles in the pool make it interesting and colourful, it's got some "chromey" kind of shine. There are two pool side suites as well. There are plenty of good things about Kata Tranquil, but sadly I was bitten by bedbugs, I have bad reactions to their bites. It felt almost impossible to happen since the room and furniture are all new. I couldn't think of other places elsewhere that I could have got it. I could be wrong, I don't know for sure where they were from. Also, the room we got was particularly hot during the day. Every time we came back to our room after a day out, it felt like in an oven, thank fully there is air conditioner to remedy that. It's overall a good experience and stay. It is conveniently located between Karon and Kata beach. A 10-20 minutes walk to Karon beach and slightly more to Kata beach. Lek kindly offered to give us a lift when he saw us on foot going to Kata beach. I think they were heading the opposite way, but made a detour for us.

Exceptional, warm hospitality and beautiful Villa”

I stayed at Kata Tranquil Villa for 5 nights with 4 years son.We really enjoyed our stay. All staffs were very nice, especially lady at the reception was truly generous and caring always with smile on her face. Not only beach but also many restaurants, supermarket, and Kata night market were located within walking distance. Our bungalow have a big terrace with tables, chairs and kitchen. Although I did not cook there, I could have a coffee or tea while enjoying beautiful backyard. In the morning, we had fun at the beach and afternoon time, we enjoyed cool water in the pool. It was a perfect stay indeed.

Great suite room with private jacuzzi!”

We stayed in the suite room, it wasn't clear while booking but the spa bath is in a private jacuzzi room, which was nice surprise! I would definitely recommend booking one of those rooms if you can, definitely worth it. Another great aspect is that they can transfer you to any of the 3 local beaches each day and pick you up. The beaches are Kata, Karon & Kata Noi - our favourite which is quite quiet compared to the others. The drop off service saved us a lot of money. Breakfast was excellent, and for food during the day it's about a 1-2 minute walk to "The Pad Thai Shop" which does amazing street food for 50 baht (about £1.25), or Charm's over the road. The hotel staff were really nice and helpful, we had an amazing relaxing time there and it's a good base to go on day trips from (would recommend Patong Elephant Care). Would stay there again!

Pleasent Hideaway”

Arrived late but received a warm welcome. Small development located above Kata. 4 Hotel rooms and 7 villas located around a beautiful pool and sun area. We were located in the only room without a balcony but were able to use the pool area would of been a problem if we were staying longer than two nights. Very clean hotel with best shower out of 7 rooms we stayed in. Pleasant staff and free transport to Kata or Karon between 8am and 8pm. Would recommend for anyone wanting a peaceful hotel.

Lovely hotel”

We started our tour of Thailand in Kata and booked hotel for 3 nights lovely setting in bungalow style very spacious apartments built on stilts very clean with fan on outside balcony which was a god send as was very hot, lovely pool with modern sun loungers, staff were excellent. Breakfast was good value for money they even opened up extra early as we had a early start, would definatly recommend Kata tranquil and would return, also the best value for money that we stayed in on our travels around Thailand thank you 😊

Excellent hotel for the money”

Kata Tranquil Villa is a very nice botique hotel in Phuket. The hotel was clean and comfortable and conveniently located within walking distance of many restaurants and about a 15 minute walk to the beach area. I would gladly stay here again.

Quiet location between Kata and Karon”

All good about Kata Tranquil Villas. It is NOT a Hotel, but has all the amenities I was looking for and the value for money is superb. Nice, clean rooms - very comfortable beds - TV with 50 channels - Good WiFi - nice small Swimming Pool. The "Villa" is NOT located near the beach, so I advise to rent a motorbike; one advantage though: it is quiet and conveniently between Kata and Karon beaches. I'd definitely stay here again.

We chose the hotel in Phuket on the following parameters : three stars, near a nice beach , cozy and clean room , no street noise. According to the reviews on Agoda such was this hotel . We should recognize that we are in their choice did not disappoint . True, I thought that the distance from the hotel to the beach, which is equal to a straight 700 meters, will be able to pass on the footpaths . On the first day we went that way, but the way we blocked the stone fence . Way through the streets to the beach is not less than a kilometer , and in the first week wife told me that I had to look for a hotel closer to the beach. But in the second week kilometer walk to the beach in the morning and in the evening she was not tired . In addition, almost every day in the morning or after dinner we enjoyed a free transfer to the beach. It should be noted that for those who wish to have in the hotel hot breakfast, lunch and dinner, this hotel is not worth choosing. Personally, we hosted a breakfast of muesli with yogurt, toasts and tea for 99 baht. Hotel is especially suitable for older couples who are not afraid kilometer walk to the beach.

Great hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There's a really nice outdoor pool. The rooms were modern and very clean and well kept. My only issue (and this is small) is that one of the days our rooms weren't made up. Great buffet continental breakfast for only 99 baht. Hotel is in a quiet area up the hill in Kata. But it's only a 15min walk or so the the shops and beach. They do have free transfer to the beach. We didn't use it as we had a car. You MUST go to The Pad Thai Shop on the main road of the Hotel (just past the Ping Pong bar). Amazing Thai food at a ridiculously low price (50 baht).

Relaxing and clean place to stay at”

Had a room in the adjacent block of apartments. Room was on the third and highest level and there were no elevators. However, the room was really clean and looked really new. There was also a spacious balcony accessible through large sliding doors. Room was very insulated from the sunlight outside which makes it great for sleeping in. There is also a pool in the backyard of the hotel and I used it a lot when chilling out with my other travel companions. The location of the villa is pretty good as well as the beach is within walking distance and there is a really good pad Thai shop located on the main road just outside the villa. Given the condition of the facilities and rooms and the location of the villa, this is a value for money place to stay at and I would stay here again if I return to karon/kata.

Pleasant and living up to its name”

It was good, the hotel on its own was very pleasant and tranquil. It is not a villa however, but two separate buildings, with the main wing housing the pool. I was fortunate enough to be given a room in the main wing, with a sliding door that opened to the pool. Being easily accessible and just a short flight of steps away from the main lobby, it was a great room. My friends were in the next building however, on level 3, and they climbed up and down everyday. Staff were not efficient or over friendly, for instance, I asked for a towel in person but never got it until I went back to ask the next day. Could be a language barrier however. No 24 hours staff at your beck and call, at 11pm we wanted to try to get a bottle opened but couldn't find any staff. All in all, the hotel really offers tranquility, but you need to be self-sufficient. Value for money!

Great value”

Location was very convenient located closely to kata beach and various restaurants. Hotel was clean and front desk staff member dee( the guy) really helpful and friendly. Great location if looking to visit big buddha as the road it on has a trail that you can hike.

Stylish, modern, quiet, great pool”

Tucked away up a hill and a little hard to find, but a beautiful space. Great pool, very modern styled rooms. Staff is friendly, although not much in the way of amenities if that's what you prefer. Not near the beach, but rather a fifteen minute walk away. Hotel is tucked away on a hillside and at least while I was there it was a peaceful and shall I say 'tranquil' setting. The owner said she's in the process of adding ten more rooms and a restaurant next door. Loved! This place, but it wouldn't be for everyone as its not near the beach and doesn't restaurant, full staff, etc

Very tranquil”

We actually asked for another villa, but our bathroom was being fixed, so they put us in a much larger one (the Diamond 1 villa), which was a great way to address an unexpected problem. It was great in terms of space for us to spread out, but this new massive villa was on three separate floors, all accessed from outside, including the bathroom. There are a dog and a cat that wander the property freely.

We can say only top, perfect, excellent and superb. This place is awesome, from comfortable beds, breakfast, facilities and everything else. You will feel here like at your home. Staff is incredible, very helpfull., word cannot describe it. They helped us with everything. We reserved for 1 night and stayed for 5 nights. As we also rent apartments back home we know how difficult is to maintain everything and to pleasure guests. That’s why i just want to say it is a shame that this place doesn’t have avarege review of 10.0, because they are doing a perfect job!!
