We were amazed by the room the moment we stepped into it. With an area of 20 square meters, it was easily among the biggest we had had in Japan and other countries. There was still plenty of space left even with two single beds, two chairs, a small table and a large desk. We are grateful to the hotel for giving us a room with a balcony, which looked out on to a panoramic view of Obama Bay. Not only could we see the lighthouse not too far from the shore and the strip of peninsular in the distance, but we could also admire the mountains on the other side of the bay in the day and gaze in wonder at the bright stars in the evening while listening to the peaceful waves lapping the beach in front of the hotel. Overlooking the bay, the onsen was small but enjoyable, warming us up after our walk through the chilly street. The staff was courteous and helpful. They were also very kind to give us two pairs of Japanese chopsticks as souvenirs when we checked out, a gesture we appreciate a lot.

友人に会いに小浜へ行きました。それ以外はあてもなく朝は浜を散策し三丁町を歩き、割烹、八尾比丘尼巌窟があることを知りました。ホテルアーバンポートにあったパンフレットに関西五芒星の最北の地との地図を見てパワースポットに滞在できたのだと思いました。また来てみたいと思います。”

目の前は海”

ホテルの前は道と堤防を隔ててすぐ海！ 今回はビジネスでしたので、ゆっくりと砂浜を歩くことはできませんでしたが、観光で来たいと思います。 建物や部屋の設備は築年数が深く、ひと昔の感じですが一人部屋としては広く、過ごしやすかったです。

ホテルに向かう時間が遅かったのもあるが、ホテル周辺はかなり暗く、何もない。ホテルの看板が目立たない(光っていなかった)ので近寄らないと見分けられなかった。 ホテルも少し古い感じがあった。

객실도넓고 전망도 최고였지만...”

자동차가 아니라면 역과 멀고, 주변에 식당이나 편의점이 없어 뚜벅이 여행자에겐 불편합니다. 하지만 해안가에 있는 만큼, 경치 하나는 끝내줬습니다. 방도 트윈룸을 혼자 썼는데, 매우 넓었습니다. 단점으론 와이파이가 계속 끊기는게 안좋았네요.
