Perfect location to all the places to see/visit in UB. Room is very spacious and most importantly the bathroom is clean. The room we had has a balcony and perfect spot for sunrise views. The staff are very accommodating and helpful. There is a CBTL coffee shop at the ground floor as well as a convenient store but only open during office hours. A travel agency for flight bookings and request is also located in front of the hotel main lobby. You can exchange currency at the front desk. There are also 4 restaurants within the compound of the hotel. During our week long stay, we strolled around UB by foot because the hotel location is at the central. You can also ask staff for help for tips on where to go and where to eat.

Frankly, Springs is somewhat overpriced, but in fairness so is every other hotel in Ulaanbaatar. Rooms are clean, the beds are unusually comfortable by Asian standards, and the staff are extremely helpful and speak excellent English. The Korean restaurant on the 2nd floor operates independently of the hotel and should only be regarded as a last resort in, for example, ...Frankly, Springs is somewhat overpriced, but in fairness so is every other hotel in Ulaanbaatar. The Korean restaurant on the 2nd floor operates independently of the hotel and should only be regarded as a last resort in, for example, extremely bad weather – many other dining options within five minutes' walk of the hotel offer better food. Veranda is probably the best of the nearby restaurants.

I've stayed 5 different hotels in UB and it's been the best so far. Location is over looking the central square, staff were amazingly attentive (trust me, this is very difficult to come across in UB), the room was comfy and the club lounge was nice. Everything you'd expect from a Shangri-La. Staff is very service oriented and go out of their way to serve you. I needed some medicine and they went to the pharmacy for me and brought to my room. Hotel is very new and nicely decorated - only open a month. Rooms are spacious and have standard amenities for a 5 star. We booked the standard room with 2 single beds. The beds are a bit short for anyone over 6ft but we had comfortable sleep otherwise. Complete basic amenities and everything is quite clean. The main reason I chose the Chinggis Khaan Hotel was that it had a swimming pool and sauna. I was very disappointed that they were closed for maintenance during my stay. The receptionist who I spoke to told me they would re-open next month, which meant I could not use them. The room was big and comfortable, but my toilet seat was partly broken. The room was clean, but I noticed two flies in my room on my first night. There was a well-stocked mini bar, but the water was not complimentary, only the tea and instant coffee.There was direct access to a shopping centre across from the hotel, but on one day access from inside the hotel was closed, so I had to go outside and walk to the shopping centre. The breakfast buffet was good, but there were never any scrambled eggs and though you could often have an omelette, you couldn't have it made according to your specifications. The employee just made omelettes and left them for guests to take. There was brewed coffee, but it wasn't very good. On the last two days of my stay, there was no breakfast buffet. No explanation was given. Maybe the chef got sick, but at the very least, I thought the hotel could have compensated its guests in some way. There was free wi-fi in my room, but for the last three days of my stay, it didn't work well, In fact, it didn't work at all on the last day of my stay and there was no wi-fi access in the lobby. There was supposedly a Mongolian restaurant on the fifth floor, but I never saw any guests eating there except in the morning when the breakfast buffet was offered. Also unfortunate is that there was no menu for the Mongolian restaurant. On the first floor there was a Chinese restaurant, but I didn't eat there. The hotel is very quiet, but it's a little far from downtown. It takes ten to fifteen minutes to get downtown on foot. The staff speak good English, so communication is not a problem. In my opinion, this hotel is a little expensive. In hindsight, I wish I'd chosen a different hotel.

I booked this hotel through Agoda for its good review and value for money. Overall I had a peaceful and relax one night stay. It's value for money and good location within 10 mins walking distance to Chinggis Khaan Square where most of the shops and restaurants are located. A bottle of mineral water cost me USD1.38 which is rather expensive considering that most other hotels will give it as a complimentary. The receptionist was helpful in helping me to book a taxi to the airport with her limited English. The trip from the hotel to airport took about 25 minutes.

This is a spa center that happens to also have 7 hotel rooms. The room we stayed in was massive and had many amenities not typically found in UB hotels (Japanese toilet, fully stocked minibar, big screen TV, in-room breakfast) and at very reasonable prices. After spending 2 weeks in different ger camps every night, this was a welcome respite. And I haven't even mention...This is a spa center that happens to also have 7 hotel rooms. The room we stayed in was massive and had many amenities not typically found in UB hotels (Japanese toilet, fully stocked minibar, big screen TV, in-room breakfast) and at very reasonable prices. After spending 2 weeks in different ger camps every night, this was a welcome respite. And I haven't even mentioned the spa. An entire room filled with Himalayan sea salt, 3 gorgeous ger-shaped saunas, hot tub, pool, steam rooms, meditation rooms, on and on. Best back massage ever. The only downside for a first-time in UB tourist like me would be its distance from downtown UB (25 min walk, 5-10 min taxi ride). To be honest, that was an upside for us in the end- we even extended our stay an extra 3 nights rather than move downtown to our previous booking!

Due to Naadam festive period all hotels in the city got rather pricey; UB INN was my choice due to its location. Compared to several other places I had been staying, it instantly appeared quite plain and - almost empty! For some reason my room didn't get serviced, so had to go to get towels and toiletries from reception myself. On mentioning my remarks to one of the reception staff members, my rate was 'adjusted', which was a nice surprise! Very clean and quiet room equipped with kitchenette (microwave!) and small but functional shower/toilet room.

My stay at the Corporate Hotel was a very good one. The staff in particular is very helpful and speak very good English. Also the location of the hotel is good. And the facilities (gym, restaurant, rooftop bar) are good too. Room was a bit worn out but it didn't really bother me much - not sure what the general quality of hotels in Ulaanbaatar is elsewhere... Prime Minister A.Amar Street, at where the hotel locates, is 3-minute walk away from the Sukhbaatar (Chinggis) Square. You can find the general post office (don't miss the beautiful stamps and postcards, opens from Mon and Sun) at the southwest and the National Museum of Mongolia at the northwest of the square. Another 10-minute walk you can find the State Department Store ("SDS"), in where you can find money exchange (rate is so-so), tourist information centre and a small supermarket. A bank at the corner of Peace Avenue and the small street east of SDS (I can't remember the bank's name) has money exchange as well. It opens till 8pm/9pm and the rate is better. The Internom Bookstore is extremely close to the hotel (see Google Map for details). For dining, the Modern Nomads Resturant at 2/F of the hotel is highly recommended.
