semi-abandoned shack full of insects and rats”
Worst place ever seen in koh chang, semi-abandoned shack in the jungle (which at least is quiet) with no protections of barriers from insects or other animals...Basically the roof of the ''room'' it's full of holes and passages for all the animals which lives or hides in the space between the roof and the ceiling, same as for doors and windows : impossible to turn off the lights after the sunset without attracting storms of mosquitoes and insects. Rats in the roof. Best place to catch the dengue fever or get bitten by spiders, scorpions or snakes. Good place for insects sightseeing.

one of the best place we've ever stayed”
We arrived in Jane Chalet after a trip in Nepal and in India. We just wanted to rest for 10 days and that was really what we expected to : bungalow with balcony, viewing the sea from different places to enjoy it. What about the owners and their staff ? After a couple of days, you feel like in family. If they can, they try to help you as much as possible. The boss Stéphane is a wonderful guitarist and you will enjoy the Sunset Party on wednesdays when some musicians from Koh Chang or on holiday come for a jam session. I love Jane Chalet, Juju Bar and all the persons working there. I thank them again for all they brought us !

A shame because great potential ”
We booked for 3 nights over new year and in the end checked out after 2 nights to find a more comfortable place. If we could have found a hotel on the first night we would have checked out, even though we would lose nearly 5000 bht. The owner was helpful and checked us in early after a long journey, but the rooms were not what we expected.... Old rooms more like a backpackers Hut than a hotel. Broken toilet, broken water heater, rooms falling apart... Would have expected to pay about 700 for a place like this, not 1600. The location is set on a nice, quiet beach and is a nice place to sit, but rocky so not ideal to swim. No canoes or snorkels or any activities were offered. The 'resort' is set about 10 min walk from the main road where taxi /busses go past, so getting anywhere proves difficult or expensive (hiring private taxis to pick up from the 'resort' All in all, can't recommend it. Nice bar/restaurant, so might be worth a visit if nearby, but wouldn't advice staying there.

Didn't actually stay”
I booked this as a reserve because we'd just had a disastrous few days in Cambodia with booked rooms not being available and everywhere being full. Koh Chang was starting to look the same thing so I booked this a back-up to ensure we'd have somewhere to stay, thinking I could cancel, but I must have misread the policy because it turned out I couldn't. So I can't comment on the hotel itself. but I did later visit the hotel while exploring the Island by motorbike. It was a lot lot further out than I expected and I was quite relieved we chose not to stay there as we wanted nightlife and this place was very far from the main whitesands nightlife area/town. If you didn't have transport I'd image it would be quite a trek to get back there after a night in the town.

GREAT 6 DAY BREAK IN KOH CHANG”
We had a great time staying here. The location is lovely and peaceful with no noise of traffic. The owners were great and treated us very well even personally cooking us meals that were not on the menu - Thanks to Jane & Stephan for making our stay extra special.

Peacefull, amazingly beautiful location”
Jane is a brilliant cook, the ocean view is amazing, especially at sunset, the secluded beach while not sand is excellent, snorkelling off the jetty is great, the jungle surrounding is so peaceful and tranquil.

El bungalow con puerta rota, ventana rota, llena de arañas y telas de arañas que no se habían quitado nunca, polvo de hacia 3 meses y no iba ni el aire aunque mejor ni encenderlo de la de polvo que ibas a respirar, lo único es que cada mañana nos hacían la cama de limpio

la titolare e una persona squisita. Maltese,cuoco sopraffino: la migliore pasta all'arrabbiata che ho mangiato in Thai. Vicino quanto basta alla vita notturna ma in una posizione incantevole molto tranquilla. Mare a 5 mt, spiaggia di ciottoli, e scogli, a disposizione maschera e pinne per lo snorkeling. Spiagge rinomate a pochi minuti di scooter.. E soprattutto persone preziose!

Брал на две ночи. Не рекомендую. Нет своего пляжа. Есть спуск к морю но купаться не удобно. Персонал старается, но чувствуется, что отелю и владельцу не хватает средств- полное убожество. В комнате в постели присутствуют опасные насекомые! На Ко Чанге за такие деньги есть места более хорошие! В общем не рекомендую и сам не вернусь.

Старое не уютное бунгало. Полотенца не гигроскопичные. Ужастная дорога к самому отелю. Рядом стройка. Вид ужастный. Большой минус, что отель находится далеко от пляжа. А в описании было написано, что удобно расположен. Удобно, если на байке.

На территории отеля есть аренда мотоциклов, бронирование транспорта, заказ экскурсий и др. Всё очень удобно и быстро. В атмосферу Jane Chalet Resort хочется возвращаться. If you want to retire, feel like at home, enjoy nature, good food and live music in the evenings,I would recommend Jane Chalet Resort. Wonderful, helpful staff,decent living conditions-bungalows, proximity to major sites of Ko Chang.The hotel has motorbike rental, transport booking and excursions, etc. Everything is very easy and quickly. In the atmosphere Jane Chalet Resort want to return. Thank you for a wonderful holiday
