I have used agoda for many years and have always been very happy with the hotels i have chosen. This time I was horribly disappointed. The hotel is in a great position, not far from the main tourist area with good views. I also liked the short walk to get there. The hotel room was filthy, with used cotton buds and other personal stuff left in bath room, the toilet fithy and the bathroom and room obviously not swept or mopped. A disgrace. I paid for 2 nights at USD75.per night. Much better and extremely clean hotels in the bazaar area for USD15. Bandipur is a great destination but this hotel is an embarrassment to the beautiful region.

Perfect place to relax away from the husstle but still just 3 min from the village.The owner is extremly friendly and helpful. I can highly recommend this beautiful retreat!!

Just a guesthouse”
the rooms are not arranged when we were there due to not receiving information. Fortunately, there were rooms available. the rooms are not nice and we left after one night and decide to move to the next place.

Terrible”
One wall of the room was half covered in damp and hence had a distinct smell when entering the too . The furniture consisted of two antiquated chairs and a table in very poor condition next to a large locked metal store age box. The bathroom mirror and shelf had not been cleaned and there were still dirty towels in the room. I can't even begin to describe the colour of the pillow and how badly stained it was. We slept with our clothes on and although we had paid for two nights checked out the next day. The view would have been good but it was misty.

Nice town, shame about the bed”
Staff tried hard to please, but a cockroach in the bed (which later collapsed in the night) is hard to get over. Driver provided to get us to KTM was very good.

Gloriously impressive mountain views!”
This is a very good value b&b/simple hotel with simply put the most impressive views I've ever experienced! The views from the hotel rooms stretches tens of kilometers and gives this place an almost surreal and magical quality. I recommend it highly for couples that want to find a relaxing retreat in the Nepalese mountains. The owner is a chatty and generous man from Kathmandu that served me a super-tasty breakfast cooked à la minute and served in the super cosy terrace. The tranquility and atmosphere of this place is well worth the trip to Nepal alone! Wifi is available (but don't expect to stream HD YouTube videos – but you're in Nepal so why would you be interested in doing that?). My only critical observation is the simple standard of the hotel rooms (hot water didn't work, the "road"/mountain path to the hotel winds through households with goats etc) that might irritate some inexperienced tourists. But Nepal is all about experiencing a different world, and not complaining about differences to Western material standards!

Location & friendly staff”
Great stay, Madan made us feel very welcome. The views from this Hotel are awesome. I can imagine in Spring time with all the trees coming out that the garden would be even more beautiful. Madan is building some more rooms to the side of the main buiding which should be ready soon…the view from all the rooms are spectacular. Bandipur is such a special place to visit in Nepal and would certainly recommend a stop on your way to Pokhara or way back to Katmandu. Transfer up the mountain is easy…500 rupees on the way up and on the way down 50 rupees in the local jeep (great experience) Delcious breakfast served in the courtyard, the peace and serenity is just wonderful

Hoge verwachting werd zware teleurstelling”
Na meer dan 10 hotels en een zware trekking was dit het duurste hotel dat we uitkozen om even bij te komen.Het begon heel positief door de fantastische ligging en sfeervolle aankleding. Maar daarna hield het ook wel op.Zeer vieze kamers, douches die niet werkte op meerdere kamers! ( eerste hotel waar dit zo was, zelfs bij hotels van )Schimmel op de lakens etcVerder is het hotel zeer gehorig. Indien toch te boeken, neem dan een kamer in het .Manager uit Kathmandu is alleen bezig met dollars, rest niet belangrijk. Overig personeel zeer klunzig, maar welwillend. Sturing ontbreekt.Meerdere stellen gesproken in 2 dagen met allemaal het zelfde oordeel, voor 1/3 van de prijs krijg je elders in bandipur veel meer waarVoor je geld!
