- The hotel is very near to the southern cross station. - The staff are very helpful. - Room is great. We stayed in the family room for 6 days with no cleaning service option but you can ask for the new towel / pillow / bin. - The room is the same as its photo. - Close enough to be able to walk to the crown casino and outlet (only 2 tram stop) - check in/out very quickly. They accept to store the luggages before/after checkin-out - Good price if booked in advanced - Definitely stay at the next time in Mel.

This suited my purpose brilliantly, I needed to be on the first skybus for an early morning flight. As the location was so good I could walk to skybus, I had no problem checking out as there is 24 hour reception. It was clean, staff were friendly, it was a cost effective solution.

Excellent Budget Hotel”
We are both in our 70s. We walked with our luggage from Spencer street station (in the rain at around 8.30pm) and next morning to Flinders St station ( no rain) without any difficulty. The room was excellent with a very comfortable bed. Absolutely no complaints.

Room was great & staff were very helpful & respectful. Based across the road from southern cross station it was walking distance to crown casino, dfo and abundance of restaurants for all likes. Enjoyed our stay very much. Parking was so cheap & convenient. We parked and walked to every destination we chose. Room was excellent and clean with great shower. Tv in front of bed & relaxed nicely. Worth considering to stay there.

So close to trains, trams, taxis, shops, the casino and attractions such as the Aquarium, River Cruises and helicopter flights. The queen room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. Lots of brochures and maps available near reception.

To be fair, we only stayed overnight for about 7 hours for sleep so our stay was limited. That said, we were happy with the staff, the room and the location. The hotel looked spotless and clean, nice rooms and bathroom. Perfect location for our early morning train.

I have stayed many times and each time the hotel gets even better. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff helpful and friendly. And it’s diagonally across from Southern Cross Station and the Sky bus. I feel safe leaving the hotel at 4:00am to get to the airport. Good price as well if booked in advance.

I stayed in one of the cheaper rooms but still found the facilities, cleanliness and staff to be very good. Location is great as I traveled to Southern Cross station so is almost straight across the road. I’ll definitely stay there again.

Bit of a rabbit warren but the room was comfortable. Aircon didnt seem to work properly. Thankfully it wasnt too hot in Melbourne at the time.

Nice and clean. Comfortable for my one night stay. Great shower. Only thing I would have liked was an extra blanket in the room. I left the heater on low overnight, which I normally don't like to do. Will definitely stay there again.

Booked family room, stayed 3 nights in total over 3 different bookings. It's so much better than I expected. Location is awesome, very close to Southern Cross station, everything you need is there. Room is clean and quite spacious for 4 of us including our 4 luggage. Room has microwave. Coin laundry a bit far out in the carpark but better than nothing. Service provided was top notch! Very friendly, polite, helpful and always available regardless of the time. Luggage storage provided with no fuss as well. Very recommended for families looking needing hotel level service with great price.
