A home in the heart of Jogja ”

I visit jogja with my mom. She doesn't really like the idea to stay in different hotel. So I choose gowongan inn which we book for 7 days. When we got there , the hotel gives us free upgrade from superior room to deluxe. My mom loves to stay in gowongan inn. The hotel near tutu, malioboro, sasrowijayan and whenever you need to go to prambanan temple you need only to walk for 5 minutes to the nearest trans Jogja which can take you to prambanan. First I would like to thank management to makes a wonderful services especially for my mom. And as a customer.. I would like give you an advices. For staff your hotel truly have 5 stars services. Hanya saja mungkin atasan staf perlu lebih respek dalam melihat tamu. Saya sering ke luar negeri oleh sebab itu saya selalu praktis dalam berpakaian mungki. Hanya kaus dan celana pendek juga sandal. Saya menangkap beberapa x orang yang dihormati staff memandang saya agak rendah dan menyapa sangat minim dibanding tamu yang berpakaian rapi.

Modern hotel with great service near train station”

We've arrived in Yogyakarta by train late at night, but walked to the hotel by foot since it was pretty close to the station (5 min walk). The hotel was easy to find with help of the sing on the board and turning from the main street in the yards. Room was modern and clean, hotel staff was friendly and helpful.There was a small swimming pool, room for business meetings and cars from the hitel. The hotel restaurant is quite big and its food is quite good. Wi-Fi internet was not very stable and speed was slow, also it was Enjoyed staying in this hotel.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile”

This hotel was good for family. The location near Malioboro, the famous street in Yogyakarta. I am stay here with my family, wife and 2 kids. My kids were happy when they swam in small swimming pool. At nigth, i went to main street near this hotel for looking for dinner, I found "cangkringan" that very nice, many young peoples there. I love this hotel.

enjoyable..in quiet surroundings, in the heart of ”

i stayed only 1 nite in Gowongan Inn, on my last day travelling to Yogyakarta... very near to the train station, only 10 minutes walk. it was comfortable room, but kinda disapointed of the swimming pool, it wasn't as good as shown on the agoda, but anyway it is the best angle of picture taking of the pool. but i've enjoyed the pool... quiet surroundings and near to attraction shopping places of Jl. Malioboro.

Adequate Hotel”

Adequate Hotel The Hotel is at premium location in behind the railways station Yogyakarta. It's in walking distance from downtown Yogyakarta the well-known and touristic Malioboro street, fort Vredeburg and the sultans Palace. As well from railways station of Tugu. Our room was adequate. It had complete facilities in the room. And the beds were good. Bathroom was also adequate. Only the hot water required a little time to heated up. There is a pool (bit small) but we did not took the time to swim. Breakfast was nice, iconic Indonesian/Asian fusion cuisines served with American/continental breakfast. The staff were very friendly Overall, this hotel is good for a short stay at Yogyakarta, we stayed 3 nights for a good price!

This is my second stay in Yogyakarta After some nights stay at anothet hotel managed by O*O and other I. choose conventional hotel with bfast availability of coffe.amd.tea in my room.and the size of room wider

Okey budget hotel close to Malioboro”

Good location in Yogyakarta if you are arriving by train and wants to be close to Malioboro. It's located in a quiet part of Yogyakarta with nice surrounding unfortunately the rooms are a bit old and worn-out. Then pool is not very nicely located but seemed in good condition.

Great location!”

My stayed at Gowongan was really nice. The staff are very helping n friendly. I had problem with my neighboor because of the noise n the smoke. The hotel have a nice Gazebo that can be use for free. But i think they're too blind to see the sign on the wall. And i really thankful to the staff bec they responsed my complain very quick. Gowongan is a big hotel with a nice facilities and good price. Close to Mailoboro St. Easy access. many choices of transport. Good security n Quite hotel.

sure will go stay here again for next trip. near the tugu and malioboro street, also walkable from the train station. have a good enviroment, nice breakfast with good price

we spent 1 night at this hotel. the room is quite larger about 35m2. located not far from malioboro street. the breakfast is very good. the employees serviced with smile. i will come to this hotel if i come back to jogyakarta.

it was my first time and definitely i will return. the location is perfect if you are looking for a quite area but not far from malioboro street. the breakfast selection is also varied. it is also a perfect place to bring a family.

Comfortable hotel with friendly staff”

I stayed in Gowongan Inn for 8 nights for a work conference which was also held at the same hotel. It was a very comfortable stay and the conference venue was well-equipped, with a nice outdoor area for coffee breaks.

Good budget hotel in a central location”

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. Main reason we booked this place was because it is within walking distance from Malioboro street and also its a new building , so we expected it to be clean. The room was okay , quite comfortable , but the bathroom could have been cleaner. The water pressure from the shower was not that great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had some issue with the rain water noise on day1 and they immediately had it fixed. Breakfast is okay. They don't have much variety from the international menu. It seemed more like a business hotel rather than a touristy one , catering to locals. Overall its a good budget hotel

Good service Hotel ”

I came so early and it was busy as they were fully booked. I'm impressed by their 'respond' (even though I notice they are quite young), they asked my number and promised will call me if there is room available early. They did call and understand my situation when I told that the room smell of smoking (I do not smoke and allergic), I was given another room. I'm impress by their services. It is away from Malioboro but easy reached by 'becak' - rickshaw. Actually, this is why I choose this hotel - away from 'crowded' Malioboro. It is good hotel, good price, good services. Will stay again and highly recommended.

a nice & comfy hotel to stay in, friendly staffs”

We're staying for a night, we didnt have much time to explore but it's location near Malioboro (reachable with Becak, facilitate near hotel) but overall it was a nice place to sleep in. Comfortable, Safe & Quiet Place.

location, pool and breakfast”

location is great as it is located just within the malioboro st. pool is small. Breakfast is awesome and delicious. Staff are all friendly and helpful.
