Grand Bella perfect for us”

Stayed in Grand Bella from18-21 April 2016 for the Pattaya leg of the Songkran (Water) festival. From the reviews I was rather concerned about the attitude of the front desk - receptionist. But when we arrived (seven of us), we didn't have any issues with the Front Desk. The first lady receptionist that served us was Thai and you can tell she's struggling with English. As a traveller I guess we all have to understand that not every country let alone, everyone can speak English. That being the case, we tried to speak in a manner that is easily understandable for them. Short sentences and simple words. A while later, another lady receptionist took over the task. She spoke very good English and we found out she's a Filipino. Her name was "Joy" and it was such a joy dealing with her. Pleasant polite and effective. So, I think for anyone having problems with Grand Bella's reception, to ease things over, you may want to consider speaking in a manner that is easier for people who do not study English or even not having English as a second or third language, to understand. For us dealing with the Thai was not much of a problem, but Joy the Filipina that attended to us was excellent. Also try to smile more and be more relax when you check in. We noticed another group was extremely agitated. I know it's been a long flight and I know everyone's "dying" to get into their rooms. But the receptionist may be having a tough day too. So, let's chill and be nice to each other. There's always two sides to a coin. Some are guests who are really fussy and expecting 10stars (if there's such a thing) treatment from a three star establishment. Let's be realistic. What we loved about Grand Bella : 1. Location About 100M away left or right leads you to a street where there are plenty of street food. The roadside chicken rice was good, the fish, pork noddles was great. They're both located in front of a 7-11. Costs about 50 baht per bowl. Across these two stalls, a barbecue stal

Quiet Dwelling in a Loud City”

Positioned opposite Soi7, I found Grand Bella was quite excellent considering the hustle and bustle of Pattaya City. Much of the afternoon was spent at the Rooftop Pool with friends swimming and watching the beautiful sun set over the Gulf of Thailand. At times the lobby was busy during check in and check out times as groups would arrive but that was to be expected for Grand Bella caters to conferences. It has two saunas, one opposite ground floor pool and gym the other a floor down from the Rooftop Pool. I stayed in the Pool Veiw room in building 1 which had a LCD tv, large barfridge, table and chairs, electronic safe and bu request a king size bed of two double beds joined which was just fine. Bed was comfortable and aircon was excellent. Ground floor pool was quite busy at times but I spent most of my time at the Rooftop pool which was usually just me and some friends up there. Buffett breakfast was good, had a good range of food but I'd usually buy food at restaurants later in the day. Mostly quite but at times heard the comings and goings of other guests. Staff were friendly and the cleaning staff on my floor were always helpful. If I find myself returning to Pattaya I'd seriously consider staying again.

Holiday in Grand Bella Hotel”

I was 3 weeks in Grand Bella hotel with my girlfriend and i loved my stay there. I get the room pretty decent price, as i stayed quite long time. Hotel was in good location, all services was quite near (pharmacy, hospital, banks, bars and restaurants) ,room was excelent with balcony to forward inside pool area. In pool area there was also gym and sauna which I used many times. Roof top swimming pool was quiet and very relaxing place!. Hotel was generally pretty quiet and peaceful, no big parties or anything, so hotel is very good for couples just relaxing or families. Staff was quite friendly and helpfull when I needed something. Breafast was also quite nice but after 3 weeks I started to want something different :) Walking street entertainment area is quite far away (about +2km?) so you need to take local pickup taxi (if you dont wanna walk) which is driving around same route all a time, its costing few bahts. Only problem I find was poor WiFi connection which didnt work sometimes at all, but otherwise everything was as I would expect In four star hotel. I think next time Im coming holiday in pattaya I choose this hotel again :) Thanks to helpfull staff and manager!

Excellent stay at a beautiful hotel”

The stay at grand Bella was an extremely pleasing one. The unique and beautifully designed swimming pool is the perfect centerpiece for the hotel all around it. The staff is cordial and well behaved. The rooms are spacious and well light. The interiors are tastefully done. The location of the hotel is excellent for foreign tourists, being close to al kazer and Tiffani shows, as well as a 15 minute walking distance to the beach and walking street. Central mall is close by, located at a distance of about 1 km. Although we did not eat at the hotel, the charming little Austrian restaurant in front of the grand Bella has excellent food and drinks, and is a must visit. Had a great time at grand bella, I would suggest it to everyone looking for an excellent hospitality experience at very reasonable prices

A Budget Haven”

Grand Bella Hotel is an affordable option with decent facilities for any visitor looking for a stay in Pattaya city centre. It's location is off the walking street area (but gives you a reason to walk there by the beach). Close to Central mall. With enough convenience stores around to ease your daily necessities. Facilities are adequate, but with plenty of tourist at the common pool on the first floor, one might consider heading up to the pool on the 8th floor if peace and quiet is what you seek. What impressed my partner and I was the hospitality of the staff. We were given and upgraded room when we arrived as we were early and the room is not ready, even throwing in complimentary breakfast (although the breakfast is fairly average). Joy and her team was quick to accommodate to our requests, despite the large number of visitors at the hotel, ensuring we have an excellent holiday. Cheers!

One of my many visits to the Grand Bella and as usual its a great stay. Lets start,you are very close to Soi 7 a top Soi (street) in Pattaya and a 5 minute walk to the beach. On arrival you will be greeted with a welcome soft drink and your check in will only take minutes. Believe me the check in staff are great .ok you are now taken past the lovely pool area to your room . The hallways are beautifully tiled and you will find room has a huge bed , is bright ,spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Look out at the pool and you cant wait to get down there. The poolside bar will provide you with anything you want . Now just relax , enjoy a great hotel

Great stay”

Very pleased with my stay at the Grand Bella Hotel, i have paid a lot more in the past and received a lot less! The room which i stayed in was large and roomy and was divided into to areas a living and sleeping area. The bathroom was very clean and the shower was great. There are 2 pools in the hotel which look inviting however i didnt have time to use either as i only stayed for one night. The hotel is well located within the city, directly opposite soi 7 and only short walks from many of the city's amenities. For those that enjoy the nightlife soi 7 is very vibrant and is right on your doorstep. This hotel does become fully booked, so book in advance of stay, i wanted to extend my stay but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked. For what i paid this hotel exceeded my expectations and i will in future be using this modern, clean and friendly hotel. For those that prefer a quiet stay this may not be for you as the hotel is aimed towards families and showed with a high volume of children. The basics done very well!

STAY AT GRAND BELLA WAS AWESOME. SMART LOCATION IN PATTAYA. WALKABLE DISTANCE FOR EVERYTHING. SWIMMING POOL WITH GOOD MUSIC AROUND MAKES YOU FEEL YOUNG AND ENERGETIC. I WOULD VERY MUCH LIKE TO STAY AT GRAND BELLA ONLY WHEN I COME TO PATTAYA.

Nice place to stay in Pattaya”

Hello, I booked at Grand Bella for 3 weeks from 7 to 30 June but due to personal problems I had to leave earlier on June 19th.   I announced at the reception that I had to checkout earlier and to my surprise, because I knew it was a non refundable reservation, a lady at the reception helped me and even resolved to receive the money back for the remaining 11 days.   As for my vacation to Grand BELLA. it was great, the staff is very friendly, and any problem happened jumped to help me right away and solve the problem. the rooms are clean and well maintained, the food at the hotel's restaurant is delicious. In conclusion he deserves the four stars. Thank you.

Hotel with good location”

Overall, it was a wonderful stay in Grand Bella. We were upgraded to family room and the room was hugh and clean. The staff there were fine but don't expect very good services. The room was not noisy and we really enjoyed the stay there. Breakfast was good too. We will come back to this hotel again. Wifi was very fast and do not require login. Hot water available near the lift and in your room. There is a lot of indian staying in this hotel.

Favourite Grande Bella”

The Grand Bella has a large ground level pool with slide and different activity areas. There is a great small gym if you have the energy and a sauna room to sweat out the beer from the night before! There is also a rooftop smaller more private pool. You get a credit card type card to buzz into your room. a couple can have one each which saves hunting the key if your partner is out. The location is great for soi 7, and soi 8, and a short ride to soi's 6,5,4,3,2,1 and big C. Its not far from the beach where you can catch another jeep all the way to Walking street. Or, if you prefer you are near second road where another jeep takes you all the way to soi bukau. Due to all these positives I have stayed there more than five times with my partner.

comfort, clean and location all in one place”

I have enjoyed my stay here at Grand Bella. I had a pleasant time with location being the top and the room was so fresh with newly renovated feeling and cleanliness. I will definitely be back on my next stay here at Pattaya.

Centrally located for shopping”

It was next to Pattaya Memorial Hospital, 5 mins to Central festival mall, 4 mins to beach road. Nice rooms but the room service was not efficient, they dint clean the rooms much. Overall it was a nice place, they cater to mostly Indians in one block and Russians in a another block. They have a general reception for both the hotels Grand Bella and Bella Express.

the first reason i choice here is the "location". near by the central of PATTAYA city, it takes 3 mins to WALKING STREET( nightlife area) by motor. but after i arrival. i found that even it is located in the city center but was quiet. secondly, the room is new and clean. and the staff are friendly and always try to help you even they looks busy. of course, the most important thing is the price is reasonable.

My stay at the grand bella was very good apart from an issue with what swim shorts your allowed to wear, as people from India created a problem as they would come to swim in there underpants as they are not educated in cleanliness obviously after days of disputes they relaxed the issue with us and concentrated on educating those who needed educating all in all as always a fantastic hotel

I am regular traveler to Pattaya for Business Purpose. This was my first stay at Grand Bella. Stay was amazing. Rooms are clean and comfortable and loaded with all required amenities. Pool View from Balcony was outstanding. Its easier to get Public Transport just from outside the hotel. Overall a good Experience!!

Overall, a good experience ”

Our stay was good. However there was lack of any supervision around the pool area. there was a group of hotel guests at the pool swimming in their underwears, mind you, they were grown ups and not kids/teens. I think this is very unhygienic and not a very pleasant sight. I don't think it is fair for The guests to have to share the pool with the BELLA EXPRESS hotel guests as it makes the pool too crowded. Because of the very disturbing and noisy sights, we had to move to the smaller pool on the 8th floor of Grand Bella.

Absolutely perfect”

Absolutely perfect vacay for the weekend. Good location. Very close to Central Pattaya Festival. Very attentive staff. Really recommend to book thi hotel via Agoda - Fantastic Price, only one on earth!
