Amazing hotel with incredible view”

I was moved to this hotel by agoda because the hotel I originally chose was overbooked. I was given a room on a high floor that had a view of the forbidden city and beihai park, I spent hours just sitting by the big windows of my room just staring at the view. Transportation is also easy because the bus station is very near and taxi/uber driver knows the hotel. Location is also very good and not far from the forbidden city, definitely would stay here again if I come back to beijing

Pretty cute hotel, nice time ”

The room was very cute. And the hotel staff, even though They couldn't speak English, they always helped the best they could and made my stay so enjoyable. Really nice people working there. The food at the restaurant wasn't to my liking but still, great staff. The shower is great, the bed is great, and the location is great- I walked to the forbidden city.

Very clean and nice hotel decoration”

The hotel is clean and the room decoration is fantastic. The bed is super comfortable. The decor in the reception is awesome, with Inner Mongolia nuance. The staff is very friendly and the can speak English. There is an inner mongolian restaurant just next to the hotel. You should try, the food is nice. The nearest subway station is 10 minutes away from the hotel. We are very happy to stay at this hotel.

Good location with bus stop in front”

This located at the strategy location and having a bus stop just in front of hotel. There are buses to forbidden city, tiananmen, and other point of visit. Is also bear to nanluoguxiang which is around 15 mins walking distance. There is a bakery selling bread and a mini market just same row of hotel with 3 mins walking distance. Cleaniness is overall good but please take note that please ask there staff to change the bathrobe everyday as there don’t get me new one everyday for my total stay at there for 8 nights. Breakfast is good but limited choices of foods. Overall will recommend this.

Spacious room, room facilities are fully provided.”

The room is better than what we expected. Toiletries, hair dryer, international port (we are from Malaysia but we can still charge our phones here), 6 pillows and 1 bolster are provided for Standard King Room. For transportation, the bus station is on the right side of the hotel (50m). You can take bus 104 to Wangfujing to take subway. (only 2 RMB) Wangfujing subway station is in the mall, 100m after you got down from the bus. Before subway you can even grab breakfast at Wangfujing, you can find a few malls and plenty of food stores here. Very convenient. The staff at the front desk of hotel are helpful, they helped us to contact taxi to airport which only costed us less than 100RMB. The taxi arrived in less than 5 mins, at 1am in the midnight. The counter is open 24 hours. We are very happy with our stay (7 nights). Hope you guys will find this tips helpful to you.

Nice Room”

The hotel is out of the way if you wish to visit Forbidden City area. The hotel is nice, clean. The room is close to fantastic with the exception that they don't tell you that air conditioning in this hotel is seasonal. Starting to get warm in April but A/C does not start until May so it was quite warm. The staff does not speak English which makes communicating difficult. The room has many fine amenities, very comfortable and well put together. Better when the AC gets turned on.

This hotel is clean enough, in front of the hotel there is restaurant & fruit shop. The location also not too far from Forbidden City & Park. The problem only receptionist can’t speak English and don’t want to help to arrange taxi. Only 1 lady (I forgot the name) was kind & try her best with limited language to respond our questions.

Decent hotel with good location. Air conditioning needs improvement.”

I stayed in the twin room for 3 nights in Sep'17. The room was decent with ample toiletries and the water heater worked fine. Water current was also good. Cleanliness of the room was above average. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is a big plus as it is close to tourist sites such as Tiananmen sq, forbidden cit, qianmen and wangfujing. Downside of the room was the air conditioning which was rather weak and may be uncomfortable to some especially in warmer seasons. Wifi didn't work on the my 2nd day onwards but was told that it is due to some technical issues by the network operator and not the hotel. Overall, I'd say a decent stay.

Great choice.”

The room was big and clean with all the amenities I expected. Breakfast was ok, but I have to give props to the hot pot restaurant, it was delicious and reasonably priced than outside hot pot restaurants. Location was good since it is near majors attractions but the hotel itself is located between 2 metro stops, so a 10 minutes walk to either metro entrance. Staffs were overall great, friendly and helpful, with the exception of the check in staffs of that particular night, they weren't mean or rude, just not particularly friendly or informative. I would definitely stay again though! Well worth the money and reasonably priced compared to other 4 stars hotels in the area.

For this hotel, it looks good at my first sight ,nice bed and facilities but the sofa looks a little bit dirty, nice location near the forbidden palace and nanluoguxiang street and underground. Good location & value for money”

Pros - Good location: bus stop right outside the hotel has bus services to places of interest (i.e. Tian An Men, Forbidden Palace, Temple of Heaven) - Hotel is able to help us book tours to the Great Wall of China - 赵文正 & Annie (apologies if the names are incorrect) were very helpful in providing directions on how to get to the places of interest by public transport. They were friendly and welcoming. - Wedome bakery (the breads are really good) & convenience store conveniently located next to the hotel - Water pressure for shower is strong - Provided an additional bed at no additional cost for a room for 3pax Cons - Wifi doesn’t work - Room cards doesn’t work - we had to go back to the front desk to reset it (after reaching our room every single day of our stay and realised it doesn’t work). We had feedback to the staff but the problem wasn’t resolved - Housekeeping did not replace the toiletries and we had to request for it - Air conditioner was not cold even after turning it to the coolest - Food at the hotel restaurant was average and quite costly - Other staff were less approachable

Excellent”

The location is a bit far from the 2 nearest subway station in between dongsi and nanlouguxiang. A number of good restaurants nearby, e.g Little Yunan. The room is fairly size and clean. Take the room facing front side is better as the back is facing west sunset and hot. Air con may not be fast cool down the room at night. Only thing curious me. On the 3rd day night we received a message from hotel by a piece of plain paper, not a hotel memo that night after our dinner slip under our door apparently from our tourist guide to meet at the lobby at 7:40am next morning whereby we already make appointment earlier at 8am as usual same as the first few days. Anyway, the next morning we were at the lobby on time 7:40am and we were told by the reception that a guy was looking for us and a man suddenly approach us said that he was instructed by our tourist guide to take us to the Great Wall to meet him there which happen we are going to the Great Wall that day as well. We refuse to follow as he is not our driver for the past few days and we told him to call our tourist guide and get a confirmation by phone with us. The man behavior become furious and impatient since we refuse to follow him. By the time about 8am we saw our driver show up at outside the hotel and As i talk to my driver and man left immediately with his car. May be is a scam trap as I have heard a lot of scam stories . Anyway, coming back, wondering how they get our informations like my name, number of people and room number?? Thinking back look like the arrangement timing made is just a few minute earlier than normally we leave the hotel everyday for the few days. I'm not accusing anybody but have to be very careful!! Do not talk or follow strangers! Just for sharing.

Good Option”

Hotel is close to most major tourist sights and has easy access to public transportation. Rooms are clean, large and comfortable. WIFI was not working for our entire stay of 5 nights. Staff informed us their WIFI has not been working for a while now. They instruct you to use the Beijing free open WIFI network. Which you do need a local number for and it is also very slow when you can get it working. Staff overall was not interested in fixing this issue or doing anything other then checking you in and out of the room. Over all good value and we would book here again.

Exceptional”

Went during early spring. Room was great, except for the weak tv connection. Unfortunately as there is no western restaurant in this hotel (as explained by the hotel staff), there is no ice provided. Location is alright, we took about 15-20mins walking to WangJinFu street.
