Old and bad”

At least there was hot shower. Rather than that, nothing. No Wifi in the room, dirty room, old, super weird bed... I mean waste of money.

Excellent location”

Large, quite old in and out. Rooms very basic but air-conditioned with fridge [2 bottles complimentary water available] and shower/toilet OK, a reflection for the low price paid per standard room but upgrades available. It is serviced daily and is decorated in an older Thai style perhaps with some Vietnamese/French influences. The manager is a friendly Thai lady with a French husband. Breakfast not included in the low price per room but can be ordered in the hotel cafe for 80Thb/pp. Hotel is popular for weddings/conferences. Hotel is in a quiet location, just off the main street, in the city. Walk to shops and city sightseeing.

Excellent Location For Songran New Years Parade”

What I did not like was that the TV was only in Thai with about 6 channels. I am used to English T.V. when I stay in hotels in Thailand and Laos, but I am a full time Thai resident, a Native Canadian working and living in Thailand.

Interesting quiet, country town and life there”

Location is best, a very short distance off the main road, away from traffic noise. Walk to roadside variety markets, 7-11 convenience store, restaurants, pharmacies. Hotel is rather old but quaint, and is still very popular for wedding receptions especially amongst the locals, which in its heyday, was one of the main attractions. Food served at a huge wedding reception I attended, was very delicious, a mix of Thai/Viet/Isaan dishes. The superior room, with breakfast included and city views, is good. Room is big, bath average, bed comfortable, for price paid. Daily breakfast is same consisting a set menu of 2 eggs, salad, sausage, ham slice, toast, coffee/tea, orange juice. Walk to sightsee is best or take a bike cab. Have stayed there before and will be back again soon. Hotel is a good base to travel to Mukdahan [1-1/2hrs by road], the border town by the Mekong river, with Laos on the opposite side, accessed by the “Friendship Bridge”. Travel by private A/C van [12 seater] to Mukdahan is about 1,800Thb per day.

Nice Thai Hotel”

There are not too many hotels here, and this is one i will recommend. The night market is just outside the hotel compound, and the old town streets are just across the road. There are some really nice food, particularly one selling Thai/Vietnamess food. The hotel staffs are really really very nice, typical Thai. I will recommend this hotel to anyone from families to solo traveller.

Good Staff”

Old dated hotel but clean and comfortable. Very friendly and efficient staff. Excellent location however dont go by agodas map location...it isnt there! Its1.6kms past there straight down the road on right hand side. Overall a good stay.

Cheap- get what you pay for.”

The hotel was listed as $11 and I had stayed here before for the same price paid cash direct. This time I booked on Agoda to use points. When I arrived the room offrred was dank and in a back corner. I asked to upgrade with a cash payment. I was charged 300 Baht per nignt for a 500 baht because the staff said i had only paid 600 for two nights. Even if that were the case I ended up paying more via agoda and the upgrade than if I had walked in and paid cash. I could not explain this to the staff as they had little to no english and I couldn't hold that against them. IT was just easier to pay the cash of 300 per day . Next time I'll just pay cash when I arrive.

stay was not good.room stated a mini bar but did not have.windows did not lock even tho we was on a walkwak outside.2 doors damaged towel rail in bathroom hanging off wall toilet leaked when you flush drawers missing from units and when i woke the next morning i was covered in mosquito bites.reception area very clean and staff friendly.did stay 3/4 years ago no prpblems then.

Dont go there pick another hotel”

Breakfast stinks, they have hot water for coffe in a 40 liter container and I dont think they change the water for a year or something. Just boil same up. OK I take eggs instead, I like boiled eggs. When I with help order 4 min eggs, I get 20 sec eggs. Both mornings. The rom smells bad give you headache, carpets cleaned I guess never. I was in the room, tried to get it cleanded but the cleaning lady didnt do it because I was there. They where OK in the reception. I dont use to complain but this was bad.

This hotel is very awful same as huanted house.”

Goede prijs voor het hotel, al is het een beetje heel oud maar voor dit bedrag kun je ook niet meer verwachten, het personeel doet zijn best om je te begrijpen, mijn Thai is beperkt en gebruik vaak de verkeerde toonhoogte, maar met hande en voeten toch gekregen wat ik wilden

歴史あるホテルですが”

地元の人の情報ではサコナコンの中心地ではもっとも歴史ある大きなホテルだったということですが今ではすっかり老朽化してしまっています。朝食は、おかゆとそれ以外に１品しかなかったです。温める設備がなく料理は冷めていました。昔は朝食もとても美味しかったそうですが、すっかり朝食のレベルは落ちてしまったようです。
