Good hotel centrally located”
really good hotel with good staffing - helped us with quick check in/out, arranged transportation for us. Staff assimilated questions well in English which is a rarity in Korea. Good location, exit 4 at Jongno station. string of cafes located just across the street, plenty to see and eat. Near to Angguk the arts precinct, walking distance to a few palaces and other art inspired activities. Walls a tad thin though as you can hear the next room if they talk louder. Otherwise an excellent stay! will stay here again.

Value for money”
I’m glad I chose Ibis Insadong. The place isn’t as busy yet nearby train and bus stations are within walking distance, making travel to most places of interest is easily accessible. Convenience stores and restaurants around the area are aplenty. Would definitely book this hotel again.

Great location”
A 5-10mins walk from the nearest train station. Great location for food, shopping & sightseeing in ikseondong hanok village. The beds were wonderful. It was like sleeping on a firm cloud. Staying 3 nights was a great decision.

Convenient and budget friendly”
Booked this hotel for a last minute trip. Location was amazing, if this is your first time going to Korea, it’s close to many of the tourist things you want to do. The neighborhood is so cute, so I make sure you walk around and explore. The staff at the hotel speak English and are very helpful and kind.

Nice hotel”
I had a nice stay in ibis insadong. The location is perfect for foreign tourists. Except for a not that good sound proof system, I had a nice stay in the hotel.

Good location In Ikseon-dong ”
Comfy beds, not the most stylish, but very good value. Very good location just off Ikseon-dong, which has some nice bars and restaurants.

Lovely stay near Ikseon-dong”
Located in the heart of old Seoul, especially just a few steps from Ikseon-dong. Stay was perfect, reasonable cost, cozy bed and clean facilities. Because of COVID-19, breakfast service, sauna and fitness were not available for a while even there were some hotels which still serve those services.

Would recommend to others”
Location is near to metro station. A lots of food around the hotel with a reasonable price. I had a small issue when arrived to hotel but the staff reacts quickly and helped a lot. Also there is a Sauna inside the hotel which you can enjoy for free. Will definitely revisit this hotel in my next trip to Korea.

There's a reason for the cheap price”
You can consider the price suggested is only for the room itself. I reasonably thought there should be some basic amenities, but there wasn't. Compared to other facilities with the same or similar prices I have been to, nothing made me feel the need to be back here.

Acceptable”
The hotel room is not clean. Found hair on the bed and dirt on the pillows. The carpet is super dusty and have lots of hair, obviously not vacuum. The housekeeping staffs didn’t do a good job. Feel so uncomfortable. Will not stay again. Disappointing.

Extremely comfortable, affordable, central”
Ibis Ambassador Seoul Insadong Hotel is one of the best non-luxury hotels I've ever stayed at. Rooms are extremely clean, the bed is soft by Asian standards, breakfast and lunch buffets are generous for the price point, and facilities are modern. Ibis cuts cost in ways that don't impact the stay much: there are no disposable toiletries (there is a shampoo/body wash dispenser in the shower) but you can buy a toothbursh, razor, etc for a reasonable price. There's no mini bar, but you still get a fridge in the room. Porters do not carry luggage to your room, but there are luggage carts available. Service is oriented towards self-resolution. For example, when asked to book a taxi, front desk staff wrote down the name of our destination in Korean and instructed us to hail a cab outside, which proved easy enough. When we asked more general questions or had issues with facilities (a safe with low batteries), staff responded quickly and comprehensively. Notably, laundry machines let you wash or dry your clothes for KRW 1,000/load, which is very competitive. There are also hot/cold/warm water dispensing machines on each floor, so there's no need to get bottled water. The rooms were wonderfully cosy. They were not large, but there was enough room for a desk, closet, shelving, and a bench. My companion and I both slept unusually well while staying here. Finally, the location is fantastic. A short walk to 2 different train stations and to Insadong street, this Ibis is central, surrounded by restaurants, and easy to find.

Very good in all aspects”
Transport, ultra-convenient location and superior, underground CITIZEN road and public buses, walk also! -8 Degree weather, adequate heating, hot showers, plenty water, sanitation and hygiene in the toilet system is good! Entertainment 74 units free of any watch! Even better than imagined, comfortable rooms, free (tea bags) ginseng tea, black tea, coffee, every morning. The hotel is the hotel, there is no unnecessary facilities, simple and quiet! lovely (Ibis Ambassador Seoul Insadong Hotel)

great budget hotel near insadong”
This is a great new hotel about 2 blocks away from the Insadong shopping street and the Jongno-3ga and Anguk subway stations. Taxis have a hard time finding it but once you get a hotel map, they will easily find it. The price is great. The rooms are larger than your usual Ibis - there is a desk and a chair and a small sofa/seating bench. The rooftop garden has a nice view of the city. The free high-speed wifi is great. I would definitely stay here again. The staff were friendly and spoke a decent amount of English. I did not eat at the restaurants so I can't speak to the food. It was raining and the staff gave me free use of their umbrellas daily. This is fine for tour groups, business travelers and families. Seoul is an expensive city so this is a great way to save some money.

Very solid choice in Insadong”
This hotel is brand new and the rooms are absolutely spotless. Rooms are on the small side but well-conceived, so still quite comfortable. Staff speaks excellent English which is not always the case in Seoul. The location is good, next to Insadong and a short walk to the metro. We did not eat in the restaurant so cannot comment on the food but I'm sure it's reasonably decent. Overall, Ibis is usually a reliable choice at a good price, and this one did not disappoint. As the hotel is quite new, cab drivers may have difficulty locating it.
