Nice accommodation with very hospitable owners, who pick us from the pier and bring us back at the end. The room was very clean and good furnished with a clothing rack, a fridge and a mirror. They even offers drinking water and coffee in the morning. The bath was also deep clean and new looking. There are plenty of Thai restaurants in walking distance, also some shops with everything you need. The beach is a 10 min walk, also the only temple of the island is near by. You can rent some motorbikes if needed and the owner also do the bookings for ferries, snorkling and diving trips for you. All in all its the perfect location for a good and relaxing holiday on Koh Mak and we're really recommend this amazing home stay

Nice people, clean and comfortable”
Nice place, the couple that keeps this place was very nice and did everything to help us. Room is very clean and has everything you need inside. Nice small common area outside to read or have coffee. We could rent a motorbike from there, and also buy the tickets to go back to Bangkok. Shower has hot water with pressure :) Quiet area to enjoy, if you rent a motorbike to go around, we loved it The only (very small) detail would be the micro fiber towel to take a shower that are not the most comfortable to use, but again it is a small detail and everything else was just perfect. I highly recomand this place

Best Place to stay on Koh Mak”
Been here for the second time and this place has improved, although it has already been perfect last time. The Host is very friendly and helpful an will make your stay as good as possible. Perfectly clean room (and bathroom), silent AC and you can rent a motorbike as well. We would recommend staying here and sooner or later come back to this lovely place!

This is definitely a place to choose if you are on Koh Mak! The owners are the friendliest! They create atmosphere of trusting people around them! They make you feel like home and help with any question and help to solve any problem you have! Rent motorbike here! And the room… it was very clean. I mean so clean that you could eat from the floor)

Alejandro the owner is really sweet and helpful. The bed is simply the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. Free drinking water all day. 10-15min walk to the beach

Nice quiet place ”
Pros - Helpful owner who arranged for me my tickets (boat & Minivan) to Pattaya. Also helped me with additional information i needed for my diving plans - Clean, quiet rooms. - Cheap & Satisfying Cons - A bit out of the way from the beaches / shops. Easily overcome this by renting a bike (which almost everybody do) straight from the owner. - No pickup service from Pier. Got to take a taxi, 50 Bhats for a 5 mins drive across the island. Overall, it’s pretty good and delivers more than what i was expecting for its cheap prices. Just a tip, stock up on snacks and drinks if you can before arriving on the island. It’s quite funny seeing how little they stick up at the shops 😂😂😂 That’s the charm of Koh Mak I guess

Owner are very kind, lovely, humble, friendly and helpful. Room is very clean, comfortable to stay here, have facilities enough to use in room. Location was close the Ao Nid Pier that can walk, location was convenient to go anywhere. I could relax in Koh Mak so happy for trip Value for money!! Recommend anyone stay this accommodation

Perfect Stay”
The Host was very helpful and friendly an the room had everything we could ask for and was perfectly clean. Happy Ko Mak is just a 15 min walk from the pier and the host also has scooters for rent, which are nice and cheap. I would book it again anytime!

I really loved this place. It's very quite on the back of a building away from the road. It is nice, clean, modern...couldn't ask for anything more! The garden in front of the room is very nice and relaxing. Special mention to the owner. Amazing and super helpful guy. Grazie mille! Hopefully I'll be back soon!

The place is situated near the pier. There are several Thai food restaurants nearby. Owner speaks English perfect that is not so common in the island. The owner is helpful and very polite. Rooms was clean and from my point of view just renewed. Everything looks new.

Lovely stay”
The rooms are new, very clean and have an air condition. The only thing I really missed was a fridge because the resort also dont sale beverages. The rooms also have no TV. In front of the rooms is a nice garden for relax. The owner is lovely and helpful.

Great spot if you are looking for a quiet spot”
Staff was awesome and helpful. It was a great spot for me to relax before flight back home. There are great restaurants nearby. My favorite one was Om! Authentic Thai food. The nearest beach is at 20-25 minutes walk. The best way to travel is by bicycle or scooter (250 B/day).

Exceptional”
I strongly recommend this place. The apartment is in a quiet area which is what me and my boyfriend were looking for. The owner Alessandro is a very kind and warm hearted person, he was always available to help or to give some tips about the island. The room itself was very clean, the windows were facing a garden. You can hear only birds singing :) As the island is tiny the place is close to everywhere. Alessandro rents motorbikes and gives assistance with buying boat tickets, so you get everything sorted out without any hassle. I would definitely stay in his place again.

This place was very nice and clean and they rent motorcycles so it's a win win . The Hosts are amazing and sweet . They know how to make their guests feels welcomed. I would stay here again if I came back to Koh Mak and you should stay here as well . Beautiful birds and butterflies Sitio g outside your room what else can you ask for . Also sunset bungalows is a perfect place for food and sunsets , it's just down the street

We stayed for 5 days and we loved it, the owner and all off the staff is super friendly and super helpful. They picked and dropped us to the ferry, rented us a motorbike without any hassle, they also offer free water, instant coffee and tea. The room itself is really spacious and comfortable the shower is very nice, overall cleanliness and the the backgarden are in great conditions. The bed was very comfortable and if we come back to koh mak one day will definitely look into staying there again. Thank you for the nice stay.

Loved everything about this place. The room was spacious and very clean with a lovely garden outside. The hosts Alessandro and Wiyada was great and helpful with anything you needed and made you feel like home. The location is close to restaurants, minimart, laundry, Muay Thai gym, and within walking distance from the beach. They also provide motorbikes for a cheap price, so you can easily get anywhere you want on the island. I’m really glad I chose this accommodation and I highly recommend it. I will definitely stay here again once I return to this beautiful island . David

Koh mak homstay n'est peut-être pas idéalement situé, mais son prix abordable, son confort très correct, et la grande disponibilité d'Alessandro.... en font une bonne solution d'hébergement. Pour notre départ, Alessandro a gracieusement transporté nos bagages en side-car, et nous a prêté un scooter pour nous rendre au port....
