Just okay for one night”
Near airport which is both good and bad, takes 7 minutes to get to airport but it is difficult to get taxi to/from airport because they are could be unwilling to drive you so close since they would only be paid about 13 yuan each way. It is easy to walk to a nearby supermarket about 5 minutes away. The rooms have a tv, free wifi, hot water heater, 2 tooth brushes with toothpaste, 2 liquid body soap, 2 shampoo, 1 comb, minimal toilet tissue to start, 2 pairs of slippers. There is not a separate enclosed shower area, a shower head with removable handle is located right next to the toilet. The heat turned off during the night and it got very cold although it did turn back on later. The non smoking room smelled like smoke and had an ash tray in it. The springs in bed could be felt through the mattress, the white towels are no longer white but clean. It was difficult to sleep with it being cold and the room smelling like smoke.

Cold - not just the temperature”
Booked and paid for a room with a queen bed because I am rather tall and sleep diagonally, got one with two single beds instead. Nice in retrospect because i had two of the rather thin blankets. 11°C in the room, no heating, warm water only at certain times (evening=yes, morning=no). Checkout time 12:00, people knocking on my door yelling it is time to check out at 11:40. Fees for dirtying the towels and/or the linen made me wonder if they wash them at all. So did the stains on the towels. Reception girl called a taxi and upon my request asked for an approximate price, which was nice. She was wondering why I asked but every "foreigner" who has been to Asia knows. Close to the airport and a busy street. If you are a light sleeper, I suggest asking for a room on the non-street side. Or do not book here at all, which would be my overall suggestion even though it sounds harsh.

Close to the airport, but not again”
- directly located on a main road - very noisy - room was not good (old and a bit dirty) We‘ve had a stop at PEK of about 24 hrs. So we decided to visit the Great Wall and looked for a hotel to get a shower and take a nap. I think there are better alternatives.

It's dirty, uncomfortable and they don't give you even toilet paper, but if you need to stay for one night before an early flight it's perfect. It's cheap and the low hygiene standars are tolerable for some hours

住的是二人间，室内有空调，也有淋浴设备，但是没有通风装置，洗完澡得把洗澡间的门关上。环境还好，不是很差。被子有点不太干净，算了，国内的基本都这样，就不奢求了。服务怎么说呢，我感觉他们像是没培训过就来了，同样的青旅，我在台湾住的比这个好，还比这个便宜，服务态度比这个好了不知道多少倍，主要是什么地方都特别干净。如果是赶飞机，住在这里不错，如果是要有好的体验，那么就算了。
