"The Raffles Beijing is an excellent choice for any traveller looking to visit Beijing on a middle to middle-upper budget. Thanks to a superb deal from Agoda, stayed there for 6 nights on my first visit to Beijing. Without exaggeration, the Raffles Beijing's location couldn't be any more central - it's a 3-minute stroll to Wangfuiing Street (Beijing's main pedestrian street), a 12-15 minute walk to the Forbidden City, the National Museum of China and Tiananmen Square, and for those of you inclined to take the subway (which itself is an excellent way of navigating the city), the subway entrance is literally at the hotel's doorstep. Not to mention, just stepping into the lobby provides some much appreciated respite from the millions of domestic and foreign tourists that throng the streets of Beijing. For comfort, convenience, and privacy, can't go wrong with the Raffles."
