worth the money”
We stay at Mount Paradise for one night. The room is basic but definitely worth the money: very clean, with hot shower available 24 hours. The hotel owner answered our questions very patiently and made you feel at home. The vegetarian food is very good and is charged at reasonable price. The hotel is about 15 minutes' drive to the View Tower and 1 hour's drive to the International Airport. 3 days after we came back home, the 8.1 magnitude earthquake hit Nepal, hope everyone is fine there, and will pray for the safety of everyone in Nepal.

Very good stay for the given price”
The location of this hotel is very just outside the town where it is quite and peaceful away from all the noise but at the same time close enough if anyone wants to visit the town for some grocery or miscellaneous shopping. The staff I would say is extremely helpful and polite (10/10 for the staff there). We stayed in a room with shared bathroom. The room and bathroom were clean and neat. The only drawback I would say is that it gets very cold in Nagarkot (we visited in the month of December), but the heater they provide in the room is not enough for such winter cold. Although the blankets they provide are good.

Perfect stay”
My husband I loved staying at Hotel Mount Paradise. The owner greeted us warmly and was very friendly and accomodating throughout our 8 night stay. We were given an extra blanket and heater for our room as the weather was getting colder at night. The hotel has a vegetarian restaurant with a really good selection of food. We are vegan and the cook was very attentive to our needs, changing recipes to suit us. The room was clean and was serviced while we stayed with clean sheets and towels. Shower had lovely hot water whenever needed, allso we had laundry done twice. A great stay, I would definitely go back.

I initially booked a different date for my trip to Nagarkot. Mohan, the owner, is kind enough to allow me to change my booking. I only stayed here for 2d/1n but it was all worth the experience. They also arrange transport from/to airport. I did sunrise and the view was simply breathtaking. I walk from the tower back to the hotel and I enjoyed it a lot. Even the sunset was amazing! Beautiful garden, I love the flowers. The location is so peaceful, the rooms are clean. I have a wonderful sleep. I became friends with Mohan even after I left Nepal.

This is highly recommended for budget traveller as its priced accordingly, location-wise is also good and most importantly good services provided. As a young solo traveller, i always opted for budget accomodation and i find this hotel beyond expectation. But be mindful that we are talking about budget hotel (not comparable with those rated 3 stars and above). Stayed here for 2 nights, food was good (the staff even came to my room asking whether i wanted anything for dinner)..its mid way to nagarkot tower from the bus stop..Definitely a yes

Fine choice for a visit to Nagarkot.”
I stayed here for just one night in order to see the dawn from Nagarkot. Despite the fuel shortage and all food having to be cooked on wood the meals were good although choice was limited. The menu for less stressful times was very extensive. The location is about a 40 minute walk from the viewing tower at Nagarkot and about 10 minutes uphill from Nagarkot itself. The owner and staff were helpful. The room was large and very clean with super clean bedding. I would stay here again.

Homely environment ”
All the facilities are very clean, beds are super comfy and staff here is really nice! Mohan (the owner) is a very lovely guy that was always making sure everybody was happy. Unfortunately I got fever while I was staying in Mount Paradise and Mohan took great care of me bringing me fruits in bed and not letting me eat rice, as it's Nepalese tradition when you're ill. They also have a very good vegetarian reataurant with ingredients from their garden. Amazing place!

Location is abt 10mins easy walk from Nagarkot bus stand. The hotel is surrounded with trees, no sunlight makes it too cold to stay during winter, I was covered 2 layers but still difficult to sleep at night. 3km walk to sunrise view tower. The security young boy is a cute guy, set up campfire at night which is good for winter time. Very attentive to guests needs. The room and toilet are quite clean.

The hotel is located a bit further away from the bus stop and the centre but it is closer to the view tower and also a lot more peaceful with a nice green area to read and relax. The vegetarian foods were freshly prepared every time so it was very tasty and the food price was very reasonable as well. The owner is a very nice and helpful man. It could get pretty cold at night but extra blankets are available and the hot shower is was available at all time during.

Warm welcome at a great location”
The owner does his best to make you feel at home and is very helpful. The hotel is located near the small village and an hour walk from the viewing tower where you can watch the sunrise. Also, a basic breakfast is included. Very nice place for a good price.

Very inexpensive. The room had everything we needed and the shower was hot. Quiet location and a lovely garden to relax in. The food we had was good. The hotel are busy building an extra room with good facilities. It will be amazing when complete. The owner was an incredibly kind man who took care of our every need.

Fantastic, stayed 3nights & felt so relaxed & at home. The owner goes out of his way to make sure guests have everything they need/want to make their stay the best possible. Rooms are large & spotlessly clean, with big windows to enjoy the view. Approx 10min walk from bus stand, some buses continue past hotel so ask b4 getting off in town.

Relaxing vibe, good food, great staff”
Probably the best place I stayed in may 6-day trip to Nepal (I stayed in 4 different hotels/hostels). Staff were very accommodating and friendly. They make sure you are comfortable and happy. Met really wonderful guests as well. Good place if you like hiking, sunsets and tasty vegetarian food.

Great choice for staying in Nagarkot”
The owner is very friendly and provided me with helpful recommendations for discovering the area. The room was very clean, quiet and definitely a good value for money. The home-cooked food was very delicious and probably one of the best Newari meals I had in Nepal.

Friendly Stay”
I had a short stay, arrived late and left early. the staff were fantastic they made sure I was comfortable in my room, cooked me a lovely dinner and advised me on the best hiking trails to take back to Bhaktapur. along with sunrise times and the time it would take to walk up to the viewpoint. unfortunately the weather wasn't kind so the view wasn't all that good back the 5 hour hike back to Bhaktapur was great.
