Excellent Location”

First of all, I would like to thank you for the kindness and for being helpful to Mr. Meynhard (Sorry if the spelling is wrong). Is so helpful and makes sure the preparation of breakfast is superb. His hotel is in such a great location. Helpful for location. I want to come back to his place. Quite, Simple place next to the lake. Obertraun is near Hallstatt. Clean Hotel. You will not regret staying in this place and you can rely on Mr. Meynhard. Again Thank you.

The location is the best”

The hotel location has the best view and can be reached within 1 minute from bus station or 5 minutes to nearest train station by walk. Anyway the breakfast was just okay (probably due to low season on the end of winter). Do not forget to inform the reception if you like to check-in early or late check-in as they will be on the desk between 3 pm until 9 pm only. The room is super clean and we have lake view. Hallstatt is just 10 minutes by bus (ride every hour only). It was nice staying.

Basic rooms, but fantastic staff, breakfast, and location is great in obertraun right on the lake. Many options to get to and from Hallstatt including ferry and kayaks located right at the hotel. Great value

+++ best view of the lake and mountains. Affordable, includes breakfast, clean room, comfortable bed, nice balcony. - wifi barely worked, you have to pay for parking, can hear the others walking even if our door is closed.

This is a small hotel is run by the owner and his wife. This is why their front desk is not manned 24/7. Yet, they are flexible with prior arrangement for check-in. as well as other special needs.

Good place to stay”

This hotel does not locate in the center of Hallstatt, you will take a taxi for 15-20mins to reach but it really near the lake. In the summer you can swim, rent a boat, play ground, park etc, it really nice. If you rent a car then it will be comfortable for you to be here and there.

Amazing area”

If i gonna talk about the city and the view it is from most amazing views i have ever seen. While the city is amazing, the hotel is good. The room is clean but small. The breakfast is so nice. Totally recommended.
