Super friendly staff - Fast replies!”

I was only here for a day in the female 6-person dorm. The female floor has one bathroom that is shared by 3 rooms. However, it was pretty clean, and they provided clean towels, shampoo and body wash. There was also a nice vanity space in the living room area for the female floor with a large mirror (plus hairdryers and a curling iron), so it was really nice to get ready there. All the doors (even the ones to the room) had a digital-lock with a passcode, so I didn't have to worry about safety issues. Most importantly, the bed was very clean and the blanket smelled nice also. I loved how there was a curtain on each bed, which made it extra cozy and gave a bit of privacy for the guests. Location-wise, it was super close to the Hongdae station exit 3 and the Yeonnam Gyeongui Line Forest Park. For its price, the guesthouse was absolutely wonderful! The staff was super friendly and helpful also. I would definitely go back here if I have to stay in Seoul for a budget.

A cozy place”

I love staying at the Family and Friends, it was just like a family, the house is so cool and cozy, except for the little space in the room. But I guess that does not make a big deal. I also love the breakfast, it was much better than other guest house that I've been to during my trip. Will come back one day, for sure

Just like you stay at your own house!”

The location is good, near Hongdae subway station, lots of good coffee shops and also shopping area nearby. The owner is really nice and gave us lots of travel suggestions. It also offer simple breakfast and it's free of charge, you can chat with owner in breakfast time. We stayed for 5 days and our room is just like our own small apartment which made us feel warm. We all had good memories and we'll definitely choose this place again if we visit Seoul.

Good location and very nice staff”

This's my first time to travel at Korea. Their staff are very nice and warm welcome, they can suggest any kinds of any places that you'd like to visit, just ask them! The location very near exit 3 of Hongdae station, also near walking street: street food, shopping place and etc. Strongly recommend this hostel for who travel alone or with friends. :D

Stayed for a night on 5 Sept 2016”

Stayed with my friend at the Deluxe Twin Bedroom. The room is perfect for 2 people. I like how all the doors are passcode locked, which is quite safe. The facilities are really clean and the staff are really friendly. However, do take note that the streets near the guesthouse do get quite quiet after midnight as it is not very near the subway station. Despite the distance, the road to the guesthouse from the subway station is quite flat (i.e no dragging your luggage uphill). I recommend this place for those who want to explore Seoul on a budget.

I had been stayed in Seoul for nine days with limited budget. I thought it might be a little bit inconvenient for me since I will share a room with a stranger. However it was a great experience for me. Beds are small but warm, food is simple but that's good! It is 10 minutes walking to the metro station, and in my favorite district in Seoul Hongdae! Young people's place! The hosts are pretty nice ! They are twins!!!🤗

Exceptional”

This Guesthouse is very near at the heart of Hongdae area. The place is worth penny that you paid for. And i must say they have flexible terms in cases of checking in late and going home late in this guesthouse. Best part of my stay here are the staff. they are 110% accommodating and will definitely interact with you very friendly. I salute Cecil (one of their staff) for providing extra care to its guest. Highly recommend place to stay”

I was traveling alone and booked a 6 people shareroom for 2 nights. The room was so clean, warm and comfortable! The staff was so nice, she even helped me with my heavy luggage. cuz like such apparent in Seoul, they don't have elevator, which means if your luggage is very heavy, be prepared haha. Other than that, everything's just so great! Great location, comfortable beds, nice staffs! Highly recommend to everyone who is coming to visit Seoul! it's a wonderful place to stay!

Loved this hostel”

I would totally stay here again! The room was huge and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and right next to the room. It is a bit far from hongdae but super clean and nice. The owner was so sweet. I would absolutely stay here again.

Family and Friends House 2 is home-like hostel. They have very friendly hosts. They helped me a lot. Recommended good restaurants to me. The room is clean. The bathroom is supplied with shampoo and shower gel, as well as towels. Breakfast is simple. Well enough for me to be full before going out. The hostel is easy to find and the host provided very detailed map.

Hostel has very good location, it was very close to subway and the neighborhood was great, all the time something happened :)The hostel was clean and everything inside was really nice. Together with sister we are very satisfied and happy that we choose that place :) If we have the opportunity to go to Seoul we pick this place again.

Conveniently located near hongdae, fuss free check in and check out”

I stayed here on two different occasions. It is within 10 minutes walking distance from hongdae subway station and it is easy to find, just follow the instructions that they email to you after the booking is confirmed. Need to note that there are no lifts, and the stairway is narrow, you would need to carry your luggage aux the narrow staircase. This is especially for ladies in the female dorm, with usually large cases, as it is located on the fourth floor. The front gate, is also quite difficult to push open when you have bags of things on hand, had to push it open using my entire body's weight. The washroom is shared between 10 people so it can get crowded and noisy in the mornings and especially the nights. Staying in the room right beside the washroom, I could also hear clearly every time someone was using the washroom, so you may need to request for the room further away from the washroom if you are a light sleeper, they have two 2bed dorm rooms. Staff were generally friendly, most speak good English and will orientate you around, regarding the pass codes, to help you along. They also helped to store my luggage while I was away until may second stay a few days later with them. Portable water in not provided here, but you have access to a kettle in the shared kitchen - so that you may boil your own water.

Family and Friends house for sure! ”

I stayed here for one night and love that it is located in the Hongik area that has so many restaurants and coffee shops. Lynette was so welcoming and sweet that I felt like I was returning to a friends house for a night. I would recommend solo travelers or couples who are budget conscious to stay here for sure.

Comfy stay ”

The location is good, about 8 minutes walk from Hongik university station exit 3. There is a park along the way, which many young people gather and relax there. There're many foods and beautiful cafe and several convenient stores nearby. Room is clean, bed is comfortable, clean towers, shampoos, hair dryer, even hair curler were provided. They charge for laundry service. Breakfast is self-served, with coffee, bread and eggs. The host Lynette and her husband were warm and nice. I have met with other solo travelers here. My trip to Seoul was enjoyable thanks to this guesthouse.

Feel at home”

Stayed with my friends for 1 night after we came back from Busan. Feel at home when we arrived, the caretaker was really nice. He help us with luggages and explain everything to us about the house rules. Healthy breakfast and with a really nice staff. Will definitely comeback.

Excellent stay”

Excellent stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Curtains on beds allow for privacy. Exceptional location, close to the subway. No street noise allowing for a quiet stay. Breakfast consists of toast and juice. Will definitely stay here again in the future.
