We really enjoyed our stay at the Jetwing Colombo. It was a last minute booking, 3 days before NYE 2021 as we had booked another hotel via Agoda, and when we arrived with all of our bags, it was a derrolict building that clearly hadn't been open in YEARS. Thanks to Jetwing being such a wonderful place to stay in Colombo, we asked the driver to take us to this Jetwing hotel so we could get some Wi-Fi and research other hotels in the area. The staff were really helpful, and we managed to book a beautiful room for 2 nights here. Food is delicious, the views out over the ocean are just beautiful, and the swimming pool is one of my favourites ever! Such a great place to unwind, relax and watch the sunset over the sea and see the lights of the boats out on the water come alive when it turns dark. The room was lovely, very clean and very comfortable. We ordered room service and it was delicious, with lots of options on th e menu and the staff returning a while after we had ordered to clear it all away so we didn't have dirty plates sitting in the room overnight. Would highly recommend.

We stayed here for 4 nights in March and loved the attention from staff, the peaceful location and the great food and pool. We had the opportunity to see baby turtles being released back into the ocean at night.. a truly amazing sight to see. I’d recommend Jetwing lighthouse to any young family travelling to Galle

Amazing Property”
This place is perfect for a family vacation. Big property, lots of options, though the service was pretty slow outside the main restaurant. Note it was off seas for us (December). Fantastic breakfast and our room had amazing views of the ocean. Great pool and a fantastic spa. Some difficulties with the restaurant staff understanding English and the menu lacks the best of Sri Lankan cuisine so we ate out at the fantastic restaurants in the Old Fort each night.

Jetwing Lighthouse Hotel”
All in all the Lighthouse hotel was more than we expected. The level of service, quality and overall ambience was excellent. We were very well treated. The spa treatments were exceptionally good value. We chose the Lighthouse Hotel, with the need to completely relax following a very hectic six months, this was achieved and we have returned to work completely relaxed. The only downside of the Lighthouse Hotel is that with the exception of a few tours, there is very little to do in the town of Galle. This extends to a limited number of restaurants, most of which where in Galle Fort. We were expecting to have the option of dinning in the surrounding local area to sample and taste local cuisine, unfortunately this was not possible. Apart from this, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Jetwing Lighthouse, and would plan to visit again, probably at the end of a tour of Sri Lanka.

Fantastic hotel with great view and service ”
Jetwing lighthouse was the best hotel we stayed in Srilanka. Although it is expensive for us, the quality, facilitates,service and view are very worth. We booked Delux room and the hotel upgrade it to honeymoon suite with congratulation cake and fruits inside. What superize us most is, the suite covers the whole corner of the floor we were and has another separated door. Our room is surrounded by the sea and swimming pool. The lighthouse is closed to Galle fort, train station and bus station. It serves best breakfast buffet and dinner. The only negative thing is, the sockets are not enough, particularly in the bathroom area.

Spectacular location, lovely rooms, great service”
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Jetwing Lighthouse. Every room has a great view of the Indian Ocean. Walking distance from Galle Fort. Great Spa services. Lovely to relax in the afternoon on a lounger between the pool and the Indian Ocean. A 5 km Tuk Tuk ride to Unawatuna Beach, which is utterly beautiful & a little less wild for swimming than Galle Beach.

Great hotel for families ”
We stayed for 5 nights at Jetwing Lighthouse. We really enjoyed our holiday there. The room and the hotel are beautiful with lovely expansive grounds and many options for food. The staff were so helpful always happy to entertain our children. There are two wonderful pools and the beach along with the rock pools to explore. We would certainly consider coming back. It is in a great location to use as a base to visit Galle but be apart from all the crazy traffic and noise.

Perfect hotel and a perfect stay!”
The Jetwing Lighthouse was an amazing hotel! From the moment we stepped through the door, my partner and I were treated like royalty. The beachfront location was beyond description and the building itself was spectacular. Our room overlooked the pool and the beach and was stunning. I have never slept in a bed so comfortable. The food was delicious, especially the Sri Lankan specialties off the menu (not to be missed!) and Robert Claesson personally made our anniversary unforgettable by giving us a solitary dining table under the stars. Thank you Robert! Our stay was perfect. We have no hesitation in recommending the Jetwing Lighthouse to anyone.

An excellent choice”
Jetwing Lighthouse offers fine views, a good location, well-appointed rooms, many friendly and pleasant employees and an exceptionally good fine dining restaurant: the Cinnamon Room. This is not a place for those who are not reasonably fit because there are lights of stairs to climb everywhere and no lift to use as an alternative. The stairs are not steep and most have decent railings...unfortunately a few have no railings at all which makes them somewhat less good for older visitors. The bathroom is large and excellent with separate tub and shower. The views from our windows and our French doors was spectacular and the sunsets each night made the visit worth it in yet another way. Breakfast is buffet but several items are cooked to order. You can eat inside or out. The pool bar is excellent with Surangha always willing to go out of his way to get you anything you might want. The spa is also excellent with very good reasonably priced massages available.The two swimming pools are delightful to use on a hot day. And the great dining find is the second floor Cinnamon Room with its lovely gracious atmosphere, pleasant waiting staff and excellent food which would be at home in restaurants all over the world. The giant grilled prawns are exquisite! The wine list has some excellent reasonably priced wines. There are some ridiculously expensive ones, too, but you don't need to spend that type of money to have a good wine. It is to be recommended. I do not know why it is not more widely advertised as a good place to dine. All in all, this is an excellent hotel.

we had an amazing tie at Jetwing Lighthouse and it really made our Galle experience so much better, the staff were so friendly and attentive, the General Manager even came to say hi to us during dinner and had chats. This place is luxury but makes people feel right at home.

Great Resort”
It's an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Jetwing Lighthouse. The hotel is located right next to the beach where you can watch the sunset. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is amazing and every meal is a delight. There are two pools in the hotel, a tennis court and a gym which is alway quite vacant as there're just so many things to do!! The Spa is also a plus and their signature treatment "Marma" which includes the traditional Ayuveda massage is something you can't miss. Rooms are new and the balcony is always a great place for reading or just chilling

Beautiful location, and gorgeous room”
We booked the morning we arrived, for a very special price. The hotel is very large and grand, about 10 mins by car/tuk tuk from Galle fort. Our room was ready, and really great. Lovely colonial wooden shutters. The bathroom area was huge, and could be closed off by rolling door. This was needed as the toilet area had a see through glass door, which Had gaps top and bottom. Closing the wooden door gave a huge area though, with bath, and seperate shower area. The best bit for us, was the pool at sunset, right by the beach, swimming as the sun went down. Perfect! We were woken at 4am by a huge procession on the road outside, with loud drum music . Quite fun to watch, and not the hotels fault they came back again at 5am too. So left quite tired. Amazing breakfast buffet , we sat outside looking at the sea. Lovely hotel, not sure we would have the budget at full price, but good at £107 inc taxes! Great deal, thanks Agoda

A brilliant hotel with friendly staff”
We stayed in the Jetwing Lighthouse Hotel for 5 nights and had a fantastic time. The hotel itself is beautiful with spacious resturants, bars and sunbathing areas. The food was great with lots of choice and was inexpensive. We particularly liked the seafood nights where you picked fresh fish to be cooked on a BBQ, it waas delicious. We stayed in a deluxe room which was very clean, spacious and well furnished. The evening turndown service and fresh flowers were lovely touches. Overall, a very relaxing place to stay with great rooms, food and staff - highly recommended!

the hotel located outside of Galle Ford（about 5mins tutu drive）.each room facing towards the sea, which is sooooo amazing, u can fall asleep in the sound of the water hitting the coast,totally relaxing. nice staff,always say hi n smile at u from the bottom of their hearts.clean,neat room with kingsize bed...everything just so wonderful back in the JW lighthouse. if i ever go to Sri lanka again,i'll definitely choose Jet Wing again! the power of the sea”
Galle was our last stop on our trip to Sri Lanka and our three nights at the Lighthouse were wonderful. I am a huge Geoffrey Bawa fan (the architect) and here one can see his mastery at play again. View corridors and shifting axes all through the property are wonderfully powerful and subtle where they need to be. The rooms were great - bathrooms opening up into the room to let in the views and natural light. The food was spectacular (contrary to previous advice from other travelers) and the breakfasts in the morning next to the crashing waves of the rocks was wonderful. All in all, a great place to stay.

Tropical Architecture and great service”
The Jetwing Lighthouse is not the newest hotel, but the combination of its great architecture and how it blends into location so well make it feel very contemporary and welcoming (more so that some more modern hotels). We had an ocean view and you could always hear the waves which was wonderful alongside the really warm and efficient service we received throughout the trip. One final thing, the pool was great too.

One of my favourite in Down South Sri Lanka”
very close to galle, a town full of history and traces of the duch colonial empire (the fort is a must visit). hotel is located right on the sea shore, elevated with lovely view. rooms are excellent, service and kindness of the crew is of the best sri lankan standards. very nice spa and pool amid palms and a huge green garden overlooking the beach. dining is of good quality as well. the architecture of the hotel is also very particular (one of jeffrey bava's designed hotels)
