Great stay even in our second night there ;-)”

Before and after our trekking we stayed in "Hotel Cherry Garden" in Pokhara. And this was perfect! The hotel is located in Lakeside, just 5 minutes away from main street/phewa lake. The atmosphere with a relaxing garden is great (a little bit "backpacker stye) and the rooms are clean and spacious. The service of owner "mp" is very kind: Trekking recommendations, booking of a taxi, very helpful in all questions. Can fully recommend this hotel!

Great stay in Pokhara (base location for trekking)”

Such an Awesome Place!”

I really love the location of this hotel. It is not on the main road of Pokhara , Fewa Lake.... it's about 5 minutes walk to the main road where all the cafe's and shops are located at . This makes the hotel a really peaceful place and not noisy at all. Perfect if you are trying to chill in Pokhara! It is also near the organic cafe which serves really good food , near an ATM and also near some mini mart. The room is also really clean and comfortable. It is by far the cleanest room I have ever stayed in throughout my stay in Nepal. The only issue might be the fact that there will be blackout every now and then. Sometimes the fan will just shut or the lights might go off. But I supposed it is something normal in Nepal so I am not very affected by it. I really recommend people to come and visit Nepal.... especially Pokhara... it is the most chill city I've been to! Make sure you stay in Hotel Cherry Garden!

Great Experience!”

The Cherry Garden was perfect for what we needed. it was far enough back from the main road that we both got a good night sleep, but close enough to enjoy the cafes and wonderful views. The owner was super friendly and helpful. We got food poisoning in Kathmandu (before coming to Pokhara). He personally drove my friend and i to the local clinic/hospital that was very nice! His wife did occasionally misunderstand about breakfast. Although it was always good when we got it, there was a small problem with communication with the wife (the owner himself was very easy to talk to!) The wifi was great! we could even stream movies. We hung out on the roof several times (which is a common thing to do in the winter to stay warm). The hot water for showers in your room works only during daylight hours (it is solar powered). but there is a community shower that has gas powered hot water. If it were summer i would have not minded a cold shower, but as it was winter we had to plan the occasional shower carefully :) I would def stay here again and would recommend it to my friends! and family!

I stayed at the Cherry garden a few nights on my own. I wasn't happy with the dorm, he changed my room straight away. Then I came back from my trek with some friends, changing everyday the number of people, they always made it work for us with the room! Thank you very much. As a solo traveler or as a group, I recommend it. It's clean, and very well placed on the lakeside of Pokhara 😉.

Great place in Pokhara”

It is located in the lakeside area just few minutes walk to the Phewa Tal. A great place for me: it has all I needed staying in the cold Pokhara City. They provide blankets, ones that are very thick and comfortable that made me question if I paid enough to cover the overheads 😀 And there's a hot shower that is so strong I was like taking a bath under a waterfall. I just couldn't last so long feeling sorry I might be wasting too much hot water. I hope they will change the sprinkler to conserve water and save a lot of energy heating the ice cold liquid. Paid only 4 dollars a night in a neat dorm room for three people, not double decks, just three comfortable beds. The wi-fi connection is good too. And the owner is so nice he would bend over backwards to let you have a welcomed stay.

Wonderful stay with Cherry garden family so nice and absolute atmosphere beautiful garden with hammock don't try to go out side arrange your tour Trekking and paragliding if you're interested once you have to talk with owner Mr: Madhab he really give you many options and many different informationi I think all visitiors are looking that choice and also found better price then Kathmandu I had genioune guide for my two days Trekking he is prefact in his duty his name is Sangam really make me happy and memorable . Fully satisfied.

Great location and nice service in Pokhara ”

Clean and sunny room, warm water every day, functional power plug and pretty good wifi for Nepal. Close to the main street but quiet. I spent 5 nights at Cherry Garden and I was happy to come back to my room after a day outside.

The location is great, slightly away from the noisy central lakeside road. The garden and hotel are very peaceful but only a short walk away from the lake. The taxi service was excellent and very helpful as was the advice and helpfulness of all staff. The balcony was lovely and the room good for our purposes. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing n wonderful journey ”

wonderful to stay. super comfortable rooms, clean bathrooms. family that is as comfortable as at home. the hosts are very helpful for my paradiglin trip. take me to the night bus which is almost late. The host and wife and child were very warm when I wanted to cook noodles and sit in the living room and I divided the bengbeng chocolate for their boys when crying. watching tv and greeting each other. I like family with them. breakfast is very good bread, milk tea and omlet of mountain fish tail from rootop. I was allowed to leave the room past the clock while waiting for my night bus to return to Kathmandu. I will definitely come back again if I go to Pokhara. from lani indonesia. bengbeng chocolate. thanks for the warmth

Great staff and lovely facilities!”

Stayed here for my first time in Pokhara and I was so pampered with the facilities. The hotel staff, Sangam and TJ were so friendly and always helped us around. There is a porch that has hammock, a great way to spend your morning after breakfast. The reading selections are really complete and the balcony is so awesome to breathe Pokhara’s fresh air in the morning. Will book this hotel again once I am back to Nepal.

Beautiful setting at great price”

The garden seating area outside was exactly what I needed to relax after a trek. I appreciated the kindness and helpfulness of the owner. It felt homey and safe. The breakfast was nice too. I would recommend to anyone staying in pokhara and I will certainly stay here again the next time I'm in town.

Very nice budget guest house”

Ok, this hotel is not located on the lakeside and has no lake view. But everything else is just fine, and distance to lakeside is short. Who wants to be there in all the noise anyway? Very helpful host, nice garden, cosy rooms.

A wonderful place!Away from the main road and with a lovely garden. Clean, quiet and cozy. But the main thing in this hotel - people!!! I lived in a common room, but they treated me as if I were renting the most expensive hotel room.Realy nice stuff!! There are many local, budget and very tasty places to eat close to the hotel. I recommend this place to everyone.

Super nice room”

Booked dorm bed but it didn't look nice so upgraded to a room with attached bathroom, it has a single bed and a double bed, cute wardrobe, balcony, 24hrs hot water, really with the price, really like the place. Just wanted to indulge for one night before trekking :) if you have slightly more budget or have 2-3 people traveling together, this is definitely a good choice! Oh and the garden is so nice!

Lovely place, close to everything.”

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our triple room was great with our own bathroom, a hot shower and great views. The WiFi worked fine and the beds were comfortable. There are good places to eat on up the same road, and the main road through the town in about 3 minutes away walking, even the tourist permit office is walkable or you can grab a taxi. If you walk to the lake there are things to see/do in either direction, so this spot is really great. Would definitely stay here again :)

Nice garden and organizes tours too ”

Booked last minute at this place looking for a nice hostel before I start my unorganized trek. Turned out this place organizes treks too and I ended up getting a good deal for Mardi Himal! they have a very nice garden that I chilled at to read and relax before my trek. Everyone was very friendly too you would definitely feel home. Highly recommend this place for backpackers looking for a good and affordable place.

Exceptional”

Great point as 24 hrs hot shower. The garden is really beautiful and makes me feel comfortable with the smell of the flowers. The dorm room is big and clean. I recommend this place especially for its garden.

A good option if you don't want to be on the lakefront”

I booked a Deluxe Room with fan. I paid ‘60% off’ the rack-rate at N$1,100 / US$10 per night for 2 nights excluding Breakfast. I looked on other sites and noticed that the rack-rate on Agoda had, obviously, been inflated so that they could attract me with such a large ‘discounted’ offer. That said, Agoda still offered the best rate on the day I booked. The private bathroom was a good size and the shower had hot water. My room was on the first floor with close access to a small shared balcony with a view out over the garden. The wifi was good enough to stream video. They provided a Breakfast for an additional N$250. The Breakfast was disappointing: 2 slices of toast with a 2-egg omelette and tea / coffee. You can get exactly the same in a street cafe for N$150.
