"The best motel we ever stayed. The staff at reception was extremely helpful and kind, room has good layout for families with two teenager aged 18 (girl) and 13 (boy), everything we saw in the room is clean, neat and has good quality. Worth every cent!"

"Visiting Otago university this motel is ideally located a 5 min walk away. While a bit dated it was clean and roomy. With the heating on it was warm and cozy, even with snow outside. "

"What a gem! The Highland House Boutique Hotel is well-maintained and clean and updated in both the room and the exterior. The room was comfortable and the bed was great with soft sheets and good pillows. There was a microwave and fridge and sink dishes and a small table to sit at. I used for breakfast. The bathroom was updated with new fixtures. The staff was very friendly. I highly recommend. Very charming. "

"Robyn is simply fantastic. She assisted us with lots of information about sights and things to do in Dunedin. Wi-Fi is simply fantastic. Location is also great which is just next to Knox Church and there is a Lone Star Steak house just across the road. Overall, the host is simply the best we've encountered. Will definitely stay again."

"Stayed in unit 10 upper floor. Motel is very clean, new and comfort. Very spicious unit. Very well equipped kitchen with a dish washer. Walking distance to City Centre which can avoid the parking issue in city centre."

"There are free car park slots, the room is big, the beds are comfortable but pillows were soft for me. The water pressure was strong and filled up the bathtub without waiting for a long time. Towels, bathroom, and room were cleared too. Hotel is near to the city by walking. There are many restaurants but some really close early. Recommended Seoul restaurant if craves for Korean foods. Overall, thumbs up for this hotel. "
