The place to stay every time I go to Gwangju”
The mechanical parking lot is a bit inconvenient, but the parking staff is very friendly, and because it is a construction company, there are two entrances and exits, so it doesn't feel that inconvenient, and you can leave quickly at check-out time (I have often waited for an hour at other hotels where there is only one entrance and exit). SUVs can go down to the basement. The front desk staff who was in charge was kind and good, and the woman next to her looked tired. The room is always clean and there are many things to do and restaurants around, so it's good. I think there is no other place in Gwangju with this quality at this price.

Exceptional hotel at Gwangju”
During my 11 day trip to Korea, this hotel struck me the most because it’s a very high tech hotel and the amenities included in your stay are very good. The floor is even heated! Plus, the breakfast buffet is quite nice - lots of options and there’s even a bibimbap station 😚 Will definitely come back here on my next trip!

Perfect all levels ”
We only stayed in gwangju for a wedding and this hotel was the best choice to rest! Very comfortable, clean, amazing view, 5 stars staff, delicious breakfast. All perfect! The only thing that was not ok is the vibration that you feel on the room because of the noise outside of the pubs and bars (not sound) but it's OK if you are not so much sensitive. The area is perfect, very central. Coming back as sure if we come back to the city

Great location, cleanliness, and breakfast”
Good location with many restaurants and a mart nearby. Convenient access to public transportation (bus). The breakfast had a decent variety and the food looked of good quality. However, even though it was a room for two people, the bed was too small.

New, spotless and great facilities”
I was probably the only foreigner in the hotel at the time of my stay due to the Covid period. I had the unfortunate circumstance of catching covid when i checked in, and had to extend my stay to complete my 7 day isolation. The staff did not speak very much English but they were generally understanding of the situation; they were kind. I was glad that the room is very clean, new and had a great city view, plus I was able to Netflix on the room tv. The washer in the room is a big bonus for those who are hoping to do some laundry. There is a big gym across the street that hotel guests can use (though i unfortunately was unable to make use of, due to my isolation). The hotel breakfast is one of the most amazing ones in terms of quality, i have had in hotels. There were western and Korean style foods in the buffet. The 4 eateries at level 2 were very reasonably priced, and are of good quality. I will definitely be back.

Location is fantastic with convenience store just downstairs. Housekeeping is excellent! Huge plus point is the washing machine in the room! We're travelling about 2 weeks in Korea and having this washer, really helps us alot! Compact room with all the needed items!

This hotel has restaurants nearby with night life at the 2nd street infront of it. Right in the middle of 2 station n easy to walk to. Highly recommended.

New hotel with nice location”
The apartment is a good choice when you travel with family since there are not many hotels providing apartment type of accommodation. Parking is free. There are many restaurants around and a lotte max mart is just across the street which is super convenient for grocery shopping. The only down side is that the staff is not actually speaking English so it may cause little trouble when you want to ask them something.

A gem in the midst of Gwangju”
The city is notorious for not having an affordable, mid-range hotel. Utop hits that exact sweet spot. It offers great service, and an outstanding breakfast service. Highly recommended for all visitors.

Clean hotel with good buffet breakfast ”
Hotel is new and very clean. However , the double bed was a bit small for 2 people. There is a 24hr mini mart at the ground floor and giant supermarket directly opposite hotel. Many bars and restaurants nearby. Subway is quite far from hotel. Breakfast buffet was surprisingly good and cheap.

Clean and Pretty Good and Quiet Location”
Stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel room and toilet are clean. There are also quite a few restaurants around the area and a huge Lotte Max supermarket. The area is rather peaceful. The only issue we had was to take a cab from Gwangju-Sejong train station as the Agoda address was not accurate (as most korean addresses), so take note to probably use Naver or Kakao maps for accurate address.

Clean and nice parking”
We stayed in 2 bedroom residence. There is a flaw in the design of the layout. Bathroom doesn't have a door. Shower can be seen through the glass if someone decides to open the curtain so no privacy. It doesn't make sense why they have designed it this way. There was a big construction and kept making loud beeping noise from truck backing up non stop. I would give it 1 star but everything else worked out fine.
