Traditional Hotel near Ski Town Center ”
Great location. 3mins walk to intercity bus station, Hanaro mart, taxi stop and free shuttle bus stop to Yongpyeong resort. Many restaurants nearby. Manager speaks English and helpful in answering guest queries. A staff that speaks Chinese maybe there sometime as well. Ideal for non Korean speaking tourist. Old school family run hotel with rustic wood decor. Very clean and decent size room with complete necessities. Sufficient room heating for -20 celcius weather. Hotel provide Ski equipment & clothing rental as well as ski training sessions at competitive pricing. Good 1 stop hotel for foreign tourists Ski trip. Hopefully tourist economy can recover lockdowns , and help traditional hotel to do more upgrades.

Value for Money hotel at a good location”
Facilities and furnishings were basic but it's in a good location. Plus we were able to get cheap rental of snowboard and boots from the shop in the hotel. It also helps that the owner Michael speaks very good English and was able to answer our queries very well! Enjoyed our stay there!

Good budget hotel near bus terminal ”
I needed a place to sleep, nothing else. This place is great for that, and a quick walk from the bus terminal and taxi queue. I’ll stay here again for ski trips.

Value for money”
Very nice hotel. Only few mins from bus terminal. Also free shuttle bus to Ski resort 2 mins walk way. Convenience store and Restaurants all less than 5 m s walking. Hotel run by Korean family. Michael in best of all . Speak perfect English. Provide you all the ski and sightseeing info. You can rent ski gear from Michael at much cheaper price than at the ski resort. Definitely will come back. Highly recommended. Cheers.

Excellent”
Family run business where the husband/wife run the hotel and the son Michael runs the ski rental shop. All 3 o them spoke English. The hotel is quite old with dated wallpaper but has been well maintained. The room is clean and there is housekeeping everyday. Hotel is 2min walk from Hoenggye bus terminal, and Korea Post where YongPyong resort shuttle bus picks up & drops off. There is a taxi stand opposite where you supposedly can hire to get to Alpensia. I got my ski clothing & gear rental from Michael and he also arranged for discounted lift passes for Yong Pyong.

Value for money hotel, also convenient to commute to other city”
Small room, hotel close to supermarket, taxi stand, intercity bus station and skiing resort shuttle bus station, offer reasonable ski equipment rental and coaching lesson. 15 minutes walk to downtown for food and fun. Air conditioning a bit noisy but if you are tired after skiing then won't matter you. Bed is asian size 4 fts for two people in double double room. Hotel owners are all very nice and willing to help and offer assistance. Most staffs/owners speak good English.

Very good”
15 minute, $15 dollar cab ride from the Ski Resort at Yongyong, not 2 minutes as advertised (I had planned on walking, but it is over 6km away). Otherwise, quiet, clean warm hotel that is a few blocks from places to eat. Staff member i dealt with spoke english.

what has been advertised is that the resort shuttle stop is 2min of walk away from our place. anyways glad you were satisfied otherwise :)
One of the worst”
Bed were not clean, there are a few flies in the room. The bed were too soft, bed frame were broken. No big towel were given, only small towel. The bathtub were cracked. No water was given. There are some food left from previous guest in the fridge.

unclean untidy unkind”
uncomfortably untidy. won't come back again. the front desk responded "Exactly" to a satirical remark from the company I was then with: "There seems no such thing like a good view." "Exactly" was his answer!!! Never heard of such a negative comment on the accommodaion from the employer who works for that accommodation. Couldn't understand why it was evaluted outstanding.

Very nice!”
We had a short stay at Green and Blue Hotel and the experience was excellent! The room is cozy, clean and warm. Breakfast is rich and filling (coffee, cereal, sliced bread, Korean breakfast). Breakfast is served in a typical Korean table(low height table). The owners are very nice and very helpful. They helped us with bus timetables, provided ski / gears rental and lift pass at fair prices at the hotel itself. The hardware is of good quality. The hotel location is very accessible from Honeggye bus terminal station (3min walk). The hotel is outside the ski resort but the free shuttle bus gets you to the resort in 15min. The shuttle bus stop is is 2 min walk from the hotel and a supermarket in between. Overall, the service provided has exceeded our expectations . We will definitely come back here for our next ski trip (after the bruises on my girlfriend's bottom are gone :) )

One of the best hotels I have stayed at”
We had the best stay at the Green and Blue hotel. The staff are fantastic and speak perfect English. They went above and beyond to help us numerous occasions. The hotel is located about a ten minute drive from the ski resort and there are numerous shuttles/taxis to take you up there. The hotel was great and the breakfast was also very nice. The owners also have a rental shop which is much cheaper than renting up at the resort. They also provide discounted tickets for the ski lifts. Overall this was a fantastic experience and I am looking forward to our next visit.

Just what we were looking for!”
Family run, friendly and accommodating staff, english-speaking. Our room was quiet, clean, warm, private bath, and cleaned daily/fresh linens. We liked having a hot pot, coffee selection, and a refrigerator in our room. The grocery store next door was convenient. The location couldn't have been better, just a few minutes from everything. Bus and taxi stand right by, under 5 minutes to middle of town, etc. Breakfast included many selections, Western and Korean. The staff was friendly and personable and went out of their way to provide whatever we needed. This is what makes Green and Blue so nice, the interaction with small business owners who really care about their hotel. Keep your expectations reasonable and you will be pleasantly surprised.

Value for money, friendly family run hotel”
Hotel is run by a family. Stay here and save money for the skiing. Hotel has a ski shop too where the son runs it. He is a ski instructor and is very helpful in giving advise on where to ski based on your level. He also has good contacts. He gave us 55% discount on the ski lift tickets at Alpensia, 35% for YP, since we stayed at the hotel and rented equipment from him. His rental prices are also lower than those charged at the ski resort. He is generous with advise and instructions on how to improve your skiing and he speaks really good English since he graduated from overseas. The hotel is a bit old but everything works. Clean sheets, clean towels, clean rooms, heated rooms and bathrooms. Walk to some good eating places nearby. Near the bus interchange for YongPyong and only a short taxi ride (about 8-9000 won) to Alpensia. The family tries to make everyone feel welcome, this is not one of those impersonal hotel chain. I recommend this place.

I enjoyed my stay at G&B ”
The hotel is in a very quiet town 15 mins drive to the Yongpyong ski field. There is a free shuttle bus that runs to and from the ski resort. The hotel is family run and the son Michael speaks perfect English and is very helpful. I hired all my gear from him at a price much better than I would get at Yongpyong Resort. Michael also gave me generous discounts on lift passes and dropped me at the ski field every morning. The rooms are warm and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Best value and comfortable”
We stayed there for two nights. It is very convenient, close to the shops and bus terminal. Also, the shuttle to Yongpyong is only one min walk away. We hired the couch and skiing equipments from the hotel. It is much cheaper than the ski resort. Michael was very patient to teach us. The room is clean and spacious for its price. We can comfortably open one big suitcase and still have plenty of room to move. We will definitely come back if we go skiing in the area again.

One stop for Ski Player”
The host Juli and her husband Andy was very friendly to us, and send the breakfast to our room every morning. If you come here for Ski at Yongpyeong I strongly recommended you stay here, because they have full equipment for rent in much lower price compare to Yongpyeong ski rental center, and also I get almost close to half price discount Ski Lift ticket from Andy, it maximize my original ski time from 4 hours to 10 hours, means you can ski more but same price, or you can choose to ski 4 hours but the price much lower than the price you pay at the counter. For those who rent a car drive from Airport to their hotel, they do have a big parking space beside the hotel, and the bus drop off point just 5 minutes away from the Hotel, and also the Mini Market nearer than the bus drop off point, everything all you need it just surround the hotel. I definitely will come back again.

A warn Hotel”
We (2 adults & 1 10-yr-old girl) went to YP for skiing & had stayed at G&B Hotel for 6 nights. The hotel is a small one & owned by a couple (Andy & Julie). Both of them can speak Eng, in particular Julie. Breakfast is standard, bread, egg, cereal, coffee, etc. Not so many choices but that's enough for a simple breakfast. You can rent ski or snowboard equipment at the hotel at a relatively low price when compared with the ski resort. About 100M away from the hotel, there is a bus stop providing free shuttle service to & from the hotel & YP ski resort. The schedule is good. There are many good restaurants near the hotel (but please don't go to the one on the left hand side when leaving the hotel). Andy can offer discounted YP ski tickets for us. Although hotel room is small, water is hot enough. The room is equipped with heater. We only rested in the hotel after skiiing & that's enough. A 5-star hotle will only waste my money. The most impressive thing is the kindest service of the owners. I can't read Korean words. Before I went to Korea, I was afraid I couldn't find my way from the airport to the hotel. Julie kindly advised me by emails again & again. The quality service deserves my highest recommendation to my friends.

Great location and hospitality”
Location is great as it is just 1 minute walk from the inter City bus station to take the direct bus to seoul. It is around 15 minutes drive from the ski slopes. It is also within 5 minutes walking distance from restaurants. First day I had some issues in getting to the hotel and hence got separated with my partner. The owners of the B and B were very helpful and trying to help me even though it was already quite late at night. We had many queries during the trip but they helped us resolved them. The room is clean and cosy and very nice electric blanket.
